Upcycle Leftover resin Into a Razor Handle

- Letting leftover tinted surfboard resin cure in containers is a pretty big waste. So rather than have it go to waste in containers I decided to scrape the resin into some molds to make wood-turning blanks. I then wanted to see if I could turn it into some usable safety razor handles.

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked on them definitely something I want to do more of. I'm pretty lucky to have a space as small as it is, some how im making it work but filming is a challenge as the camera is up against the wall most of the time.
As a woodworker and surfboard builder I appreciate this. 🤙🏼
Its was a lot of fun to make, if you have access to a lathe its worth giving a try.

P.S. Just recently pulled off a "legit" bottom turn in my last sesh. I'm spending most of my time "outside" now compared to floundering around on the inside white water. Had a late season starting with a sesh at Summerville on the tail end of hurricane Earl but haven't stopped since. Turning out to be one of my best seasons with the most progress yet. You may even see me up your way in an upcoming season surfing some moderate conditions like 3-5ft when I get a little bit better. I have to make sure that bottom turn wasn't a fluke and replicate it a few more times...lol! With the mild fall we've been having I'm hoping to get out in November for my 1st November session ever! If I do, ( I'm hoping it will be this Sunday, Nov 6 ) I'm gonna get it on video so you and others can see where I stand on my surf progression. Take care...

Sounds like your starting to progress quite a bit since last time you posted a video. Hopefully you can get a couple sessions in before the winter hits.
