Yeah you can watch bollywood movie...some of them has subtitles....pl watch the movie 96 vejaysethupati.... ..its so good with 50 million views...if you make a review in movie you can start with it its my request😁
The 'Diya' or the Lighted lamp in this context represents her (Aishwarya Rai) childhood love Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) who is studying abroad. She lit the Diya in the name of Dev and she's looking after it since childhood. Diya represents the fire of love she has for Dev, the love that she would never let go of.

Absolutely no need to apologize. Its fantastic to see our songs being analysed and appreciated by musicians from a different culture . All of us are learning to "see" our music from a different stand point too. Thanks.
Please react to the song DOLA RE DOLA from the same movie Devdas. The choreography was insanely beautiful. It was one of the best and toughest choreography in Indian cinema, presented by two Bollywood legendary actresses, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai. Music wise, the song has a high level energy vibes that makes you wanna dance. Experience it by yourself and you'll be astounded!
omg!!! YESSSS i watched this movie when i was like 7 or 8 y.o and now im 23 and i still listen to DOLA RE DOLA also i cry everytime i remember their story
You've discovered *another* Sanjay Leela Bansali film! 😁 This time Devdas, a film based on a century old Indian novel. This time the female lead, the one in this video, is the 1994 Miss India Runner-Up, Aishwarya Rai, who went on to become Miss World that year. The Miss India winner that year, Sushmita Sen, became Miss Universe. My best guess as to why the Live vs Studio versions differ so much is because the studio versions, as part of the song album for the movie, are sold off to music distributors. So, the live versions have to be different, in order to avoid legal ownership issues.
I Would recommend for you to make Rockstar (2011) your first Bollywood Film to Watch. It's directed by Imtiaz Ali and has the most famous Oscar winning Music Composer of India A.R.Rahman arranging the music. If Not that i would also recommend Gully Boy, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Dil dhadakne Do or Tamasha. These are All movies I feel are 'digestable' enough for your first Bollywood Film, have great Music but also a More familiar to Western storyline. Devdas ,Bajirao, Bahubali and others I feel are too culturally 'heavy' to digest atleast for now . I would'nt recommend Those Films to Non Indian First time watchers. But the ones i mentioned are incredible storytelling with fantastic music and acceasible stories. I hope that explained my point. Feel Free to Comment any pending questions you May have, i am lore than happy to answer them.
You will be mesmerized by every song from this movie . Sanjay Leela bansali is a genius when it comes to music and cinematography. Please checkout these songs from the same movie : Dola re - percussion is just perfect in this song Maar Dala - This song is just magical , I have no words to describe it.
The Nāṭya Śāstra (Sanskrit: नाट्य शास्त्र, Nāṭyaśāstra) is a Sanskrit text on the performing arts. The title of the text is composed of two words, "Nāṭya" and "Śhāstra". The root of the Sanskrit word Natya is Nat (नाट) which means "act, represent". The word Shastra (शास्त्र) means "precept, rules, manual, compendium, book or treatise", and is generally used as a suffix in the Indian literature context, for knowledge in a defined area of practice. The text is attributed to sage Bharata Muni, and its first complete compilation is dated to between 200 BCE and 200 CE, but estimates vary between 800 BCE and 500 BCE. The text consists of 36 chapters with a cumulative total of 6000 poetic verses describing performance arts. The subjects covered by the treatise include dramatic composition, structure of a play and the construction of a stage to host it, genres of acting, body movements, make up and costumes, role and goals of an art director, the musical scales, musical instruments and the integration of music with art performance. The Nāṭya Śāstra is notable as an ancient encyclopedic treatise on the arts, one which has influenced dance, music and literary traditions in India. It is also notable for its aesthetic "Rasa" theory, which asserts that entertainment is a desired effect of performance arts but not the primary goal, and that the primary goal is to transport the individual in the audience into another parallel reality, full of wonder, where he experiences the essence of his own consciousness, and reflects on spiritual and moral questions. The text has inspired secondary literature such as Sanskrit bhasya (reviews and commentaries) such as by the 10th century Abhinavagupta. - Wikipedia Fun fact : there is an ancient temple with musical pillars tuned to the 7 notes tapping on it produce the sounds. Shreya Ghosal took part in a singing reality show at 16 in India and the filmmaker of this movie was searching for the singing voice of this character who was supposed to be innocent and his mother who watched the singing reality show recommended her and he was impressed and gave Shreya her big break...infact all of the songs in this movie from the POV of this character was sung by Shreya herself which was such a huge deal...and Shreya herself was unsure of this job because her High School exams were nearby and that is a much more bigger deal and that time in general is very stressful....so she used to take her books and notes to the recording studio and used to study whenever she got the spare time
A good bollywood movie to watch if you want great music : Rockstar (2011), directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring actors Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri as the main leads, the soundtrack was composed by AR. Rahman and sung by various artists, its considered one of his best works and since you're already familiar with him it can be a good dive into more of his work
