- LP Fans.....Beyonce Fans.....FEELIN' YOU!!! Tonight we're coming back to LP, with a live cover of the Beyonce song entitled "Halo". FULL DISCLOSURE: I have obviously heard this song before, I've done a reaction to it already. However, this is a cover and a live performance. Therefore I will NOT be scoring, evaluating, reviewing, or reacting to the song itself in any way. I will ONLY be scoring, evaluating, reviewing, and reacting to the cover and their interpretation of the song, as well as the live performance. How's this one gonna go? Only one way to find out...

She’s just freaking amazing!! People just can’t figure her out. She’s a human instrument.. beautiful!!
While LP’s immensely talented she’s also quite underrated in general. Glad that you scored her that high.
I think she needs a good manager. I know her for quite a whale, but nobody here in Brazil had heard of her untill she came to a festival in 2022. Six months later she did a sold out concert in São Paulo (biggest city in Brazil). People need to know her, I have shown her music to a lot of people that never heard of her befone. I never listened something besides wonderfull.
I also like this more than the original. The original did nothing for me, however I heard this version awhile ago and I still listen to it every now and then.

You're not alone with that opinion, and it's not disrespect towards Queen Bee. A cover can often be better than the original, it happens, as you said. This is one of them in my opinion also. I have heard sooooo many people say that. The original is good, but this was a level-up. 10/10 for me.
My wife’s uncle showed me this and it got me into LP and I gotta say this is the version of halo I listen too now.

LP is such a talented artist. Just saw them live, and there is absolutely no “mistake” anywhere in her vocals. All is on purpose. Just out of this world! I’ve seen many artist live, but LP trumps anyone I’ve seen/heard. Thanks for the review - a 10/10 for me.

I did a reaction to BlackPink....and I had to take it down. I was getting so many hateful and spiteful comments, including threats, that I didn't see any reason to keep it up. If the BlackPink fanbase are going to be THAT toxic, then their favorite performers have no place on this channel. I don't need that, this community doesn't need that.

An androgynous persona is what LP portrays. Hiding her eyes makes it even harder. Lots of people have a hard time defining her. People being outraged by your 'mistake' are just woke a/holes. The only thing I don't agree with you is the mix in the bass. The Bass is the lead and sets the mood and drives the song....to me. He appears to be the leader of the band too. Overall this is one of my great discoveries on youtube. Such a cool band! Have you heard Angelina Jordan singing Bohemian Rhapsody? She just dumps 70% of the song.....she doesn't sing Brian May's lead, etc. But she re-imagines the song and sings it beautifully with total confidence at he age of 13. How good is it? Queen gave her the rights to her version the very next day. That doesn't happen often.

I like LP more than I like Beyonce but I think that the original is better. LP is a better singer but Beyonce has a better voice for this song.

The musicians were great, however the vocalist used way too much fast vibrato for my tastes. I'm not denying her talent, however, personally I found her lyrical style of rapid vibrato to be annoying. This is one of the few times I do not agree with the score. Great, yes, Amazing.... not IMO. There are better Vocal covers of Halo, like even Angie Miller - Halo (American Idol 2013)
It’s all purely subjective but I prefer LPs voice to Beyonces any day.
Same I honestly like Beyoncé voice better than lp I especially love the time she did 1 plus 1 live on her Mrs carter world tour
She reminds me so much of Janis Joplin. Be honest, LP can sing better.
