    This was such a great day. I'm glad that the three of us got to enjoy Wat Bo together.

    That was nice to see the Wat Bo temple, its was informative and yes needs a renovations project but i doubt it will happen anytime sooner.
    The street there seems much more quiet then Thailand and also more cleaner with pavements.

    SE Asia has amazing temples and gardens. I'll try tuning my car radio to that station 😂

    That's an incredible property. It would be a completely different experience visiting it at night, I can only imagine the spiritual activity there then.

    Wat means temple in Khmer, hence Angkor Wat. A little knowledge gained from a research paper on Cambodian history in college. Also, Koh means island. So any time you see Koh, it's island. Haha. Love the iconic Khmer Naga (believe it's called Neak in Khmer). Incredibly unique and beautiful.

      Thanks for the info! Yes they say, wat, pagoda and monastery here for temple.
      Fun fact for you about “Koh” is pronounced more like “goh” in Khmer 😊❤️
      The more we learn in Cambodia, the more we love it here 🙌🏽😊❤️

      @@franclyspeakingWhen Cambodian names are written in Roman alphabets they are spelled phonetically based on French. So here’s a quick tip.
      K = French K (soft English K)
      Kh = English K
      P = French P (soft P)
      Ph = English P
      T = French T (soft T)
      Th = English T (not English Th sound)
      Ch = Soft English J
      Chh = English Ch
      and so on.
      Cambodians also don’t pronounce the word ending like in English. It is implied that something is there. You’ll notice this when they speak English.
      Koh = Kohh (like in LOSS with a French K (soft K) not KO like most visitors pronounce it.
      Kampot = Kom-Pote (French K and French P), not Cam-Pot
