    Beautiful work. I really like the idea of picking a theme. The GRIIIx I bought last year is beginning to gather dust but your video has inspired me to get out and start shooting more 🙂

    Another great video. Have you considered creating a video on how to create a photo book?

    • @joeredski
      @joeredski  3 месяца назад

      Thank you, John. That's an interesting question, I haven't. Simply because I haven't made any photo books. But I will research it and consider it for a future video.

      @@joeredski Hard to imagine you haven’t created any books yet; your content is worthy of it. I ask because this is at the top of my own mind as a street photographer. I think each of us just knows when the time is right for taking that next step. Wouldn’t you agree?

      @@johnhoey7717 Thank you very much John. That's very kind of you to say and I do agree with you about it being the next step. I've made a downloadable zine with Canva. But I don't think that qualifies as a book. I will definitely look into this. Can you recommend any good book creating websites / software?

    can you really tell people how to be a successful street photographer with such a small following?

    • @joeredski
      @joeredski  6 месяцев назад +2

      As someone who is passionate about street photography and has been practicing it for seven years, I've learned a great deal about what makes a compelling body of work.
      The video's content is based on the practices of successful street photographers and the insights I've gained through my experience, research, and observations within the street photography community and researching historical street photographers.
      Many famous and successful street photographers have become successful through creating projects. That they have all created interesting and specific projects which have become popular, culturally and historically, and have propelled them into success as photographers.
      The concept of working on projects is universal that applies to many creative fields, not just street photography.
      My goal is to encourage and inspire viewers to pursue their passion and provide them with a valuable strategy for improving their work and finding fulfillment in their creative endeavors.
      Success can also be measured in terms of personal satisfaction with your own work, not just fame or popularity. I hope that by sharing this information, I can help others develop a body of work they admire, regardless of their current following or recognition in the field.
