Yeah keep it original But it would be better to put aftermarket LED HEADLIGHT because its cheap, is long lasting and the light quality is way better than Halogen lights.
I love that MiNi Clubman JCW showing on the right window 😂 14:06 Congrats man👌🔥🎉. There's always pressure from around associated with with owning a Polo, u the one paying for the car💪👌
Bru, firstly your Polo looks stunning man. Congrats once again. Secondly, Don't listen to the mense saying that you must drop your car, even if it's by a bit. That's the "Stance" mentality that just doesn't make a damn sense when it comes to driving on these SA roads, especially now in the winter where roads are breaking and potholes are plenty. Your car looks amazing as is.
This video makes me want to buy a Polo myself 😭❤ but I am hoping to buy something else because I don't think I can afford the insurance at 23 years of age😂
Congratulations LOL as you drive longer it will get to the 900km I remember filling my girls car it showed 600 but as she was making her way to Durban it eventually got to 900+ got to Durban and that tank meter hadn't moved at all
Nice car cool video. Just one thing no vehicle in this world can tell you electronically that it has an oil leak. It could possibly tell you when oil level is low because many cars dont come with a dipstick however these models do and doesn't have an electrical oil level.
Go to External Shine in Bellville for that dirt by the engine bay and Ask the owner or the Manager and say MONGEZI said you must come there, they will give you a special 🎉. They are veeeery good. They will also do your paint protection under carriage and all that shibang!
The fuel range will increase as you drive remember that the stated fuel range is based on certain driving conditions that needs to be met. Driving short trips using the a.c and the way you brake will lessen the fuel range dramatically. You should read what autotrader listed in order to get the 900kms they claim.
Congrats! The fuel range will improve as you drive, that full tank will make it to 900km. Also remember , after zero range you have another 60km until completely empty. Just bought myself the Highline spec with sunroof in deep blue metallic, ultimate showstopper!
From my experience with my vivo. It shows similar mileage. You will notice the real mileage once the fuel bars drop. And you must drive at the recommended fuel consumption numbers to get the 900 km.
Bro, you make good, informative videos. You've gone the route that no one had before, and made a success of it. But with the fuel range thing on autotrader, just above the expected range the fuel economy says 4.9l/100km. Which means you'd get 930km of range at an average fuel economy of around 4.9l/100km. Your range at the time of fueling up was 6.0l/100km, that's why your car didn't think that full fuel tank would make it to 930km. Then you recorded it again at an economy of 5.8l/100km, where the car decided that now that you were driving at a better economy it could give you even more range, up to 700km. Your range at the time of fueling up determines how far your car thinks it'll be able to go with as much fuel as it has. And since VW quote the car at 4.9l/100km of typical fuel economy, at that rate their expecting that you should get 930km of range. Other than that, great video 🔥
congratulations brother! nothing beats owning a car and being able to go wherever you want and do road trips! some guidence regarding the polo since i had a vivo highline: watch out where you park (im sure you know) as they like stealing the VW cap on the wheels, the side mirror covers and also the VW emblem on front grill. other than that, do not do anything to the vehicle if you want to maximize fuel effiency, try when you can and afford to get all the tyres to be similar as that does assist with fuel consumption too. other than that, bro you have a keeper, if you bought the car that much you can see retail is superb! safe travels bro.
I think the 900 km is based on the “claimed” 4.9 L/100. That claim is achievable when you do long distance driving. Congratulations on the wheels man. She looks nice👌🏾
you will get about 800kms long distance not locally though and depends where you situated. example for me i filled in kzn got 689kms roughly refilled in jhb again i got less, so depending on where you are it differs. not refering to 1.2 tsi but my own personal 1.0 tsi
You can stil get the claimed average fuel consumption on open roads, the minute you start driving on highway/open road the range improves. Nice video and thank for the honest review..
Congratulations bro 👏🏽 🙏🏾. Car looks amazing. I own a polo tsi as well. I never considered dropping mine and probably won't. These cars look amazing as is.
Any long or short term loan whether it is car finance or a bank loan is a liability not only when you buy a car you can't afford. The only asset property finance as at a certain time the total value of your property at any given time after you take a home loan will be higher then the loan itself. So yes any vehicle finance whether you can afford it or not is a liability.
Nice Car bro keep that car!!! lol I have the same car ,haha 1300 to fill it up plus air lock , that thing will move from PTA to polokwane in airlock! if you dont do over 180😆😋
Congrats on the car buddy. I also wanted to find out by you what size is the lights you put in and what type of lights did you put in? I’m also looking to put in those lekker white lights
