Marion said "They want how much for a Christmas Village!??...Not in this economy"..lol...give me two hours some cardboard and some paint and watch a masterpiece come to life....lol....Love You Ms Marion, the world is a better place with you in it....❤❤❤❤
Your Christmas village is so cute. It reminds me of the crafts I used to do with my mom at Christmas. We didn't have a fireplace until my dad added on a family room. So my mom used to make one out of cardboard and we'd paint it up and put it on the living room wall. Then we made candles and poinsettias, logs and fire, etc. from construction paper to decorate it. A place to hang our stockings. Thanks again, Marion
Your advent garland is so different, it’s coming along so nicely. As for the gingerbread village, such a lovely project to do with children, so achievable and the result is beautiful. Thank you Marion for sharing yet another craft project
Thank you for the ice cream my grandsons and I made some! It took me longer to clean the kitchen than make the ice cream 😂 my 3year and 5year grandsons had such fun and they were so excuited that they were allowed to lick the spoons as it didn’t need to be cooked. Just loving your videos
It’s soooo lovely! It looks really effective with the lights behind it. You would pay a lot of money for something like that in a shop. Very atmospheric. ❤️
Well Jennie...you might if it wasn't cardboard! The ceramic ones my sister was looking at were in the hundreds of pounds. For a couple of weeks I think we can manage a cardboard version 😂
Hi Marion. Another beautiful make, using something that a lot of people throw away. Thank-you for sharing a great idea. So pretty with the lights shining through. Xx
A real success Marian. I was wondering how it would work out but as usual it turned out great. I should know by now not to doubt you. Now....can I find enough cardboard!! 🤫
Hello Marion ... Love this! We are making this row of houses with the grandchildren . Brilliant idea! Thank you Mary Suzanne from British Columbia Canada
This idea and beautiful work of yours is just MARVELOUS, Marion!!! We will totally be copying you over here in the US as it seems you've created the perfect craft project for the days before Christmas--thank you so very, very much!!!
looks splendid Marion. If we weren't trying to clear out ready for moving early next year I would give this a go. I must put it on the list for next year
Thank you Marion for another wonderful Vlogmas. I would say it is a resounding success and from something we throw into the recycle bin. ornaments are so expensive these days. It just goes to show that with some thought and a few bits and pieces a crafter can achieve anything.
Eeeek!!! I didn't think it could get any more magical than your metal/jewels/greenery wreath.... But it HAS!!!! This is just gorgeous! Your mess is fabulous!!! The bigger the mess, the more fun has been had😂🎉 Thank you sooooo much, Marion❤
PS Where is the Community page? I unofficially voted in a past comment for the book idea, but I don't have Facebook or Instagram. If the page is there, can you log my vote for me please, Marion? Thank you ❤
A wonderful idea. Turned out great. I would maybe poke some holes through the trees so that the light can shine through this house, too. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Every day a surprise ❤
Inspired !! Looks brilliant, I’m well impressed 😊 My granddaughter and I made piñatas recently from cardboard boxes, great fun! I would have added a pic but I don’t know how 😂. xx
I'm so impressed with how talented you are. But more so how much confidence you have in how to do what needs to be done to look like your vision. Thank you for sharing.
Just lovely Marion. When i was little our main decoration was a cardboard village. Your village brought back fond memories. Thank you and Happy Holidays 🎄
Thank you. That was the point really. Not everyone can just go out and buy the pretty things. But it is possible to make something and be happy you've done it too!
This is a lovely idea when you have children. I take care of 2 boys when their parents are working, but now they are to old. I started 9 years ago as a guestparent, that is how they call it here. When the boys were young they liked to do some craft, but now they play football or a kind of game.Your houses are looking so much better then I first thought. they would be. It is just cardboard and paint but all together, with the lights it is looking really good. You have many ideas and everybody can try to make them.
I thought they weren't going to plan either. But all of a sudden, they just seemed to work. They do look nice on the mantelpiece... :) I've never heard of someone being a guest parent. Sounds interesting Marjan
Guest parent is a kind of childcare. Parents can bring the children to a creche or childcare but also to somebody at their home. Or ask somebody to come to their own house, as I did. Its what grandparents usely do for their grandchildren. But I'am not family and I get paid. You need special education to be a guestparent, about the same as working in a childcare or creche. Now I"am not a profesionel guestparent anymore. I'am just in their house in case something happens. But I take care for their dog too.
Another wonderful vid., This will be a craft for next year 🤗🤗🤗 Love your nails xx I was telling a friend of mine about Marion,& my husband piped in & said, " have I met her ? " (Oooooh if only I could) 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 🇦🇺😎 I can't get enough of Marion !!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
❤ TFS, I love this! I'm anxious for January, so I can get a Green Man bag here in Phoenix, Az. Thank you for responding to my daughter's question about shipping here.❤
Well it wasn't difficult. But it did take me some time to work out how it would all come together. It's definitely worth making, either little or large!
Absolutely brilliant. I'm going to have to make a row of houses for one of our mantels for next year. So so pretty. I recently found you & I'm so glad I did. I loved your channel & have shared you with all my friends who are also very crafty😊 Thank you.
Marion, leave it up to you to make a plain piece of cardboard into a work of art! I just love your village. And i think either the wall hanging or the book that gets the most vote would be a winner to make. Thank you for all your inspiration and encouragement ❤
Marion said "They want how much for a Christmas Village!??...Not in this economy"..lol...give me two hours some cardboard and some paint and watch a masterpiece come to life....lol....Love You Ms Marion, the world is a better place with you in it....❤❤❤❤
:) Exactly Michelle. I need that money for thread, fabric and wool! It's only there for a couple of weeks anyway... :)
Well you’ve done it again, sprinkling Marion magic on to some cardboard and voila a wonderful, magical gingerbread street. Love it! ❤❤❤
Thanks Sue... :)
Your Christmas village is so cute. It reminds me of the crafts I used to do with my mom at Christmas. We didn't have a fireplace until my dad added on a family room. So my mom used to make

I think that sounds brilliant Wendy! Your Mom sounds like she wanted you all to have a magical time!😊
Your advent garland is so different, it’s coming along so nicely. As for the gingerbread village, such a lovely project to do with children, so achievable and the result is beautiful. Thank you Marion for sharing yet another craft project
I wish I had 1/10th of your talent and imagination. That set of houses are so cute. Thanks for sharing
I love your little village. A great idea from your sister, to completion with your crafty art.
Brilliant Jacky!

There's no end go your inventiveness Marion. Each day we get a Christmas treat thank you.
So simple and so amazingly pretty….. The idea to cover the windows with tracing paper and place lights behind it was lovely.

Definitely...😊 Inspiration in lieu of having any funds in my case 😅
I am enjoying your Advent videos very much, they are like a little present every day. The Gingerbread village is my favourite so far x
A lovely little village! Put a snow blanket under it and it will diffuse the light from underneath the houses to be less apparent.
I'll definitely dress the mantelpiece properly with something underneath. ☺️ I just couldn't wait to get it all onto film though...💐
Absolutely love your gingerbread street, looks fabulous Marion. Lots of love and thank you for the inspiration xx
