But then I turned on Fox news and they were already talking about it. After a few minutes I checked back and that quick, both CNN & MSNBC had switched to live broadcasts as the story unfolded and I spent the rest of the day glued to the TV.

Kobe didn't see Shaq work as hard as him so he confronted him about it and Shaq felt some type of way. If only Shaq had the same work ethics as Kobe and willing to take the Robin to Batman role, they would've won 5-7 championships easy.
Shaq was far more dominant than Kobe was, if Kobe had passed ball more they would have won at least 4 or 5 championships, but Kobe always wanted to be the man and he never was when compared to shaq.

I remember Kobe taking double and even triple teamed circus shots all through the 2000s and getting so much praise for making about 40% of them, at most. Meanwhile Lebron was making the simple pass to facilitate the simple bucket when defenses would collapse in on him. But I guess 1 on 5 basketball is more impressive than 5 on 5 to some people
