- I’m this video, I will give you some tips and tricks on installing cabinet pulls and knobs. Some stores sell knobs where the stem is already attached and in this case, they were too short. Learn how to easily overcome this by using the technique shown in this video.
If you are doing a large amount of the same type, I highly recommend buying a cabinet pull jig!
As always, thanks for watching!

Ron you are a natural. Enjoyed this and showed hubby, just in case...lol. I would mimic the top two knobs. Will be anxious to see what you do.

Hi there Ron. This is an amazing refurbish. Not sure what you and Sharon would want but leaving it blank looks great because that part is unique. However, whatever yall decide would be awesome. Love Peace and Chicken Grease aaaayyyeeee.
Hello Ron, I would put the knob in the middle. ❤💪🏽😊

I would probably place the knob in the middle of the bottom drawer Ron. Great job overall on the bathroom redo👍🏾
Uh oh…
Good information and great instructions Ron. I would put the knob in the middle of the drawer like the other two. IMO. Have a great week ahead.

Thanks! Very thorough video! Putting blue tape first is a great tip! I was able to write my measurements down so I didn’t forget and have to remeasure 😅
Glad I was able to help! TFW
Good Morning Ron...as always great information. But put that pull in the middle of bottom drawer. Make them look uniform.......

Hey Ron. This is so helpful. I've been working on replacing my cabinet knobs with pulls... and trying to get the measurements right has been driving me crazy, so thanks for this! Btw, I think that last knob would look better if it's closer to the top. Peace & blessings!
Even spaced with the top two.
Great video
Awesome job done 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💛💛💛💫👋🏽💎🦋🇬🇧
👍🏽 , where did you all find the round knobs...luv'em
Wow that was good to know. 👍🏾
Looking good. Because it’s a much bigger draw I would put it in the middle.
Question here .. I have two rocking chairs that I had custom made and had someone paint them a while ago. I want to restore them back to their original look. What do I need to do?
Paint stripper, 80 grit sand paper to remove top layer, 180 grit to smooth out, stain and/or varnish and out a protective coat on.
@@rontalley thank you so much ☺️
@@rontalley So I should sand it first and then strip the paint then sand it again?
I brought one of those stripper tools will that work as well?
@@joycelyn4274 Strip first then sand. Tools are usually quicker but you will still need to manually get those hard to reach areas.
Interesting. I purchased a pack of knobs from HomeGoods to change out the hardware on my bifold doors. I ran into the same problem-the screws were not long enough but were glued into the decorative part. Could I use your fix on my doors, even though they are only one layer?
Yes, you just have to make sure that you do not go all the way through the door. Same concept.
In the middle of the drawer
Why not just buy a jig.
As noted in the description, I highly recommend buying a jig if you are doing a lot of the same. There is measuring involved even with a jig and you still need to know “how” to do it even with a jig. I have three different ones. 👍🏾
