I started playing it like a month ago, it’s the only Build Engine game I’ve actually had the patience to beat. Certainly one of the greatest games of all time and highly underrated.

3:45 If there ever was a way to reboot BLOOD, it truly would be this exact moment in this absolutely amazing remastered mix. I can just imagine it: The dark god who is Tchernobog, the one that was slain by the hands of Caleb, is resurrected by remnants of powerful dark wizards and magicians, willing to give their souls in the name and glory of Tchernobog. Wtih all of their power, devotion and souls, The Dark God's altar bursts into flames and a thundering voice echoes out of the ruined chambers:

You all should check out death wish for blood. It is a modification that pretty much adds three new episodes, with much more various tricks done to engine, despite of using only stuff that was in vanilla. Those episodes are heavily interwinded with Blood 1 & 2's lore and themes.
Sounds awesome. I hope they just reboot Blood 1 with style. Same story, music, sounds and all, but just better. I hope the voice actor is still alive to re-record the lines in HD

Blood was the first FPS I had the opportunity to play on a PC. I remember how much this game marked my life, not only for its violence and its heavy plot, but also for its effects and soundtracks. To this day, it's one of my favorite games of all time and this "Infuscomus" theme is one of the most memorable themes I've ever heard. Congratulations on this excellent version that you produced, as it so exquisitely respects the original version. Sensational!

If someone ever reboots blood I hope they err on the side of making things look fake in a movie practical effects way because it'd be less fun otherwise. Duke had its glossy 3d renders, but Blood actually used model scans like Doom did, giving it that claymation like look. (personally I'd like to see it rebooted without modern graphics as a full voxel retro shooter.)

I loooove blood's aesthetics. It looks like a disturbed, twitchy, bloody claymation.
YES! 100% YES!
Best bet is making it look like it was pulled straight out of that era; the likes of Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, Hellraiser, etc. Replicating that old style of Tom Savini-esque gore and effects. I'd feel that'd be the literal perfect style for any HD remake of Blood, given most of those are where it pulls inspiration from anyways.

I dream of a new Blood game (remake or remaster) that keeps the old, original vibe - and hopefully builds upon it. And you deserve to be the guy who does the soundtrack for it.
I imagine Caleb walking slowly with tears in his eyes towards the gargoyle boss to finish it off with his shotgun, while Ophelia's corpse is burning in the background.
