    My Goodness that was fun!! I love how you try the unorthodox, love the vertical dare devil, love that stuff!!! That’s fishing!! And so cool to watch how those fish behave, actually beyond cool!!!       Right! One of my favorite clips. I never even saw that until I got home. He came in as I was setting up. Stopped perfectly in front. Said Hi and casually swims off lol.

    I enjoy watching you fish bud. I loved fishing with my dad. He would fish in a bathtub if he thought he might catch a fish..haha. There was no such thing as cameras to watch the fish back then so it was a long cold day sitting on the ice waiting for a bite..but we loved it just the same. Thanx for taking me along on your fishing adventure! 👍

    Nice underwater action! I wish the camera was a little higher so we would see less weeds in the bottom and more fish above. Thanks for sharing.

    Try placing the sucker above the weeds, that’s always how I have my best luck. Sweet underwater footage, nice vid!

    Whenever a fish is near your spoon you stop jigging, that’s why most of them lost interest.

      It's habit. Feel like I scare a lot when jigging aggressive when coming close but sometimes that's what they want as it called them in. The ole shoulda woulda coulda.

    What's the difference between a northern pike and a pickerel? I was in up state NY 12 yrs ago I put on a Hopkins silver spoon cranked it fast the faster the more aggressive they hit the spoon .

      Silver spoon is another solid bait for pike! I think the difference is pike get bigger and pickerel have more spots. Pretty much the same fish though.

      You probably shouldn’t though, since March 1st the only thing you can target are panfish now until fishing opener in may. Any game fish you target and catch will be considered poaching and come with fines and license suspension. Just a heads up.

      @@avail657 What up Aaron. There is a special regulation for Mille lacs lake only that lets you catch and release pike till end of March which is pretty sweet. Not many people are aware of it. Just got to make sure to buy new license. I'll be up Saturday, hoping to find a few Monsters, well see.

    Hi. I tried the daredevil here in upstate NY with a minnow on it. Didn't have much luck but I was going for Lakers on Lake George. I may try the five of diamonds if the ice stays.. Getting warm. Love the videos. Joe

      i live on lake george and im not trusting the ice this year, so ive not gone out. lake george ice is always tricky and the fish are trickier!😁👍

      @@BryanProkuski Bryan, we went out on Lake George today. It was 59 degrees. Got a really nice laker on a white soft bait in 90 feet of water. Ice was a bit sketchy. I think we are done. If you are interested you can see some laker ice fishing on my son's youtube channel. It is called the Outdoorsman Channel. Look for the "Ice Fishing Lakers" video. Not as many followers as you but we have fun. I got this laker when we were packing up to leave. Keep your videos coming. Joe. p.s. I also have a ski at the end of my last name.

    Another great video Bryan.. I noticed at the beginning of the video that the pikes got spoked .. probably they could hear ur foot steps and sound.. It was also great to see how the 5 Dimond drove them crazy .. will try that next time.. stay safe my friend.

    If you want pike use a blue fox fire strip it's a gold spoon with a red fire strip, works like a charm they fucking love that lure.

      lol... That was my plan. I saw hook wasn't in either. But wasn't expecting him to dart off like that which I didnt have enough slack out so it caught on the ice and pinned. Gone.

    awesome video & I don't mean to sound like a harsh critic but each time you raised your voice & quickly moved you spooked those 2 pike at the beginning , keeping movement & audio levels to a minimum will definitely put more of those toothy pike topside , just an observation , Cheers ✌️

    Just goes to show that the noise level you were making does not spoke the fish. I have buddy’s that are so anal about the noise and being far away from the tip ups so noise doesn’t spook the pike!!