Listing out the first film Efra can choose from 1) 'Roja' (Tamil language): Beautifully shot, great soundtrack, AR Rahman's 1st movie (You have heard his songs-Zariya, etc) 2) 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela-Ram Leela': Filmmaker whose song you reacted to here. Every song is a beaut. 3) 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara': More contemporary setting, shot in Spain, good songs, great feel-good film 4) 'Sairat' (Marathi language): Breathtaking songs (western symphony recorded in Hollywood fused with Marathi folk melodies). 5) 'Rangeela': Rahman's first Hindi film, Excellent songs and choreography, fun love story. 6) 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam': Western folk/Indian classical/Western influence songs well shot, Bhansali's film
So interestingly you ended up watching the songs of from the movies directed by same director name Sanjay Leela Bansali. He is know for his elaborate sets and visual extravaganza..you watched Bajirao mastani, laal isq, binte dil. All are produced and directed by the same director,
I'm sooo glad you are finally watching the Bollywood MVS along with the song because it really is another experience and you get to see more of the Indian industry
You're definitely hearing a tabla, but there's also voices doing some beatbox-adjacent work if you listen carefully. In addition, there are some MASSIVE war drums that are used for the harmonic sub-bass as well, and I think at one point there's a pakhawaj as well (but don't quote me on that). As for the orchestration and choreography, Aishwarya is a trained classical dancer and one of the music directors for this movie was Pandit Birju Maharaj, one of THE leading masters of Kathak style of classical Indian dance.
I have been really enjoying your dive into Indian music! Repeating my comment hope you'll forgive. I'd love to have your reactions to the videos where sitar maestro Niladri Kumar explains raag (video name - 'What is a raga') and also the video where he explains Upaj (improvisation) video - 'What is Upaj' in Indian Classical Music. Both videos from the darbar classical music festival channel. Niladri Kumar also gives examples and plays on the sitar as he tries to explain the concepts, and als explains concepts about rhythm in the context of live indian classical music performances wrt percussion and sitar. It's pretty awesome, especially as I know you will enjoy seeing his perspective as a professional classical instrumental musician. I'd also recommend the videos on him playing Raag Bhairavi on the darbar festival, he does a really impressive piece with the late tabla maestro Subhankar Banerjee where they trade off who improvises and who keeps time, according to the principles Niladri explains in his raga and upaj videos! Edited to continue my thoughts on some of the observations in this video. Since almost every singer in the Indian industry has intense training in some school of musc - be it hindustani classical, carnatic classical, folk, etc and all of these schools of music has an extremely important focus on improvisation - for classical, improvisation within the raga/raag you are currently performing, and within the rhythmic structures - the live versions often have the performers going for a lot of improv based on the mood and theme. Esepecially since most film music - be it bollywood, tollywood, mollywood, or any of the other regional film industries (each state in India has their own language, culture, and thus, their own local film industry) has songs that are intensely focused on the timing and context of the movie it is set in. So when performed live, the singers and intrumentalists often enjoy the freedom to go where they want, musically. :) It also has a tradition of classical 'jugalbandi' - a combination of a competition/duet, of two (or more) performers trying to match each other with their respective instruments/vocals!
I reccomend you delve into the devdas soundtrack. Sanjay leela Bhansali is a visionary of indian film and art. If you want something that is combines classical, dance, music, literature and aesthetic. This film will be your muse for understanding India as a cultural and spiritual icon.
Please react to Chaiya Chaiya Song from Dil Se and Hai Rama Song from Rangeela, two of the best songs composed by A R Rahman. The music in these songs are so detailed and a delight to the ears...You will just love it.. 🎧‼
Songs List from Movie "JODHAA AKBAR" *(All songs are in the movie..just for reference) The music of all songs is composed & directed by the legendary 'A R Rahman Sir'. U must watch this movie, u will get to know the depth of Indian classical and contemporary music also influenced by Arabic music ( as the story itself is based on Mughal emperor - Akbar & Rajput Princess - Jodhaa. Hence it represents the influence of Arabic music on Indian classical music) U can take poll to verify the popularity of this movie😅. No one can deny it!✌️ The movie is quite lengthy of 3 hrs 33 min. but it is worth watching it:)🤗 1. Jashn-E-Bahaara (Singer - Javed Ali) ruclips.net/video/4h1WFyOQv0Y/видео.html 2. Awesome reaction!. The flame, or candle, represents hope, desire, and perseverance in many cultures, and certainly in India. In regards to this movie, she kept a candle alive to remind her of her first love. She never let that flame die, through rain, or any other literal or metaphorical adversity. The last stanza in this song is haunting. Chorus : "Look at this girl, she is crazy. She's so naive of the world. A simple gust of wind will blow away this candle" Shreya : " Oh my love. This candle is you. My love. This candle" Chorus : "This chain of desire has never been lit out" Shreya : "Oh my beloved, my beloved" And she's doing sindoor khela (sindoor = vermillion, the red powder) in front of a goddess. So the metaphor is that even the divine blesses her love.
