Thumbs Up 👍, beautiful shots! You are blessed if you live in a city, that does offer small individual shops with interesting windows, old streets with cobblestones and yellow lighted lanterns. Unfortunately modern cities does rarely offer such cinematic scenes but show their standardized, clean and sometimes cold surfaces enlighted by cold white LEDs. So i Hope for Christmas to come with all its coloured lights... I really enjoy your vids including the music in the background and your story telling. Thanks for putting a lot of time into it just to share your tips and ideas with us. God bless you.

Very inspiring, thanks! The contrast between the dull colored videos and the lively colored photos makes your point well. It is November here on the continent, it is as overcast as in UK and I will bring out my old Lumix GF1, looking for scenes in this old, beautiful little town.

So for the same effect on a full frame camera, are we talking f/4.5?

Great images Joe! I photograph on gray days as well. The best gray photos for me are at the shore in winter.
