- Опубликовано: 25 авг 2024
- Kobe Bryant shares his sacrifices and dedication to the game and how aging has affected his workouts. Bryant tells about being able to mimic NBA Hall of Famer, Hakeem Olajuwon's “dream shake.” Bryant studied basketball cards to learn the intricacies of players' moves. This desire to perfect his game led Bryant to have a dedicated balance between basketball and his social life. Bryant explains that his sacrifice meant that he wouldn’t be giving up anything, but would be gaining something from it.; taped in 2012

Good Man ikr
It’s a tv show
So true
How does he get these big celebs
Yes. I miss him too
I think Kobe would have been successful without basketball. He's very intelligent.
awaiting for kobe to prove that part as a venture capitalist. really really lookin forward to wat kobe accomplishes in this field a decade later.
yes and he is going into the tech arena as well when it comes to stocks
so here is the blasphemous question. Who is more intelligent, Kobe or Jordan? I am going to say Kobe.
ivanduvok Jordan because Jordan went to college lol
going to college isn't conclusive enough
"Yeahhh... Probably can't dunk right now."
I love this because it shows the human side of a great player.
You're the man Graham. Interviews seem like the easiest thing in the world to do, I mean you're supposed to just sit there and ask questions, but it's amazing how many interviewers get it so wrong. You aren't one of them, so I congratulate you. Keep it up!
Real Interview. Finally, someone who asks real questions about his actual life, mindset, and questions that you would ask your friend across the street. Too many interviewers get caught up asking questions about business, the NBA rumours, and shit that is really irrelevant. Great Job Graham.
Gurbir Parmar so true. These are truly the best interviews anywhere.
His genius clearly goes beyond the court. He is definitely an evolved soul......he was done with everything he needed to do on Earth.
RIP Kobe, Gianna and all those who perished in such a horrific way 🙏
Part of what Kobe didn't mention (in how he was able to mimic the Dream Shake) is that both he and Hakeem were big into playing soccer when they were young, and were familiar with that mindset. It's amazing how much crossover the two sports have!
brilliant observation....they really are almost the same sport. Explosion, endurance, ball skill, reading geometries in a constant flow sport where offense turns to defense and back again without stoppage and all you have to rely on are your legs, teammates, and a ball.
Foootbaaaaalllll
Basketball is indeed the closest thing to soccer. They're beautiful games
+Seracen Footwork is underrated.
Kobe did not play enough soccer for it to have that much impact on his game. Hakeem? Granted he lived in Nigeria till his mid late teens and all. But Kobe even though he spent part of his childhood in Europe, he has made it clear that he was a basketball freak from the time he was 2. He would play soccer but I believe he said played goalie or something. And growing up in football nations, the kids that weren't too god at soccer were always forced to play goalie. Ask anybody who grew up in Europe or Africa. Kobe is just a super talented basketball player and more
I do agree that the two are similar and especially soccer can help shape one's baseball skills
One of the most underrated channels on youtube
4:59 Kobe has cultivated a growth mindset, right at the end the interviewer was making the argument that Kobe wasn't the only player who put in the time from an early age so what's the difference (baiting Kobe to put it down to talent), but you could see Kobe avoid that temptation and simply claim the difference was down to not many players starting as early as him
"baiting Kobe to put it down to talent" I didn't think so at all, he just wanted an explanation
When i was 19-23 in the military. I could run all day. Obstacle course was way easy for me. And i was one of the fastest in my group. I could party all night . Get 2 hours of sleep (or sometimes no sleep) and get up at 4 am for a 3 mile run and exercise. Now at late 40s. I am AMAZED at what i did when i was in. Time waits for no man.
After Muhammad Ali, Kobe is probably the most well-spoken athlete of all time. You can tell he has an intellect that goes beyond sports.
Lemme introduce you to McGregor 😂
First Last, he was joking. Calm down. 😂
But Dikembe Mutumbo knows 9 languages..... you just cant understand 1 of em
@@quick2bud and joel embiid speaks a few as well
You must have not heard MJ talk. I know its cliche to say michaels better than kobe but if theres one thing he really is better at its speaking.