You should react to ghar more pardesiya (10 minute version) and if possible without the thumbnail watermark. Also rockstar is a good movie with an amazing soundtrack and ram leela (Bollywood's adaption of romeo & Juliet) is also an amazing movie with great songs that are a bit more fun
Sherya Goshal and Kavita Krishnamurthy are my very favourite Indian women singers. Undoubtedly flawless. Since I was younger and growing up around them in an Indian family very into music they epitomise the very soul of their genres and styles. Strong, harmonious, controlled and resonant.
The 1955 version of Devdas was starring Dilip Kumar, Vyjyanti Mala and suchitra Sen, although it's a remake the production and take on this particular storyline is widely varied from the first one, in fact nothing is similar in both of these movies. This is an iconic movie as this is actually a movie which is made out of a famous novel called " Devdas" by Sharat Chandra Chattopaadhyaay.
Actually, Aishwarya was in her late 20s, she was about to complete 30 years!! It's amazing how she was able to look that young and beautifull without any plastic surgery (at that time...)
This movie is one of the Bollywood classics. India has plenty of movie industries... We have one for each State in India... Bollywood being the biggest of all. Must watch Bollywood movies you should start with: 3 Idiots Dangal Gully boy (A fantastic Hiphop based film) Padmavat Pink Rockstar Neerja Queen Andhadhun Kahaani PK Swades Chak de India Haider (adaptation of Hamlet) Talvar Baby Piku Bhag milkha bhag And the list goes on... These are primarily mainstream bollywood movies that you can start with and then should slowly delve into the the world of Contemporary Indian movies which are gem of the gems. The world of contemporary cinema in India (combining all the film industries that India has) is underrated but is like a Black hole... Deep, dark, endless and beautiful as India is extremely rich in Culture, Music, Arts, literature, cinema and entertainment.
She was miss world. One of the most beautiful women in the world. Would love to see ur reactions to more indian music videos from movies. Suggestions: Dola re dola from devdas Badtameez dil from yeh jawani hai deewani And chaand sifarish from movie fanah
Watch 'padmavat' as your first bollywood movie. The music, set design, storytelling, cinematography, everything is absolutely beautiful. Sanjay leela bhansali is a magician, he is the same director who directed the movie that the song you're reacting to is in.
This movie is LEGENDARY!! All the songs in this movie are beautiful and the acting is spot on... you guys should consider checking it out!! I won't say much about it, but there were definitely a lot of tears by the end!
Aishwarya Rai often cited as one of the most beautiful women in the world. Shes also a trained kathak dancer. She’s also got lifetime beauty with a purpose (as a former Miss world). India won 2 titles in 1994 the year she was crowned Miss World (Sushmita Sen was also crowned Miss Universe).
Devdas or Bajirao Mastani or Padmavat are movies you should watch. Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat are more recent. Cinematically beautiful are all three. The movie “Kalank” is too, the songs are great only the stories ending was a bit weird for me. Maybe watch a movie you guys have already reacted to its video’s then you will understand it more.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the actress in this song is former Miss World(1994). The actor, Shahrukh Khan is known as king of romance and is the most famous bollywood actor I believe....their acting skills are just wow!! The movie(Devdas) is great you would cry a lot though if you ever plan to watch this.
