I love it when people mention “you can’t even do corn laws” here’s me 300 hours in never seen or heard of what that even is in the game Edit * hadn’t even seen the vid yet and he mentioned corn laws first thing Jesus Christ
Didn't watch the whole thing yet, but felt like your phase 4 and summary of the economic phases was so spot on, never put these thoughts on paper but you hit like 90% of what was boiling inside my head and added more just in that section. Feels really strange to see ruining the efficiency of a game mechanic (investment pool) as one of the most efficient ways to play. Definitely something for Paradox to think about in the future. Just that last section of the video convinced me to watch the whole thing later. Cheers!
Yeah, I'm thinking of doing a much more expanded video series on the phases soon, but tbh the "5 things NOT to DO!" type videos do better than the deep dives
A little info on Publicly traded for Agriculture on Vic3 1.3: After researching the technology, you need to pass the law Commercialised Agriculture under Land reform to use Publicly traded, the law will automatically switch all agriculture to it.
I enjoy your content. I'm still learning an I feel like you provide the best instruction. My only feedback is you move a bit fast for me while I'm trying to pick up concepts. Please keep it up.
command economy has always been in a weird spot - from bureaucrats ownership (worthless) to being super inefficient in the late game (the only time you can get it)
I feel like I answered this on another video in response to you specifically? If not lmk and I'll give a response. Just doing rounds trying to respond to/acknowledge every comment
@@generalistgaming Hopefully. I did some research in my last run to answer the question and you can proc the event if any interest group (probably Trade Unionists or Armed Forces) fulfills some requirements: at least one of these: 15% + in government bolstered and has a Communist, Vanguardist or Anarchist leader. The only way I am currently aware of is to roll a general/admiral. It will be intersting to see if there are any agitators to make this less rng based and how you can upgrade an agitator to interest group leader. Prussia already has one with Karl Marx, so this is technically already embedded into the game.
I double checked this and kinda don't like that they just nerfed the Mosque, instead of New York too. Though, I think this nerf might be a bug - they also updated the nation modifiers UI
Idk if you have a video on space marines, but is it worth putting a lot of my barracks in unincorporated states or not so much? Also if you could pronounce Oranje as Oranya I will marry you (had to ask as a South African)
@@generalistgaming take me to them I will fight them. J is a y sound in Afrikaans and Dutch, and the e is a short vowel so it sounds closer to an English "a". Just a little victoria 3 world tip, hope this helps
PDX failing hard by slowly down game progression in a game that requires so much micromanagement if the economy and runs so poorly you never get far enough to achieve the stuff they bump back
I mean, to be fair, I think some of the nuance of this would be lost on a beginner, and I think that a more advanced player should be able to comfortably hit 1.5b GDP as most starts (although I could be mistaken here)
land owers taking down by been kicked by change of production system like workers been kicked off the same way should make revolution and strikes, witch its laking in the game, lacking of bth things its like a constant exploit where you are constatly making schock therapy changes
@@generalistgaming there's no indication of achieving singling like what I'm calling. It's not horse shit but the game have still holes deeper than only countries content. Dislike vic2 strikes must be a main part of game in the way they developed it.
CORRECTIONS:
Meant to say the GDP IPT malus was from 1.1 to 1.2, NOT 1.2 to 1.3, but it took a lot of 1.2 for me to develop my thoughts on it.

Great video! Really in-depth discussion of many systems and concepts that cause people problems. Kind of like a V3 guide for advanced players :D
Glad you enjoyed it!

I've seen quite a few screenshots where people are like "this is the best!" and then their GDP is like 300m and I'm like "yeah, that's why."
Which states should I incorporate, and which states should I not?

@@generalistgaming You did answer the same question in other video.
I asked again because I thought you missed the earlier questions. Sorry.
Is there a way to consistently proc the path to socialism or to proc more vanguards and communads in General?
I think it will probably be a lot easier w/ the new agitators mechanic.

Wait, someone told me that my pronunciation was wrong when I was saying it (kinda) like that and told me it was this way to pronounce it xD

They are updating revolutions a little bit in Monday's patch, so there's that.

The only way to respond to this comment is to confirm your thesis.
