    His 180 snatch celebration in the ultra instinct goku singlet was great. favorite part of the whole competition!

    Gotta feel for fellow Colombian Brayan Rodellegas. He had 382 from 2022 worlds locked in for Paris rankings which otherwise would’ve easily qualified him. Anybody know what meet Lopez got nailed at? I’ve been looking with no success.

    I just cannot wait to see what he does at the Olympics. I think he is by far one of the most exciting and underrated athletes who will be competing. I don't really expect him to beat Nasar in the C&J, but l would be very surprised if he does not beat his 182 snatch by several kilos. That 182 was one of the easiest looking world records l have ever seen.

    For people that don't know why he stopped competing and disappeared for 4 yrs, he got caught with steroids and got banned, so it's nice that he is back, more likely probably get caught sooner than later

      Yeah, I think that was a bit of a favor on WH to not mention that. It isn't like he left to go provide for his family or take care of his sick kid or something.
      Nov 3. 2018:

      @NONO-hz4vo I get people in the sport do it, but he got caught and WH should've said he got popped and that's why he "disappeared" 4 yrs, just wish weightlifting house would just say he got popped.

      Seb usually says something about it. He may not come right out and say it, he may say something offhand but I don’t think he avoids it deliberately. He and his partner understand the sport unlike Eurosport’s previous commentator David Goldstein? Who always had a holier than thou attitude and would have liked to have seen the guilty party executed or at least banned for life.

    • @johndoherty-hh2ck
      @johndoherty-hh2ck 10 месяцев назад

      I hope so. WH commentary adds to the vid. Interestingly enough the US is lifting at the Europeans this year as they are passing on the Pan Ams due to the political situation in Venezuela. February should be a good month for lifting fans as the continentals are all one right after each other thru the month.

      I don’t want to jinx Pizzalato but the way his back has been misbehaving the last 1 1/2 years I think he’ll be fortunate to compete in Paris.

      Li Fabin 61kg is a safe gold medal, if Shi Zhiyong is ready @ Paris that's another safe gold medal... It might be smarter to send Liu Huanhua 102kg cat instead of Li Dayin or Tao

    i LOVE it when an asian lifter will gut-out a world record lift, then let the weight fall, then bow, and walk off the stage; while a south american, after making a 6th-place lift, slams the bar down, flexes, screams and shouts, jumps up and down, dances, and acts like a chimp
