We love them! Keep em coming 🫡
@@LureLabPodcast thanks yall
Jerk baits rule! Another good video. Thanks.
@@willgriggers-ex5zq they’re fun! Thanks man👊🏻
Loved the video. Got my sub 👌🏼
@@alexroldan8971 thanks man!
Good stuff! Love all those jerkbaits. I have had a lot of luck on the kvd jerkbaits as well. If you want a faster more action like the jackal but a cheaper option go with kvd. In clear water that gizzard shad is pretty dang awesome. I wish Berkley would make that color in the stunna
@@PHATBASSASSASSIN heck yeah! I’ve used em a bit but need to more. So many brands!!
@ there is for sure lol
Man I'm over it!! Once hunting seasons over bring on spring haha. The videos are awesome man. If we're not fishing let's talk fishing!!
@@SwampYankee_Outdoors bro you’re telling me! I’m losing it😂 too cold to go out and even shoot the bow haha. Thanks bro! Glad you like em
This explains February! Bow is over and it’s time to fish! My house overlooks the pond and the ice just says F YOU everyday when I wake up 😂
@ hahaha for real
@@andrewpayne2811 it's the worst month. I live in Mass minutes from the Cape cod canal and this time of year we are all just waiting like little kids on Christmas for the smelt and Herring to start running the tataug and stripers to come in, the nights of boiling Blue fish Waters, red and pink sunsets gah lee I can't wait!
Yeah these are very helpful, I got so many techniques I need to work on.
@@dalereed658 glad to hear! Anything you want specific?
@ only thing I have confidence in is a Texas rig or a paddle tail. I’m never sure when I should try Ned/wacky/drop shot/neko and which is best at different depths
@@dalereed658 I like that! That would be actually make for a great podcast on Serious Angler too
Love the stunna that’s been my go to Jerkbait my first time using a Jerkbait I caught a 2.5 lb smallie on a deep point
@@brandonnutting56 nice!
Great video
Thanks!
My top 3 under 20 bones.
6th sense Provoke, Rapala Mavrik, spro McStick. Just to add a few for you to try in the future 😬
Dude!!!! Im dying to fish… that first 10 seconds hit HOME! Lol
@@MaineStreamFishing hahaha yeah bro it hurts
All excellent choices, I still really like the Lucky Craft Pointers in ghost minnow. I will have to try out that stunna 112+2
I need to get some of those, heard many good things about em
Good choices. I would add the Yozuri jerkbaits to the list.
@@patrickmahoney3479 noted!
I'm looking to move out of New York and the head to Tennessee hopefully I will get to Fish more once I get there
@@OneAndOnlyChi jealous!
I have had pretty good luck with the hooks on that jerkbait as well. I haven't used the berkley Stunna but use some other lures like flicker minnows often for walleye.
@@m14hh5 awesome! Yeah it all depends, sometimes they’re great and sometimes they’re flimsy.
Actually it was Hank Cherry winning the bass master classic on a Jerkbait back to back years it blew up after that , and FFS became insanely popular after that too,,,
@@clevelandwalker1336 yeah that’s what I said with Hank, at least I think I said Hank in the video😂
Tbh FFS was popular in 2020, just now more people are whining about it versus discussing use cases
Lucky Craft here. But I will try the vision.
@@vincelawyer163 I need to use more lucky craft too!
A medium moderate action is a sneaky jerkbait rod
Yeah man that’s a pretty standard great Jerkbait rod action
Sixth sense 97 size You need to try it it’s killer about the same price as stunna
@@timappleton2962 I got some on the way actually! Just bought some last week
I'm reaching for a 110 when it's less than 55°, and anything over that I'm all Rerange. I had a day with it where i swear they had to have never seen a jerkbait. And another day catching solid 3-7lb walleyes in the pro blue. Thing is a fish CATCHER for the price 💪❤️
@@Itz1Adam12 haha that’s what’s up! That’s awesome. Love that rule of thumb
The jerkbait is my absolute favorite lure to catch fish on
It’s a killer
can you give me tips for lures too use on a medium moderate 7' baitcasting combo? just picked up a baitcaster, also itll be my first time with a moderate rod. dunno what to throw with it besides swim baits, spinners, jerks. basically. can I throw swim jigs and other "heavier" lures?
also my home lake is super stumpy, needs tips for cranks and jerks from the bank without losing em
Did you get sponsored yet by another different company yet . Would love to see you change over to shimano rods and reels .
I’ve not, no! I’m enjoying being free to use any rod and reel and baits at this moment. Love Shimano!
The ppl who try and defend the megabass jerkbait hooks blow my mind. The out barbs and the 110 jr hooks are absolutely garbage. No one can convince me otherwise lol
They are engineered for like.. 8lb test class max. I keep the stock hooks until defunct but back off my drag. Just fragile. I prefer the + models because the regular 110 has a fragile bill. But they are great.
That said, so are several rapala models, the stunna, the pointer, the shimano, hell even a rogue. Some people treat the 110 like its the holy grail and it IS great.. but so are others.
@ I am well aware that they were “designed” for light line but with some decent hooks, you can throw it on 12 or 14 pound like Justin Hamner did to win the classic.
@@mattfleming86 i’m well aware of what it was designed for but you certainly don’t have to fish it that way. Justin Hamner won the classic with 14 pound test on a 110 and beefed up hook.
