Fast one aren't ya?
Probably already made at 95%, just waiting for the dead god reveal to finish the video.
NOT MY LORD GORUM!!
Does Ooga sleep?
The trick is editing videos while unconscious.
My Goblin heart skipped a beat; lol, all good though
I voted for Lamashtu, but personally I'm hoping for a more morally ambiguous Lamashtu in the future. A beacon for all disfigured outcasts and monsters in Golarion!
@@KingOogaTonTon That would be cool yeah.
LAMASHTU LIVES!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEES
Admittedly if you've been playing Starfinder, you had sort of an inside track. Some Gods were still around while some others were noteably missing. So crossreferencing with that, you could definitely shorten the list of possible suspects, though you'd probably still have a handful of possibilities.
I can now rest easy knowing that the divine sapphic polycule remains unharmed.
0:59 "Erastil - Hillbillies (in a good way)"
that is surprisingly a well fitting description
I feel like Gorum was the natural choice. Our Lord in Iron will die in glorious battle. I feel like it's something he would have wanted.
Okay, I'm either going to ignore Gorum's death, or have one of his followers take the test of the Star-Stone and take on the Mantle of the War-God in his place. Because dammit, I like having a pure God of War in Golarion.
Well they previewed one god coming in Divine Mysteries, their name escapes me and I can’t remember what they said about their purview, but they’re a sapient sword so I assume they’ll have some sort of connection to war and battle.
there was a mention of a god-sword in there
There's a new war god coming in the tian xia book
Don't know much but he's got three flaming heads
I think we should hold our breath to see what happens. It seems like if anything, this will put war MORE in the centerpiece, meaning there might be plenty of options for war-worshipping characters coming in the next couple of books. Maybe one of the other 19 deities goes battle-crazy, for example.
@@KingOogaTonTon there's a new war god coming in the Tian Xia books, and Szuriel the Horseman of War is on the cover of War of Immortals, so she'll likely be important as well
Poor Amiri
Ooh, I hadn't hear about the playtest yet
It's honestly just as exciting as the god reveal for me. Especially because I love low-magic classes (assuming that's what they are).
commander most likely gonna be based on starfinder envoy class. very aura support to buff/weaken allies or enemies. yes marshal exist but thats an archetype which will restrict ppl that want to play a certain style.
aka a hype person class.
I don’t think envoy and commander will be that closely related, because Paizo wants classes from pf2e and sf2e to be unique. Envoy is also charisma based, at least in sf2e, while commander is supposed to be int based
@@KajtekBeary Yeah I'm expecting a less passive class, not aura based but with situational "orders" and tactics instead. So additional free actions, control, that kind of stuff.
So this from a Twitter post but it’s confirmed in plot by paizo what’s the commander class focus is. By account name cheezeofages.
“The commander is a martial support class that can issue commands to her allies, granting them extra movement, actions, reactions, and more. The guardian is an armored tank, who can taunt opponents and maximize [armor].” But yeah commander maybe not like envoy but some similarities. Also for sure seems it’s s base class version of the marshal archetype based on that and what others said.
@@dungeonmaster16 the biggest difference so far is that commander is int based, while both envoy and marshal are cha based
Abadar would have been cool. The god of trade and civilization dying...what would that even mean?
That would be a cool alternate history! It would definitely make the world more wild and dangerous.
Cool
I just learned about Gorum and now he is dead (well, really he was dead when I choose to learn about him, but details).
Seems a little suspicious if you ask me...
I really enjoy how the Godsrain & War of the Immortals is going to affect things broadly. The next handful of announced APs/modules are all dealing with the lead up or ramifications of this event; and we're getting more after those. Its not just a one time thing, it'll have lasting impact.
I agree, and I actually like how the announced APs are not super on-the-nose like a bunch of divine-themed ones. They're basically regular APs- but now that this event will happen, they'll affect all these different parts of Golarion that the APs take place in.
I am very upset about this news
Thanks
Thanks for the recap
You bet!
Don't kill the mother of monsters. How will we get our monster waifu harem without her!?
Crom. Gorum doesn't exist.
Oh well, all my favs survived.
RIP
Damn, I was thinking they were gonna off Iomeade or Calistra since the replacement “god” is Arazni.
oh great @KingOogaTonTon please make a video about counteracting for rookies, if you already have made it please tell.
Im sad that iomedae didnt bite the Dust but at least they get rid of a total meaningless Deity like Gorum ;) Finally no more Focus on War Campaigns :P
You should do the official art for deities
NIce🎉
Interesting move by Paizo.
However I am not using the Remastered rules so I won't be using any lore from any book post Treasure Vault.
Therefore Gorum lives!
OH NO GORUM oh who am i kidding no one liked that guy
i liked gorum :(
@@vlay7276 Gorum likers rise up!
@@devcrom3 BLOOD FOR GORUM!
@@everett910 Gore for the gore throne!
Gorum was fun :(
GOOOOOORUM!!!!!!
I never played a campaign in Golarion, mostly my version of Eberron.
No one asked.
@@devcrom3 Who asked for your input?
I didn't ask, but I'm glad you shared! Eberron was the most interesting of D&Ds settings to me, behind Spelljammer (shame the 5e release of the latter was malnourished)
@@numimio Not you, I assume.
asmoDEus. It's asmoDEus, with the stress on the third syllable. I really don't know where asMOdeus got started
Things change.
@@FacebookAunt Okay, but it's a public domain name. This would be like if people randomly decided it's pronounced DEmeter. As far as I can tell, asMOdeus originated with Gary Gygax offering either pronunciation
@@justineberlein5916 ruclips.net/video/JCGuSGFaUMs/видео.htmlsi=qJtL_BMMcZ0zHDUK people have different ways of speaking.
@@justineberlein5916 ruclips.net/video/_Mbxe33BYW8/видео.html vs "Rock me, Asmodeus" XD
@@justineberlein5916 Asmodeus is actually from the bible. In hebrew it's Ashmedai. It's a demon that attacks this Jewish woman called Sarah, and kills all her husbands before her wedding night. Then the angel Raphael helps her next groom, Tobit to expell the demon and protect him and the two get to marry. But you pronounce it correctly!
Ofcourse it had to be my favorite god. OFCOURSE IT HAD TO BE.
