Nintendo is still the only game company consistently creating iconic music for almost every game they put out. Did you check out the Splatoon concert that came after this? It's probably not gonna be nearly as nostalgic since the franchise still isn't even 10 years old, but those musicians are incredible.
@@MERCURYvsGAME the new Side Order DLC is releasing in two days, might be a good time to try out the multi-player mode if you want to compete against other newcomers and not just years-long fans. The campaigns are definitely worth going through too though.
I loved this reaction. My love for the music of Zelda is strong! Skyward sword music got me in tears!!! But the music of breath of the wild and tears and the kingdom is so deep. In the first game it was my loneliness that was reflected, my journey as Link and his path to finding himself. In the second game, it's a more epic, social journey as a more experienced Link who is open to facing danger in a different way. So fantastic of Nintendo to invite us to this great concert.
I love it when ppl show their genuine passion. I've watched the concert live, but rewatching it with you here has been a pleasure, thanks for sharing! :)
I listened to this concert for the first time in my classroom during a prep period. The beauty of it brought me to tears. I had to shut my door and draw the blinds for 30 minutes to finish the video and collect myself.
Skyward Sword came out when I was 15. It's the most nostalgic game for me, and it's the first 3D Zelda that I actually finished :) And the soundtrack is top-tier
Its so wonderful they recorded this for all to see. Its sad that it wasnt infront of people live like it was supposed to be. But im glad we got to view this. The instrument is called an Erdu. Its a very beautiful instrument. Hopefully they will use it more in the zelda music to come.
@@MERCURYvsGAME Yes it's rather lovely sounding. I'm glad it's become part of the Zelda orchestra instruments. Man I need Zelda to go on tour again so I can experience it all in person. I kick myself for missing out on Symphony of the Goddess tours.
This music has brought back so many memories of my childhood, into adulthood, taking care of my sick father, dealing with his death, and now having my own child and introducing him to all of the zelda games, watching his face light up as he hears this music is indescribable! Thank you Nintendo for giving us a game that can help support us through hard times in life and also give us the best memories in life! This game will always be apart of who I am and now I get to watch my son fall in love with it just as I did. Nothing else could ever make such an impact in life! 💚💚💚
@@MERCURYvsGAME I'm sorry about what happened, your discord account was very good because there was a lot of information about the legend of zelda, my favorite video game.

I actually haven't played Splatoon but I wanna give it a shot. I'll have to check that concert too!

I don't care what time or system you played on, this is how it sounded to us as we played.

Thank you so much! I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to stuff like that. It's nice to know that authenticity is appreciated :)

it doesnt care which game, the soundtrack stomped in your room, take your shoulder and scream at you "KID DO YOU WANNA GO ON AN CRAZY ADVENTURE?!"
Absolutely 😂
Absolutely fantastic. I'm glad I was not the only one that clapped after each set. ❤
The only thing that would have made it better is if they did it in front of a real audience!
The instrument used to play the Zelda’s lullaby at the end of the TotK theme is called the erhu
Omg this is so beautiful! Makes me melt like butter on a hot day. 😻. So satisfying. Lol and the human of Kyle is pretty funny too.

How was it playing the other Zelda's after SS?? The art style and gameplay feels so different -- it's grown to be a favorite of mine
The instrument is called Erhu. :)
Thanks for the perfect V-day date😄 Beautiful concert! This music brings up so many emotions and reminds me again of my love for all of these games 😍
Happy to accompany you to the concert 😂
