I was told by a bunch of you that I had to do these two side by side, and I always do my best to listen to you. One last thing, I'm well aware that the video is very long. Glad you checked this out. I could see the emotion on your face when you did the Reimagined version. I know as a guitarist myself I get a little bit snobby about not having a metal/rock vibe to a song, but that piano was so beautiful. Side note: Ronnie was paying homage to his guitarist who passed a few years ago when he was playing the piano solo. If you watch the consistent voice inflection changes that he uses, that's honestly the most impressive part to me. Dropping to baritone and then bouncing straight to falsetto. He's extremely talented.
Ronnie is AMAZING. His RE-IMAGINED and RE-VAMPED songs are MIND BLOWING!

I don't know how I haven't seen your channel before now, but you have a new subscriber. I love your honest take on these songs as well as your musical knowledge as most reactors don't come from a musical background and can explain what the band is doing. Lol, we are almost in lock-step with our opinions yet again (though I much prefer the Reimagined version). I agree that is simply a far more mature and artistic vision of the original with a massive increase in quality and thoughtfulness. But it’s somber and sad while the original is driving and fun. As a musician I just appreciate the amount of thought that went into the Reimagining and that brutal outro is situated perfectly to catch you off guard and really drive home the point of the whole hook. For me it’s a 7.3 for the original and a full 9.0 for the Reimagined! Ronnie is just so damn talented it’s unreal! Thanks!

I believe you should listen to their newest song, "Watch the World Burn" it does have fast rap and hip hop mixed in but when it comes to the rock/metal part its AMAZING. Its probably the heaviest ive heard Ronnie go. Ive been a die hard fan since he was in his original band "Escape the Fate" but i never thought Ronnie had that kind of heavy vocals in him. The song is basically like Ronnie going "hey i can do this, and i can do this as well" its very unqiue song much like his others mixing multiple Genres. He also has a new song which is a cover of "last resort " by Papa roach of which he got the blessing from orginal artist! Its so beautifully done.

Just put them in their context.15 years ago probably the mood, the experience of Ronnie and also of the band couldn't be the same as now.that's why we cna watch reimagined version.
Just listen to it thinking about the complexity of the emotion behind, the new sense of the lyrics and the new feelings about something they made.
For example i feel like in reimagined version ronnie is singing trying to express the emotions he had all over the years and the final screaming is the way he gets free from this heavyness.
Ronnie is a great singer, songwriter and performer.

I wonder if Ronnie was inspired by music youtube Chase Holfelder's interpretations of songs. So much elements of Ronnie's reimagine versions that sounds like Chase Holfelder's style
Both Reimagined and Revamped were composed and orchestrated by a gentleman called Sean Rooney, he sent Ronnie a mixtape of FIR songs done in a classical style :)

The exact same words but seems like a different meaning in Reimagined. How did you like the guitar solo rewritten as a piano solo?
For me is the opposite, I listen only too the new version. For me this version seems very mature in comparison with the original one. Greetings from Denmark!

I think this version of the son suits the lyrics better, though admittedly, the original is more fun to listen to. This song would drag you down if you gave it your attention driving around somewhere, the original wouldn't.
Uhm. He sounds a lot like Chris corner (IAMX) in the reimagined version. I almost thought it was a cover by him

The first video reminds me of that 80s blink 182 emo bands. Granted I know nothing about music. Not my thing. But the lyrics are good. But not my thing. BUT the 2nd video was like he matured or originally envisioned it. It's like a totally different song. And I like it WAY better. More serious.
You need to check out new video. Alot of rap but it's good. Video is killer. Makes me wonder if I like the song because of video. But the lyrics again are great. Even tho you're not a lyric guy🙃

I have to say I am not really into FIR, the reimagined song for me is far more listenable, there is something about Ronnies voice I find a little jarring on the original, it is the same with I'm not a Vampire, I think Ronnie has a really good voice but he does not use it on the original versions, just my opinion having listened to them a few times, the younger of my friends go mad for FIR, but I can take them or leave them

I think the reimagined version forces you to think about the lyrics while the original the meaning kinda gets lost.
Not a fan of the original, his voice was just too cliché pop punk, like an exaggerated Mest, but I like them now
