Fun fact: He wrote this while in prison----looking into a mirror. So many of his songs are about his dual nature and the push and pull between wanting to do better but falling back into old patterns of bad decisions and self-sabotage. Good news is he's many years sober now, in therapy, all about making healthy choices and has nowhere to go but up.

Ronnie is the genre 😊
Ronnie composed the original. Sean Rooney, an Irish composer converted the original to a piano piece. Ronnie loved it and then it went from there. Ronnie does play piano, has for years and is completely self taught. He can indeed play this song. He is insanely talented. However it is Sean Rooney playing on this track, Ronnie wanted him to do it.
Ow you should def do more falling in reverse they have some amazing tunes... start with the trilogy for example!
Great reaction! This is one of my favorites by Falling in Reverse. Ronnie actually wrote the lyrics while still being in prison, fighting to become clean of heavy drugs (heroin, I think) and looking at himself in the mirror.
Ronnie Radke said he started playing piano as a child. As someone else here said the lyrics are about himself - the destructive side of himself with drug addiction being one of the more obvious symptoms of that, but he has struggled with depression as shown in his song 'Popular Monster'. I'm sure someone will correct me if I have this wrong but I seem to remember him saying he wouldn't ever write a love song.

I lost my father to cancer back in 2020 , during the month prior i listened to this song a lot. It’s touch to listen through this song nowadays, but it perfectly conveys the feelings i had back then.

Amazing reaction, as always! But as the others already said, now you HAVE to do "I'm not a Vampire Revamped" as a companion piece. It's way (WAY!) above the already insane Drug Reimagined version and stands as one of the best and most emotional pieces of music (and video clips) of all time. Go for it as soon as possible. You won't regret a single second of it. And Sistah WILL cry. Lots. And every tear drop will be worth it.

Ronnie was a very bad heroin addiction before he went to prison. He had actually formed a band called Escape The Fate bef9re he got locked up. When he went to prison for 2 1/2 yrs his band kicked him out. While there he got clean, wrote songs and formed Falling In Reverse. When he walked out in 2008 his guitarist Derek Jones(RIP) picked him up and the rest is history. Btw Ronnie has been clean ever since. Also if you like this reimagined version, he also revamped his song from 10 yrs before I'm Not A Vampire. Masterpiece
Even though the storie of the song is completely different i would say I learn a lot about the pre comments. A lot of wisdom.