Hey guys, huge fan of reactions. I love how you guys take time and effort to appreciate each part of the music and video. I've tried to send you guys some links in insta too. Here are some music that are close to me as an NRI. 1. Dola re Dola - beautiful visual, 2 extremely talented singers ( shreya goshal & Kavita Krishnamurthy) , choreography of one of a kind, it is from the same movie 2. Bairi piya - this is a song in this movie too which is the song shreya sang in one take and also recieved her national award for ( national award is a big deal for Indians it could be considered the equalant to the grammy I guess) beautiful composition and texture 3. Hai rama - this has to be one of the most unique and titillating composition of AR RAHMAN sir. The song takes place between a couple and captures there cat and mouse like chase for love. The visual and so good and this song used to be such a vibe and still is. Also just another masterpiece composition of AR Rahman. 4. K S Chitra - I feel disheartened that you have heard to malayalam music and have not come across K S Chitra. She is one of the legendary singers in the industry with so many variety of hits and many recognition. One could say she is the equivalent of a female yesudas. She is a voice that I recommend you guys should try.. P.S. SORRY for such a long message💙. Love you guys and stay safe
The actor dancing in this song is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She was the 1994 miss world winner from India. She is 45 now but looks just the same as in this music video..
All three of the videos you mentioned as show casing a tightly packed and purposeful mastery of visuals (This video, Deewani Mastani and Laal Ishq) are all directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali who is known for his stunning cinematography. You should watch the movie for the song in this video, called Devdas. It’s a stunning film with gorgeous music and was even India’s entry into the Oscars I believe.
Aishwarya Rai is Miss World 1994 and in her peak she was the most beautiful woman in the world and was the face of almost every big magazine. Also, In 2014, she received another award for most beautiful and influential Miss World ever from Miss World Organization themselves.
Bairi Piya is actually the first song she recorded for Devdas and they took the rehearsal round because Shreya was too good in the rehearsal. So they didn't have to do the final recording.
They told her it was just a rehearsal to help her not be nervous as she was 16 years old. Then once they finished and they used it as the final version.
The music composer of the film is the director of the film himself! Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bharadwaj are cinema directors who compose their own music! Their movies would be a good starting for you if you want to experience good music in movies!
Devdas was presented in Cannes 2002(the year it came out),and the Westerners were AMAZED by it,discovering really Bollywood,Bhansali and Ash.Bhansali,SRK and Ash were present there in person and gorgeous Ash was the talk in town 😎 That opened the West really for first time in such a big way for Bollywood and Ash.Ever since then it never stopped... So it was really a big deal-the most expensive Indian movie made in that time.
personal favorite for music for me are barfi and rockstar! 3 idiots is probably one of the best movies bollywood ever made and it has an amazing musical too. i am sure u guys cant go wrong with any of these, i thoroughly enjoyed them multiple times.
It's Sanjay Leela Banshali's movie He is the Master. You must watch his movies. 1.Hum Dil De chuke Sanam 2.Black 3.Devdas 4.Bajirao Mastani 5.Padmavat. 6. SAwaariya 7. Khamoshi 8.Ramleela And many more
This is one of Sanjay Leela Bansali's early movies. Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani also his full of beautiful cinematography and attention to detail. I recommend Ram-Leela great music and a wonderful adaptation of Shakespeare's Rome & Juliet. So great to see you enjoy it.
My first was Baahubali. You could check out Paadmavat, Bajaro Mastani, Devdas (I think that's where this song came from and it came out in 2001 as the remake), Ek Tha Tiger.
Some of the really good Bollywood movies are: -3 idots -Dangal (based on a true story), -Mardaani 2 (no need for the prequel as its a new story) -Pink -Padmaavat -Yeh jawani hai deewani -My name is Khan -Mary Kom -Ae dil hai mushkil -Dhoom 2 (no need for the prequel as its a new story) -Malang -Bajrangi Bhaijan -Raazi -Badla -Good news -Gully boy (based on a true story) -Barfi -Section 375 Telegu movies (Tollywood): -Bahubali 1 & 2 (Must watch. Feel free to pause and read the plot in case you feel lost during the movie as there are many things going on at the same time-especially how the characters are related to each other)
BTW,all the songs from Devdas are dope(except 1 may be).And from the previous movie of Maestro Bhansali-Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam too-check it out! ❤ Also other movies from him-Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat
Candles and flames are often representations of love. So in this movie the flame is her love for someone that she refuses to let die. That's why she was scrambling to protect it from the rain putting it out
Hey guys if you guys are going to watch the first bollywood movie and ur demands are good music with good stories.i have two suggestions for you. First one is 'Rockstar' - it is a love story of a normal musician who wants to be a rockstar and tries to find hardship and pain in his life after looking at life of great musicians and finding pain to be a common factor in all their lives and ends up falling in deep love in the process. The second one is 'Gully boy' - it is about the latest hip-hop culture arising from the slums and streets of India which are hit by poverty and inequality in the society. Both are amazing stories with incredible music.rockstar's music is composed by AR Rahman.I bet you would love both of them.
you guys getting more into bollywood is my favorite thing ever, you have been my favorite reactors for a while now so it's really the best of both wods
One thing to know is that this style of film making where everything is so elaborate, precise , frame perfect, and opulent is what director Sanjay Leela Bhansali specializes in. This isn't completely the norm for Bollywood. But it certainly leaves a big impression.