You have great interviews. And with Kobe is, thank you. I've been Kobe fan for all my life!
Must be fun have a conversation about basketball with Kobe
It is such a shame that he & Gianna were taken so young.
OfficialJoeKingOne mamba forever
Never been a Kobe fan AT ALL, but now I take notes on his keys to success
Rip Kobe 💔😢
I didn't like Kobe but you gotta respect this man hard work paid off
Now this interview really brings me even closer to Kobe Bryant! May his soul, GiGi and all other 7 individuals rest in peace 🥺😥
It must be so blessed to be a guy like Kobe to just be so obsessed with something so positive and hardworking and actually enjoy it must be the most rewarding thing anyone can ever ask for
Surreal...Rest In Peace Kobe.
I think I've watched every Kobe interview. This is a good one.
Another Great Interview !!!
+Calibre Crow thank you!
Graham Bensinger great work
“Why were you looking for that”
“Cause I was a nerd.”
.....Goes on to be an all-time great lol.
RIP Kobe, you will always be missed.
That's when you know u love something, work don't feel like work lol.
A blessing to find passion early in life
My cousin's were just like Kobe, all 4 were swimmers, up before 5am swimming, dedicated. They were so good they could of qualified 5the Junior Olympics. I think I. My opinion that sports and extra curricular activities make for a well rounded child while in school. You never know it just may end up becoming a career for they if they do choose.
Thanks for sharing these interviews of Kobe. You make talking to him the easy thing that you have ever done as if you have known Kobe all his life. Thank you for all you have done to help keep Kobe's memories alive with your interviews of him. Man, you did a great job, give yourself a pad on the back. Thank you for putting it out there.
Is it just me, or is Kobe way more personable, eloquent, and charismatic in retirement?
Note: Lifelong Lakers hater, right here.
We miss you Kobe Bean.
:'(
One of the best to ever do it. #mamba
Well done Graham, not many interviewers know how to listen these days! Keep up the great work!
Rip Kobe
RIP
Rip koby mamba for life
Kobe was the TaskMaster of the NBA. He could copy all of your moves by observation.
Glad he gave some credit to Hakeem. Olajuwon and Barkley were my favorite players growing up. I mimic’d my game after them. I copied Olajuwon’s fluidity, footwork, fakeouts, post up fadeaways. I mimicked Barkley’s ferocity. Barkley played like a beast and I always tried to play with the fire of a Barkley or a Rodman.
always awesome to hear a GOAT
That says it all Kobe saw Olajuwon "dream shake" and asked Horrey about it and started doing it. I remember when he started doing the Nowitzki fade away I was like wow!
bless u kobe- ur an inspiration inspiring me since i was 12
I miss you so much Kobe 😢😢😢😢
RIP KOBE 🙏🏼
Rip kobe
Kobe has been a man among boys his whole life
Rest easy
man id love to see my guy still playing makes me sad rewatching the last game every time
Goat
My favorite athlete
This is a truly fantastic channel. Great job Mr. Bensinger!
That last question almost made Kobe seem humble
Graham you're doing a great job. Thank you
You're a lucky man Gaham! Great interview
*Graham
+King Commander Thanks!
ive never ever thought in my life that there will never be as great as michael jordan BUT this guy just changed my perspective of view he did copy most of MJ's move's but he perfected and put his own style into it like those multiple pump fakes, fake half spin post move, unguardable fade away Kobe inspired me alot #childhoodhero
Great questions man really enjoyed the interview
+Breez Breh Thanks!
greatest channel on RUclips
Ur gorgeous
I love how Kobe snapped on him at the end
The greatest I've ever seen. Mamba
So much veracity in these words.
Graham is a great interview host... very knowledgeable and knows how to ask intelligent questions
Sacrifice that's what makes you great
Dat man Kobe ✊🏾🤷🏾♂️⛹🏾♂️🐐💪🏾
Mamba forever. Forever.
you are the best interviewer ever tbh great job
I love this channel! Great work!
