I just purchased a ring bag in black crocodile for 1100usd. It‘s in immaculate vintage condition (almost new). I think it doesn‘t get any better than that. Will be a great gift to give i‘m sure!

Hi there! Oh my gosh! I just purchased the EXACT Hermes Ostrich Fonsbelle white bag from Fashionphile a few days ago! Lol. I compared the pics to yours and yep it's the same bag! Lol. By the time I purchased it, it went down to $2,065 before USD tax. I was actually at the Fashionphile Carlsbad location selling items so I asked to see that Fonsbelle bag. The exterior looked great overall minus the black scuff mark and faint pink "color transfer" that are both on the top of the flap and black scuff marks on the bottom corners. The interior tho....wow! Can we say soiled with what appears to be makeup discoloring lol. 😂 It was mainly in the front section compartment that has the 2 slot pockets and lip slot pocket. The rest of the interior just looked moderately soiled. I decided to purchase as I was told by FP that Hermes can spa the bag to look new. Well, I found out from Hermes they only spa the exterior NOT the interior! Uuugh! Well I decided to do my own spa of the interior and exterior and it looks really good! I got a lot of the scuffs removed on the exterior myself and as far as the interior, I worked on it for HOURS! I tried different hacks and now the interior looks so much better and the pink "makeup" discoloring is removed however some of the dirt marks are just too deep and are actual stains now that I can not remove. Regardless it's a huge improvement.

@LadyVintageBags yes I'm pretty happy with this being my First Hermes and I was fortunate enough to get one in this beautiful Ostrich! The white ostrich is still a beautiful bright white and the gold hardware is so rich. I guess it's a blessing somewhat the interior was so dirty as that is why the price started about $2,995 or there abouts, and from there it just sat and sat til it went down to 30 or 31 percent off, then I came along and snatched it up for $2,065. Lol. I worked on the interior again and it's even better but overall the interior is about a grade C+ now. It was a D, borderline D- Lol. The exterior is an A. Such a classy and elegant bag.

I did find a white ostrich that someone sold online for less then what I paid, I cant recall now, however Ii do not know the overall condition. I feel better now that you told me I scored! Lol. With all the discoloring going on inside with some black scuffs on the outside and a tiny pink color transfer on the top of the fold of the flap along with it being FLAT like a pancake 😆 I really was having second thoughts! 😆 Lol. It's just so much fun doing your own spa! I need to get a kit to do the edges in that rubber type finish. A Bally purse I have is starting to give way on the piping but that is one way to fix it.
The drag bag looks a bit annoying because of the two separate openings. It's nice but a bit old lady so you need to be young to carry it off. Love the ostrich styles particularly the white. I feel like white is on the up.

I'm wondering how I can't scratch the itch in relation to this, I've already got a white mesh Oroton vintage small handbag, not sure if it will work during the day... and I'm thinking of something bigger. White ostrich in summer is so cooling. White is high maintenance but if you're careful and clean it up, and maintain it should be good. I just bought a gingham Gorman dress it would go really well with an edgy white bag. Sigh it never ends that itch...LOL