I just love your reactions. Please react to 'Dola re Dola' from the same movie. It's a masterpiece. ❤️ Also, I love 'Tu hai' from the movie Mohenjo daro as the music is just awesome, being created by A.R. Rahman.

Love your reactions! Please react to other songs from this same movie, they are beautiful and cinematic - this movie this song is from is called Devdas
Im not sure if this was the very first song Shreya recorded, or if it was "Bairi Piya", which is another song from this same film. Either way, the soundtrack to this film was Shreya Ghoshals debut. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted a new fresh voice for the main actress (Aishwarya Rai). Hes one of the biggest directors in bollywood, so this was basically like a dream launch for Shreya. And she immediately started sweeping all the awards for playback singing at that young age
Guys, its from the movie Devdas (bollywood classic). It was released 20 years ago (2002). Every musical performance from this movie is brilliant. Personally my favourite Dola Re Dola (stunning choreografy), you need to react to it. The actress is Aishwarya Rai, Miss World 1994 and considered The most beautiful woman of decade. So I think as 1st bollywood movie to watch Devdas could be a great option)
you guys please react to the other songs from Devdas!!! Please watch Dola Re, Kahe Chhed More and Maar Dala! PLLEAASSEE!!! You're going to absolutely LOVE it!!
Actually the first song of Shreya Ghoshal mam is "Bairi piya" from the same movie 💖This movie was released on 2002 dude 19 years ago 😂 And the songs u r talking about Deewani mastani Laal Ishq This song......this was Directed by legendary director "Sanjay leela bhansali" sir 💖
Please react on shreya goshal's Berkeley "Mere dolna "song which she teaches song brilliantly how to sing e students please react on that that vedio shows her techniques in singing🙏🙏🙏🙏please ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should watch "Aashiqui 2" it's a musical/emotional movie. It was a huge hit (It's a sequal but can be watched directly from 2nd because story is totally different. You will hear Ankit Tiwari, Arijit, shreya's melliflous songs in this movie.) Limited spoiler:- Rahul, a singing sensation, falls in love with Aarohi, a woman who sings in a bar. He tries to help her accomplish her dream of becoming a famous singer. Edit:- Don't forget to share your reviews :)
It makes me so happy to see you guys reacting to this kind of stuff. These were masterpieces of its time. Please react to dola re from the same movie: ruclips.net/video/AX1ro0AJk_I/видео.html It's Shreya’s song with another amazing singer.
They should react to the trailer of Devdas, that short clip itself is a musical masterpiece & would give them goosebumps.
They are least interested in this story .
And also , yeah it’s dramatic but extremely stupid and illogical .
@@ikram1081 And with that mentality India stopped producing literature masterpieces.

Shreya's first song is actually "Bairi Piya" from the same movie. She was awarded national award for the song.
Yes.... U r right. ।!
Yes
Man I love that song. Udit Narayan's part in that song is also just so tight.
oooh yeah you guys should def react to bairi piya
Yaar that song just hits different it is my fav
I'm not indian but I watched Sanjay leela bhansali's movies and all of them are true masterpieces, it's nice to see you admiring his work too❤
His movies are a spectacle for sure but hollow with caricature and no subtlety. I wouldn’t call any of them masterpieces.

So true...especially the last scene...sharukhan made it so real. I remember everyone got so sad and some crying in the theater.
The actress is aishwarya rai. She is former miss world and very popular actress.
Please react to the song DOLA RE DOLA from the same movie Devdas. The choreography was insanely beautiful.
Completely agree💯
Yes omg!
this is it watch rockstar if you are reading this comment the music is insane
And "Rock on" songs are good but movie is average
Rockstar would be perfect 1st watch!!
Actress is Aishwarya Rai.. former miss world.. she has done many more famous movies and songs💗💗❤
You will be mesmerized by every song from this movie . Sanjay Leela bansali is a genius when it comes to music and cinematography. Please checkout these songs from the same movie :
Dola re - percussion is just perfect in this song
Maar Dala - This song is just magical , I have no words to describe it.
Shreya's first recorded Bollywood song is 'Bairi piya'. It's from the same movie...do checkout that one with the video.
Thank you
Shreya was discovered through a TV music contest where she won, and was offered the opportunity to sing in the movie Devdas by the director Bansali.

Fun fact : there is an ancient temple with musical pillars tuned to the 7 notes tapping on it produce the sounds. Google musical pillars of Vittala Temple Hampi.
