I’m not an Eagles fan but I like watching u guys alot and the players u guys have are awesome. anytime I watch Nick cover the Eagles his takes are not only wrong but he has like a personal vendetta against them and I have never seen him give credit to them ever it’s quite funny his bias hatred towards them clouds his judgement on unbiased takes towards them. I don’t see any scenario where the Eagles abandon the run. I do think they start the game throwing a little more than they have for most of the season but they will get right back to pounding it with Saquon. I think a big pass or two on the opening drive will set the table for Saquon going off.
2022 KC defense was better than 2024 imo. This one struggled against the likes of Aidan O’Connell and other current and future backup QBs and dominated a weaponless Brock Purdy. I looked at every chiefs game this season and crunched the numbers. The 100 yard rusher stat is very misleading, opponents average 19 rushes per game split by 2-5 rushers, they seemed to fall into a trap of trying to be Mahomes at QB basically and throw 40 times a game. And actually only narrowly lost most of those. In the playoffs, their run defense has been average giving up 150 yards per game. This may be the worst chiefs team to make the Super Bowl. Mahomes has not been great this season, he’s basically been 2023 Jalen Hurts with 7 fewer fumbles but also 10 fewer TDs. The takes seem purely on past reputation rather than current performance and I say again Mahomes turns the ball over a lot in Super Bowls more often than not. Keep in mind the QBs he got away with that against were Jimmy G and Brock Purdy. Brady made them pay and the only game he didn’t turn it over was against the 2022 Eagles who couldn’t get pressure on him and were notorious for not being able to hold up in coverage when that happened. Different back 7 now. Birds definitely have a shot to win and the defense will be the key.

If the Chiefs didn't have massive luck in multiple games, they'd have been 11-6 this year too. Saquon, as INCREDIBLE as he’s been this year, is actually not the engine of the offense.. he breaks those runs as a function of the WRs, TEs and QB (as a runner) and OL.. and the WRs aren’t the engine, they’re a function of those other pieces, same with the TE, same with the QB.. there’s no way you can be right for 60min.. it’s just that because you have that OL, and all of those skill positions and the QB as a power runner and decision maker at the line of scrimmage.. there’s just no way to play the situations correctly.. the Eagles offense is happy when you dictate to them the way to play.. because they have answers to every question.. “oh, you’re playing us this way? Cool, we’ll go that way… oooh now you’re playing us that way, cool, we’ll go this way”.. their defense is similar in that way.. every piece is given freedom and leverage because of every other piece.. and that’s why this team is a full organization, because those are all functions of Howie and Jeff too.. but still gotta play the actual game and execute on the field.. let’s go!! 🦅🦅🦅
