Haltec have the aftermarket ECU business all sewn up. I really enjoy your videos. Yours and Bennys Custom Works are the only ones worth watching these days.
What a time to be alive. We need a doohickey to turn our cable speed drive output into an electronic signal for our ECU and then we have to get another doohickey to turn that back into a mechanical drive so our old speedo still works
@@BarrelBros I wonder if there's a market for a single doohickey that can be a throughput of speedo cable with a plug in the side of it to send sensor data to ECU..... and what size that market might be
Should give EFI Hardware a ring and see when their manifolds to fit up one of their universal Pro-Street 4 cylinder ITB kits to a Datto A-series will be back in stock. They can send you the whole shebang with injectors and air filters and everything fully assembled, just bolt it up, plug it in, hook up the fly-by-wire throttle and set your tuner loose on it.
@@bluematter87 Thanks! I'm on the opposite side of the world (South Africa) So if I can reuse stock bits it'll be easier to find. haha. Otherwise I will need to get some made locally.
Love the solutions. Do AU regs allow you to reset the replacement speedo/odometer to match the Km's of the original odometer? Or is it just noted in the Registration records of an overage on the Odometer because of replacement?
Hey Mark, I’m building a 1200 also for a rotary conversion. I want to use the original Speedo also, can you please send me the link of where you got that device from?

@the_real_superstickman Bingo! 😄
But we can also slide some cruise control goodness in between there somewhere.

@ChristopherHallett But I already have all that stuff on the car?
Besides, where is the fun of something that just bolts up and works?
😍😍😍😍😍😍
love it! Need to still do my S13 upgrade on my B110 1200. where did you find the mounting brackets? or was it a custom job?
@Riekertvv the mounting brackets are standard 120Y Girling brake ones.
@@BarrelBros ah great stuff! will have a look for those then. thanks!
RB factory does laser cut steel brackets, I have the same setup on my 120y coupe 👍

Not sure. I just changed it 😃

It's called a Speedhut Speedbox. I got mine from Castlemaine Rod Shop.