You should padamavat for music, acting, story, set design.
Or gully boy ( indian mumbai street hip-hop )
Rahman and sung by various artists, its considered one of his best works and since you're already familiar with him it can be a good dive into more of his work
Oh my gosh how beautiful is song Tum ho. Thanks for reminding me about.
personally i didnt like the movie very much. but the film score is unmatched. rahman is magical.
I guess go for “three idiots”as your first movie. It has got a great soundtrack also with a brilliant story.
I don't think so they should go with rockstar
as a movie 3idiots is good but best musical movie would be Rockstar and "Rock on"" songs are good
@@lharshithrao Devdas, Rockstar, Lootera, Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani
lol..3 idiots me great song nhi hai..
@@spotifyloverpk no two songs are great
Listing out the first film Efra can choose from
1) 'Roja' (Tamil language): Beautifully shot, great soundtrack, AR Rahman's 1st movie (You have heard his songs-Zariya, etc)
2) 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela-Ram Leela': Filmmaker whose song you reacted to here. Every song is a beaut.
3) 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara': More contemporary setting, shot in Spain, good songs, great feel-good film
4) 'Sairat' (Marathi language): Breathtaking songs (western symphony recorded in Hollywood fused with Marathi folk melodies).
5) 'Rangeela': Rahman's first Hindi film, Excellent songs and choreography, fun love story.
6) 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam': Western folk/Indian classical/Western influence songs well shot, Bhansali's film
Every song of this movie is a masterpiece
Next react to ''Kaahe Ched Mohe'' from Movie devdas
So interestingly you ended up watching the songs of from the movies directed by same director name Sanjay Leela Bansali. He is know for his elaborate sets and visual extravaganza..you watched Bajirao mastani, laal isq, binte dil. All are produced and directed by the same director,
U r watching the most beautiful woman alive Aishwarya rai, no one will ever come close to her beauty
She's insanely gorgeous 💜❤️💜
It also has a tradition of classical 'jugalbandi' - a combination of a competition/duet, of two (or more) performers trying to match each other with their respective instruments/vocals!
I reccomend you delve into the devdas soundtrack. Sanjay leela Bhansali is a visionary of indian film and art. If you want something that is combines classical, dance, music, literature and aesthetic. This film will be your muse for understanding India as a cultural and spiritual icon.
Devdas music album is one of my favorite ❤️❤️
They need to first watch the Devdas trailer, oh they're gonna get FLABBERGASTED by SRK & the music in that trailer.
"Guzaarish" movie got some of the most beautiful music (with every scene),on point
Great music...
Please react to Chaiya Chaiya Song from Dil Se and Hai Rama Song from Rangeela, two of the best songs composed by A R Rahman. The music in these songs are so detailed and a delight to the ears...You will just love it.. 🎧‼
Yes yes yes
i cried my heart out when i first watched this movie
Dancing and music in sync.
Then you should watch classical Indian dance forms like Barathanatyam, Kathak etc.
There are many many good movies:
1. LAGAAN / music composer AR Rehman
2. DEVDAS / music composer Ismail Darbar
Songs List from Movie
"JODHAA AKBAR"
*(All songs are in the movie..just for reference)
The music of all songs is composed & directed by the legendary 'A R Rahman Sir'. U must watch this movie, u will get to know the depth of Indian classical and contemporary music also influenced by Arabic music ( as the story itself is based on Mughal emperor - Akbar & Rajput Princess - Jodhaa. Hence it represents the influence of Arabic music on Indian classical music)
U can take poll to verify the popularity of this movie😅. No one can deny it!✌️
The movie is quite lengthy of 3 hrs 33 min. but it is worth watching it:)🤗

If you can't determine the sound whether it's a vocal or instrumental, then think how skilled and magical it is.... 😄❤️
A simple gust of wind will blow away this candle"
Shreya : " Oh my love. This candle is you. My love. This candle"
Chorus : "This chain of desire has never been lit out"
Shreya : "Oh my beloved, my beloved"
And she's doing sindoor khela (sindoor = vermillion, the red powder) in front of a goddess.
Must watch Bollywood movies you should start with:
3 Idiots
Dangal
Gully boy (A fantastic Hiphop based film)
Padmavat
Pink
Rockstar
Neerja
Queen
Andhadhun
Kahaani
PK
Swades
Chak de India
Haider (adaptation of Hamlet)
Talvar
Baby
Piku
Bhag milkha bhag
And the list goes on...