Graham is literally the best interviewer. It's not about him AT ALL....joe rogan. Graham is real journalism whether its his or hes quoting and asking questions. He STFU'S and let people talk.
I just wanna know how he gets by with so little sleep
genetics without a doubt
i'd rather be efficient for those 17 hours i'm awake and just get the full 7 hours of sleep, which for me is perfect. 8-9+ hours of sleep almost drains me and i feel over-slept. It's not like you'll be focusing on your craft for those 17 hours you're awake anyways, probably only a few IF even that. Depends on your dedication.
stabbedbyahippie kobe takes 3 3hr naps through out the day i read that in article while back
Jon Martinez in his book he said he took 1 or 2 15minute cat naps everyday
Awesome interview, awesome channel....How are you not more famous??
i love your interviews!
kobe, I don't think ur the only nba player that's been playing since a small child.
Great interview!!
❤️
Hold on i cant remember anything before my 3rd birthday, how does this man remember playin since he was 2?
lol..
probably what his dad told him. earliest i remember is 3.
I have some memories from the time I was 2 years old, but obviously just some moments. It's not impossible, although most people remember from the age of 3.
You remember your 3rd birthday? I doubt that. What did you get for your 3rd birthday?
my dad has the same birthday as Kobe and he's older
Nigga said osmosis oh shit
lol
Three things: (1)Kobe is the human form of MJ. He is the closest to MJ we've seen so far. (2)It's not really close. I have just watched the Last Dance, and I was once again convinced of that. (3)It'd be nontheless awesome if any human acheived what Kobe achieved a short but brilliantly lived life.
This interviewer talks in the tone of agent smith from the matrix lol 🤣
What makes you successful every day throughout the years
Ok.kobe.mvp.81
Hi edagdwg thanks for sharing this man is really picking Kobe's brain I bet Kobe was say to himself you think am going to tell you everything Linda j peace ❤️💯🌈🌈
MJ was asked I who would win in a Juan on Juan between him & Kobe. MJ said he’ll be able to win a couple because he STOLE my moves. 😂 So True!
Juan on Juan
You should interview Michael +Graham
+Isaiah Watson Hopefully someday!
Graham Bensinger That would be a good one,all types of stories.
only 83k subs?! what?!
Ur a great interviewer graham, but u still owe me my damn canelo gloves
@5:00 it reminds me of Dwight were he doesn't have a post move.
great jb SMH sad to see my fav player go
#KB24EVER
How come have you got so little subs when you're interviewing guys like kobe and shaq?!?
these are clips from his tv show.
Kobe the real life Ryōta Kise. lol
I can't believe Kobe made an osmosis analogy
He's a very intelligent man
😇😇♥️♥️🌍
Can someone tell me what those shoes are
See too be great at what your do, a void will be created too other things, like family & friends.
But its lonely on the top amen!! it helps to grow to be 6'6 but no matter your size. its all about what you're willing to do too your body to be great and pray it holds up. It's a lot too this sport my body didn't survive it but i pass the knowledge to others. it scares people away but that what it takes too be great ask this guy in this video.
So every ball player I ask ( WILL YOU SET SCREENS FOR THE STAR, OR WILL THEY BE SETTING SCREENS FOR YOU!)
Its a real question, so only real people can answer that! THINK ON IT BEFORE YOU PLAY THIS GAME WORD TO THE MOTHER!!
Have fun but respect what ever you put your heart too, God Bless and always keep Jesus first in all you do!!!
Jordan maybe the GOAT
but Kobe love this game more than him.
Mamba mentality
who is kobe's charles oakley?
Yooo you have to do one with Jalen Rose
he was a loner
Graham your hair was a little or a lot 2 fluffy lmao
He should have gone to college.
Why?
1st
Worth 200 million dollars, speaks to people around the world, idolized by kids everywhere...and he says bofe
He talking about 360s and windmills, im 6’3 i havent even dunked yet #nohops
bruh even if you train 8 hours a day which is highly unlikely im certain this brother did other shit.
i guarantee kobe was never a weed smoker.
UnleashTheGreen what makes you say that based on the video? Just curious
