And when you introduced the other ladies as being beginners too that was very encouraging. I loved how you did the instructions with step by step. It was exactly what I was looking for. Wonderful! This is the painting I'm going to do for my class next Tuesday. It's whatever we want and it will be entered into a show at our local community college, a contest of sorts. I learned so much watching this tutorial and I think I can finish this in two hours.

Jahnavi Badrinarayanan use a combination of cadmium red light, magenta and white. That should be a pretty pink shade. Add more white for lighter shades.

wondering if it would not be easier to paint the background fully first and then draw the flower in chalk?