Suggestions:
Dola re dola from devdas
Badtameez dil from yeh jawani hai deewani
And chaand sifarish from movie fanah
Miss world
Miss universe 😂😂🤣🤣
Watch 'padmavat' as your first bollywood movie. The music, set design, storytelling, cinematography, everything is absolutely beautiful. Sanjay leela bhansali is a magician, he is the same director who directed the movie that the song you're reacting to is in.
This movie is LEGENDARY!! All the songs in this movie are beautiful and the acting is spot on... you guys should consider checking it out!! I won't say much about it, but there were definitely a lot of tears by the end!
Devdas is the best movie in bollywood history for me, i still cry my eyes out every time i watch it and the music in it is so so beautiful
All the songs and their choreos in this movie will blow you away. Devdas has some amazing music videos, even though the movie is almost 20 years old.
Devdas or Bajirao Mastani or Padmavat are movies you should watch. Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat are more recent. Cinematically beautiful are all three. The movie “Kalank” is too, the songs are great only the stories ending was a bit weird for me.
Maybe watch a movie you guys have already reacted to its video’s then you will understand it more.
dont watch Kalank movie 😂😂🤣🤣
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the actress in this song is former Miss World(1994).
The actor, Shahrukh Khan is known as king of romance and is the most famous bollywood actor I believe....their acting skills are just wow!! The movie(Devdas) is great you would cry a lot though if you ever plan to watch this.
The thing that keeps me coming back to this song is the arrangement, the choreography, and THE CLAPS
Hey guys, huge fan of reactions. I love how you guys take time and effort to appreciate each part of the music and video. I've tried to send you guys some links in insta too.
Here are some music that are close to me as an NRI.
1. Dola re Dola - beautiful visual, 2 extremely talented singers ( shreya goshal & Kavita Krishnamurthy) , choreography of one of a kind, it is from the same movie
2. Bairi piya - this is a song in this movie too which is the song shreya sang in one take and also recieved her national award for ( national award is a big deal for Indians it could be considered the equalant to the grammy I guess) beautiful composition and texture
The composer for Devdas was Ismail Darbar. SLB started composing music for his films later.
Aashiqui 2, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Rockstar are some of the movies which have top tier music
Katyar Kalajat Ghusali - a Marathi movie (musical play turned into a play)
It's Sanjay Leela Banshali's movie
He is the Master. You must watch his movies.
1.Hum Dil De chuke Sanam
2.Black
3.Devdas
4.Bajirao Mastani
5.Padmavat.
6. SAwaariya
7. Khamoshi
8.Ramleela
And many more
Just react to-"mohe rang do laal" by shreya ghosal.
Its a complete masterpiece with deepika as the cherry on top.
Some of the really good Bollywood movies are:
-3 idots
-Dangal (based on a true story),
-Mardaani 2 (no need for the prequel as its a new story)
-Pink
-Padmaavat
-Yeh jawani hai deewani
-My name is Khan
-Mary Kom
-Ae dil hai mushkil
-Dhoom 2 (no need for the prequel as its a new story)
-Malang
-Bajrangi Bhaijan
-Raazi
-Badla
-Good news
-Gully boy (based on a true story)
-Barfi
-Section 375
Telegu movies (Tollywood):
-Bahubali 1 & 2 (Must watch.
Thw title track of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is sublime
I agree Waleska, it’s one the best uses of set designing and so intentional on the choreography and cinematography and costumes
you guys getting more into bollywood is my favorite thing ever, you have been my favorite reactors for a while now so it's really the best of both wods
One thing to know is that this style of film making where everything is so elaborate, precise , frame perfect, and opulent is what director Sanjay Leela Bhansali specializes in. This isn't completely the norm for Bollywood. But it certainly leaves a big impression.
The man really knows n feels music unlike other reaction channel... ❤️🇮🇳
"She" is Miss World thought (1994).... She is really really really beautiful ❤️.. Aishwarya Rai is the crush of two generations 🔥
Sheershah movie is awesome and music is outstanding.
Amazing but not great
this is one of the best production of bollywood in terms of direction, story, music, acting, cinematography everything
If you are understand the language then you understand this song originally how beautiful it is♥️♥️
That's our traditional way of dancing, even in any college event students can prepare for such dance on their own.
React on the song
song: barso re
composer : A.R.Rahman, the ultimate god of music
movie: Guru
singer: Shreya Ghosal
Kahe chede from Devdas is a must... its pure in its form with brilliant dance choreography...
I just love your reactions. Please react to 'Dola re Dola' from the same movie. It's a masterpiece. ❤️ Also, I love 'Tu hai' from the movie Mohenjo daro as the music is just awesome, being created by A.R. Rahman.
