Wait sorry can I ask I thought the clutch claw was only possible from a Lvl3 charge. But in the video it didn't look like what the lvl 3 charge bonk into clutch claw looks like. Less hits. I'm confused..

@@midnightdragon6490 You can clutch claw from less charge levels, and the resulting attack is different. If you don't fully charge the hammer, instead of the spinning attack where you hit them a lot of times you simply fly towards the monster and hit it once and then you are clutched onto it.

When you do a charged hammer attack, whether it be level 1 or level 2, immediately attempt to clutch claw the monster as the attack finishes.

A tip: when an enemy clagger back you can release a moving charge 2 to do a forward mocing uppercut into the claw to abuse the clagger flinch. Super satisfying, especially if you get a ko on top of it.
