The Sony is hands down the better looking video here. I am a bit tired of my Canon G7X Mark II and have been watching videos to see which Sony I'm interested in upgrading to. Only 3 videos into my research and I'm sold. I know there is a newer model with an interchangeable lens but honestly I doubt I'll need that option. This is perfect for vlogging and sit down videos. It's so cool how I just realized I came across your MacBook air unboxing and follow up videos when I got my 2020 Macbook air 3 year ago. ❤
Might buy this for a last camera, not gonna show myself too much, but for what its capable of doing, It just might be worth the investment! Great video!
I was sold on the canon m50 after watching your comparison with the g7x and now that I’ve been super into the white Sony vlogging cameras, seeing you with one is confirmation that this is my next move ! 😅❤

I couldn’t make my mind up between this one or the zv-1f but ended up taking it back and getting the zv-1. I think I made the right choice the Video quality looks amazing. Thanks.
I love the vid….I just bought the ZV1F (white one) open box from Best Buy it was $370 it didn’t have the instructions and the cord not a deal breaker I don’t read the manuals anyway. I wanted the ZVE 10 but since they just came out with ZVE 2 I am definitely going to get that one that one will be my sit down bcuz they say it’s extremely heavy compared to this one and the ZV 1.
I'm torn between the M50 and the ZV1. Seeing the quality of both, I like how wide the M50 is and I like the compactness of the ZV1. Are you filming with natural light because it looks so good?
I film in front of a window! I'm going to make a video comparing the two cameras. I've only had this ZV-1 for less than a week and LOVE IT but I am definitely not getting rid of my M50 anytime soon. The ability to change lenses on the M50 is SO great for photography and once you build up a few lenses and invest money into it, it's hard to let go. The M50 is still super small and lightweight- just not as compact as the Sony.
Another one to consider is the ZV-E10. It's usb-c and similar to ZV-1 but it has interchangeable lenses and the kit lens is wider at 16mm. Price point isn't too different either.
@@JasonGanub I'm not a fan of the colours on the ZVE10. I don't know how to colour grade either so in-camera colours matter to me. Also the rolling shutter and stabilization on that camera are really bad. It's still a great camera though, just not for my needs. Thanks for your suggestion.

How do you turn off the zoom sound?
how do you charge the batteries ?
You can plug the camera in directly with a cord or take the batteries out and charge them

Mine is touch screen
The Zv-1 only has focus on the touch screen. You can navigate thru settings or do anything else on the screen