Mausam ney lee angdaayi aayi aayi
The weather stretches
Lehraake barkha phir chaayi chaayi
The rain is creating ripples and its covering all
Jhoka hawa kaa aayega aur yeh diya buj jaayega
There will be a gust of wind and this lamp shall be extinguished
Silsila yeh chaahat ka na maine bujhne diya (x2)
I haven't let our love (here the lamp is symbolizes it) extinguish
Oh piya yeh diya naa bujha hai naa bujhega
Oh Beloved, this lamp hasn't extinguished nor it will be extinguished
Mere chaahat ka diya, mere piya, ab aaja re mere piya
This is the lamp of my desire, My beloved, Come to me now, My beloved
Oh mere piya ab aaja re mere piya (x2)
Oh My beloved, Come to me now, My beloved
Is diye sang jal raha mera rom rom rom aur jiya
With this lamp each part of my body is burning, and so is my heart
Ab aaja re mere piya oh mere piya ab aaja re mere piya
Come to me now, Oh My beloved, Come to me now, My beloved
Faasla tha doori thi, faasla tha doori thi
There was a distance, hence there was a separation
Tha judaai kaa aalam intezaar mein nazrein thi
The atmostphere was of detachment and my eyes were waiting
Aur tum wahan the tum wahan the tum wahan the
And You were there, You were there
Jhilmilaatey jagmagaatey khushiyon mein jhoom kar
Shining, sparkling, swaying happily
Aur yahan jal rahe the hum (x2)
And here I was burning
Phir se baadal garja hai garaj garaj ke barsa hai
Once again the clouds have started thundering, after thundering they
are showering rain
Ghoom ke toofan aaya hai par tujhe bujha nahin paaya hai
Even the hurricane came along, but it couldn't extinguish your quench
Oh piya yeh diya chaahe jitna satay tujhe yeh saawan
Oh beloved this lamp, even if this rain troubles You
Yeh hawa aur yeh bijliyaan
So do these winds and lightining
Oh mere piya ab aaja re mere piya (x2)
Oh My beloved, Come to me now, My beloved
Dehko yeh pagli deewani duniya se hai yeh anjaani
Look at this crazy girl, who is unaware of the world
Jhoka hawa ka aayega aur iska piya sang laayega
A gust of wind shall come and take away her Beloved
Oh piya ab aaja re mere piya
Oh My beloved, Come to me now, My beloved
Silsila yeh chaahat ka na maine bujhne diya
I haven't let our love (here the lamp is symbolizes it) extinguish
Oh piya yeh diya
Oh beloved, this lamp
Silsila yeh chaahat ka na maine bujhne diya
I haven't let our love extinguish
Oh piya yeh diya
Oh beloved, this lamp
Aye piya piya piya
O Beloved
*Devdas*
*First movie was in :- 1934*
*First remake:- 1955*
*Second remake:- 2002*
*Mine favorite is 1955 version* ❤
Actually the first song of Shreya Ghoshal mam is "Bairi piya" from the same movie 💖This movie was released on 2002 dude 19 years ago 😂
And the songs u r talking about
Deewani mastani
Laal Ishq
This song......this was Directed by legendary director "Sanjay leela bhansali" sir 💖
Please react on shreya goshal's Berkeley "Mere dolna "song which she teaches song brilliantly how to sing e students please react on that that vedio shows her techniques in singing🙏🙏🙏🙏please ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Should watch Dola Re Dola from Devdas also. Became the most iconic bollywood dance scene.
You should watch "Aashiqui 2" it's a musical/emotional movie. It was a huge hit (It's a sequal but can be watched directly from 2nd because story is totally different. You will hear Ankit Tiwari, Arijit, shreya's melliflous songs in this movie.)
Limited spoiler:- Rahul, a singing sensation, falls in love with Aarohi, a woman who sings in a bar. He tries to help her accomplish her dream of becoming a famous singer.
Edit:- Don't forget to share your reviews :)
This beautiful girl is an Indian actress and the winner of the Miss World 1994 pageant.
You should watch Bahubali for the best musical experience in a movie 🔥
Composed by the legend M M Keeravani 🔥
'Rockstar' - (name of the movie) would be perfect for music standpoint of view to be the first movie. The music composer is A.R. Rehman actually
It makes me so happy to see you guys reacting to this kind of stuff. These were masterpieces of its time. Please react to dola re from the same movie: ruclips.net/video/AX1ro0AJk_I/видео.html
It's Shreya’s song with another amazing singer. You will love the cinematography and fun fact: it was shot in one take
This song was composed for the 2002 remake. Every version of the movie has its own songs even if the movie itself is remade.