Auto trader is correct, if you drive freeway speeds you will even surpass that figure. I own a 2019 Polo tsi 1.0 comfort-line. I refuelled my car at 0 km range, my trip computer said I have a range of 690 kms after refuelling but I drove down to Durban, Amanzimtoti which is 552 kms with half a tank
Bought an Audi with a "full service history" from Audi and RMI approved mechanic. Got the car with 157000km on, guess what, they never replaced timing belts/chains. My roof lights was not working and sounded like a short at the fuse box just to find out that they wrapped a wire around the fuse for it not to blow.
I love manual transmission seeing you is even making me one get like your type, can you share with us why you prefer manual over automatic transmission?
I would prefer the DSG automatic as well, but rather when I buy a car brand new because you would never know if the previous owner abused that DSG box, which cost thousands to fix. So manual in a car like this is much preferable.
When i fill the tank of the aidi a3 it shows 860km but when i drive open roads at cruising speeds the mileage to go up The city driving in a natural aspirated 2L vehicle is on the heavy side Once the car is warm i am then able to skip gears and get faster to 6th which leads to saving petrol.
If you connect your phone with a USB cable to the infotainment system then you will have android auto. Eg, Google maps. I hope u connected your phone with the system then u don't need CD, play music on your phone via Bluetooth through your speakers, and answer the phone hands free while driving. You WILL enjoy that car. I traded mine with 130000km for a 2019 TSi which drives similar but the tank are smaller. Take your car up Du toits Kloof Pass to get the real feeling. Enjoy
Aah man how I miss the polo with its big tank. My T-Cross struggles to get 45litres. 🤦🏽♂️ I still think these Polo tsi were the best in overall fuel consumption across the entire polo history
I would always buy a new car if I can afford than a car previously owned by someone. But then I drive a Vivo 1.4 Confortline black style package. I used to drive the 2010 Polo 1.6 Comfortline. There are major differences that frustrate me that are not on the Vivo but where standard on the Polo. The most important one being 1. Only the highline Vivo has 6 speakers while mine has 4 (doesn’t have speakers at the back) thus the stock sound on the Polo is much better. 2. The from sitting positions on my Vivo are very high and only my driving seat I can adjust it high or low but still feels very high, on polo you can adjust both from seats. 3. On my Vivo I cannot only switch on the headlights without switching on the entire lights, you can with a Polo and you on Vivo no rear fog light while on Polo you have, well the list is endless of things that are not on my Vivo that were standard on my Polo; but if you never owned one shouldn’t be a train smash coz you don’t know what you don’t know
Congratulations bro 👊🏾
Looking forward to seeing more of your ownership experience…
Eish just finished watching car guy buying a vw and you too mrhowmuch 🎉🎉congratulations to both of you guys , we want more of the vw's gents
Appreciate it bro 💪🏽 congrats on the new whip 🔥 one of my dream cars 🙏🏽
Please Boet, Don't listen to those saying you should drop the car, please keep it original -
Beautiful car indeed!
Keep it as original as it is.
In other words, don't make it gham 😂
I agree. Dropped cars are shit !
Yeah keep it original But it would be better to put aftermarket LED HEADLIGHT because its cheap, is long lasting and the light quality is way better than Halogen lights.
Congratulations my brother please take care of your car keep it standard
I did a trip from CT to Kimberly on a full tank (930km) but I'm not a speedster. Relaxed driving
I agree with Autotrader. I've done that range with the full tank yet the range showing less. Congrats on the car purchase.
Mine went up to 740km so far with regular city driving, I might have to do a long distance drive to see if I can get what they claim.
Yeah, long distance without regular stops will reach that range.
Yes please don't drop the car Reagan, everything original is perfect 🔥🔥🔥
I love that MiNi Clubman JCW showing on the right window 😂 14:06

Nice to see you outside WBC😄😄😄
I did 1000 km on a full tank in the 2009 1.4 TSI variant (Japanese import) mainly highway and doing 140/150km/h most of the way
Congrats! The fuel range will improve as you drive, that full tank will make it to 900km. Also remember , after zero range you have another 60km until completely empty. Just bought myself the Highline spec with sunroof in deep blue metallic, ultimate showstopper!

For 2015 model vehicle, it's in a mint condition.
Just add mudflips
Definitely getting mudflaps
I think the 900ks range is amounted by the reserve tank or as people call it the "I know my car range"
Awesome video...
Can you do more videos on cars for 2k -2.5k monthly installment would really appreciate it

Congrats on the car buddy. I also wanted to find out by you what size is the lights you put in and what type of lights did you put in? I’m also looking to put in those lekker white lights
Those are LED's, same size as the original lights.
Ok cool man. Do you perhaps have the name brand of those lights, for the headlights and fogs please man.

It's very childish to lower a car. But if you like it...

The range is calculated on the current average consumption, so if u drive more efficiently you will see your range increase
