Morning Brian, I thought I'd take a trip down memory lane. I miss and love the UP I watch 906 outdoors every Monday night hopefully someday I'll get to make a long drive back up to the Kewanna peninsula do some camping a little brook trout fishing maybe do a little walleye fishing on Lake Gobebic maybe one of those toad sized perch. Anyways tight lines and big fish and much peace and love from northeast Texas 🤠✌️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✨🧸✨
Damian is a conservationist and usually lets fish go in the spring. He will never take a female fish. But males in the fall are probably what he may keep but not many. Mostly all go back.
When I saw the title I thought "The President's River" referred to the president of the Old Duck Hunters Association, Inc. (reference: Gordon MacQuarrie). I was disappointed to here otherwise.
I also thought the same thing. I'm only 36 but I grew up my dad read the old duck hunters story's to me and I have kept the tradition up with reading the Storys to my son. I did know about the presidents that fished the river. Good video
doggone it I was expecting to see some beautiful "fillet of fish" grilling alongside the Brule, in the woods and ≥......good presentation by Wilmot, however. Wonder if he knows (of) any successful flyfisherman from some years back like Doc John Lee of Mondovi WI who spent one heck of a lot of time bringing in trait from the Brule..
Thank you for this show. Fantastic
I love this video! Such a great representation of the brule and those that respect it!
