Being gleeful and cheery no matter what takes a toll on your mental psyche. So big respect to them to be able to dig deep and keep that persona on at all times.
I fully agree! I have witnessed how quickly passengers can become rude and let their frustration out on flight attendants and gate agents. Big respect for staying calm and keeping a positive / professional tone in those stressful conditions!

The footrest function can't be disable. It's just that the system/ interactive panel is sometimes not as sensitive and might not have reacted. Next time try the button at the top right corner, press once ( should gives a short vibration) then hold until it reaches your preferred alignment.
On Oct 7th we flew Phoenix AZ to Cebu Philippines. It was a little strange seeing all 4 airports (Phoenix Skyharbor, Seattle SEATAC, Taipei and Cebu) so empty. And all 3 flights were nearly half capacity. But on the plus side, on the way to Taipei both my wife & I had 3 empty seats to lay down and sleep in. 👍😃
@@mywindowseat sadly no, I didn't get enough usable footage. But we are going to do a interview style video about the experience in the next few days. Also we did a LS right after getting our negative PCR tests that answers a few questions.
