Hi Hadar, I'm from Vietnam. Thank you so much for the video on your channel. I practice the Shadowing method daily, and it's so useful for my journey jobs :3333
@@akash21987 It is also difficult because the Indian English is a mix of British pronunciation with Indian phonemes and tones (Which vary according of where they are from). And we normally learn the American pronunciation. And being honest English is pretty chaotic with its pronunciation rules, so its "normal" that English is spoken in so many different ways hhahah (Also happens with natives, they change some phonemes according of the region)
@@josuecordero478 the real problem is articulation. I also face the problem because Indian talk so fast you can catch their words . They fluency means talking fast. That's totally wrong.
@@akash21987 yeah talking fast is problem, that the English native speakers have as well, for example american tend to speak so fast with a lot of contraccions and if you are in a informal talk, with a lot of slangs. The same with the British people. At the end it's just getting used to their way of speaking.
For example I'm a software developer, and a lot of videos are from indian people, and with time I get used to their way of talking. But it is still difficult because India is a very big country and their way of speaking vary, but at the end is just practice (and good captions for training and match their pronunciation with the words)
I do understand them if they're teaching us English. But if they talk about academic or business topics, or so on, I don't understand most of their speech
"I really recommend FOR you TO communicate your needs" - Did you say it correctly? I can't find anywhere this construction. I always thought it should be: I really recommend THAT you communicate your needs. Maybe I'm wrong, can anyone explain it, please?
Do you find it challenging to understand others on Zoom? What advice would you add?

I'm working with people from India and it's so difficult to understand them D:
Yes you're right. Because of their articulation. Not the accent. (I'm an indian)
