Really nice shot at 5:01. I did a fair amount of day and night street photography at San Diego Comic Con last week (I called it my “nerd safari”) and overall was much happier with the photos I took at night.

I enjoy using frames and it can add a lot to a photo. It can also act as a crutch and be the only interesting thing in many photos where it is used.

Another thought provoking, well made video Joe, thank you! One thing I noticed about this video is how well you've blended the music volume on your transitions. The volume remains the same through out regardless of whether you're speaking or playing a musical bit. I really dislike a video that I have to turn down every time music is being played during a transition or during an intro/outro. You've probably always done it this way but I really noticed it today for some reason. :)

I use subframing in my photography quite a bit.

Really excellent video, both in explaining things during your walk, and in providing all of the settings. I had one question- for the lower ISO limit of 800, is this set higher than the default so that there is less variability between the lower and higher ISO values? Why not leave the lower limit at 100?

That's pretty close to the settings I use. I use a lower shutter speed of 1/30 of a second. I was at the county fair last night trying to capture the motion in the rides and was still getting sharp photos at 1/8 of a second. I was amazed!

I been a night shift worker since 1996, so during my meal breaks at work I get out with the camera. In Lightroom the Denoise feature has been a great help with both higher ISO and cinematic style night photos.

Going by the images in your video it's fair to say that you have nailed it.

Perfect timing, I've been trying to shoot the daily flight of bats and couldn't get the settings right yet😂

Nice video Joe. Had a Tenba DNA 13 for about a year now, which is a fantastic bag but seriously thinking of looking to drop down a level. Currently carry an X-T5, 27, 33 & 50mm lenses and a mighty Ricoh GRiii. There's more than enough room for spare battery for each camera, air blower and brush, lens wipes, dinner and a bottle of water but I really want to try and take just the Ricoh and the Fuji plus maybe one lens each time I go out but that's proving difficult to choose. Will try and get a look at the DNA 9, which might just fit the bill if it can still carrry sandwiche and a drink. If you can, ditch the SD card holder and you'll save a good bit of space. Keep on posting.

I tend to carry less since no video. Camera and 35 or 28 with probably a 50 just in case. I think the only thing I have which you don't is obviously not applicable to you. I carry an extra lens rear cap and body cap. Well, I do also have a sharpie I guess but that's a film hold over

always fun to see a "what's in my bag", my only issue with the Wandrd 6L is that I can only fit two lenses 😆

Disability is tough - I used to shoot a lot of street photography, but I now have osteoarthritis in my feet and walking around can get quite painful at times. However, in spite of your difficulties, you make some great videos, and I really appreciate your efforts.
