Filipino food are designed for our climate, which is hot and humid and for farming. Our food and beverages are extra salty and sweet to replenish your body after a sweaty day of works and daily activities. Rice and other carbohydrates food in the Philippines like cassava, banana, corn and sweet potatoes can last 4 hrs of heavy works, not like bread or oatmeal only last from 2 to 3hrs and you’ll hungry. In the Philippines, even if you’re only setting without work you’re still sweating and burning your food inside your body. That’s why you need hard carbo food. And rice is one of the staple food in our country again, because of our climate which is good for rice planting. Beef, Lamb, dairy products mostly, we are not use to it in daily basis except for milk because of our weather which is hot and humid, you’re prone to high blood pressure. Fatty dairy products are mostly good for cold climate to burn fats. Almost all, because of our climate, even our flip flaps (Chenilas) are designed for our climate. Even our natural skin color (Kayumanggi) are designed by our climate. Except for our height and nose😅. Who’s with me? Comment below 👇😄

The reason we don't eat salad all the time is because MOST, not all, our dishes already has vegetables in it. We are a vegetable eating people. Just like most Asian dishes like Thai and Vietnamese dishes there is plenty of fresh leafy vegetables so there's no need to eat salad on the side. U.S. and European countries eat a lot of meat and potatoes, and salad is eaten separately because they don't normally incorporate vegetables in their dishes. Our food is all in one, everything included in it 😅

Yes it's true that most Filipinos eat rice 3X a day but those native ( KATUTUBO)Filipinos who lived in the mountains eat sweet potatoes, boiled bananas & casava. They eat mostly vegetables because they can't afford to buy rice, meat & fish.

Filipinos are never late, only after 1 hour. 😄
In mostly rural areas Filipino families have more children than those in urban areas. This is not only because couples spend more romantic time together but also they can have more family members to tend to farm duties.
Russia is the largest country in the world to have so much area to be utilized. In the Philippines, the growing population and limited land area, every space is maximized.
Filipinos expect everyone to be smiling and charming! 😉😉😉

Extra food spicies and beverages like tea, makes our body stinks because we are sweating a lot. Basic and simple is enough, like garlic, onion, black paper, chili, ginger, lemon grass, bay leaves and tomato. We use lots of vinegar and calamansi (lime) to neutralized fatty foods. Pickled food, very seldom, we are not use to it, because of our hot and humid weather it easily spoils stored foods, since we don’t have cold snowy weather to store and preserve. Except atsara (pickled papaya or carrots), we do most with salt and sugar preservation of food, like shrimp paste, fish sauce (bagoong), smoke meat and dry foods.

It's my first time here. Thank you for this comparison. I agree with you about the food bcoz of the weather. Our food taste light bcoz of our weather. The spices gives warm inside your body especially if your country is always at cold season. Wine also feels your body warm. You need more spices and wine❤. Yeah we are Catholic and Russia an Orthodox. You doctrine is different while Ph believe in Holy Trinity The Father The Son And The Holy Spirit is One. Enjoy staying in Ph. GOD BLESS.

We call this One Dish Meal bcoz there is meat, veges and soup. Like Nilaga, Sinigang, Bulalo, dish with sauce we always put potato carrots, banana, green peas, corn etc.

    1. Cultural and Traditional
    2. Racial.
    3. Religion Orthodoxy vs. western Christianity
    4. Geography....Eastern Europe vs. Asia Pacific Islanders
    5 Government.... Communism vs Democracy.
    6. Economy.
    8. Politically.... Putin controlled system without freedom of expression
    9. Chronyism in Russia,
    10. Corruption excessive in Russian public offices
    11. Human rights is a nightmare in Russia.
    12. Etc. etc. etc.

The way Putin is ruling Russia and the way a lot of Russians think and being controlled and brainwashed is a communist system.. it’s just a matter of how their government is being called right now..we are not blind and deaf on what is going on in your country.. we don’t hate the individual Russians.. but we can be cautious on how Russians act in our country just because a lot of Russians still blindly follow their leader without using their own conscience..

Yes you should try filipino salad like Ensalada salad, look for it I youtube for the recipe, Ensalada salad, kangkong salad, cucumber salad, even seaweed like lato or guso salad, those resembles with Kinilaw but seaweed instead of fish.. you can even make a pork kinilaw instead of tuna..we grill the pork meat and slice it into cubes and prepare it as kinilaw ..same ingredients. We have a salad dishes also and pickled vegetables and fruits but not maybe as like eu countries, the reason maybe you have lots pickled it just because you have a winter season its your way to preserve and do some more stocks food for the winter. Our resources can fit only due to our climate, when it comes to what plants can grow, and food we produce, even the attitude or modes of Filipinos 😅. We are tropical countries no winter season coz we are archipelago sorrounded by waters, not like as yours surrounded by huge lands.

Not every Pilipino had the habit of being late for an appointment , i really really hate on waiting for someone who comes late . I always ask for an honest explaination .

It is a very stressfull life if you're constantly thinking about those things when you're in Russia. We pretty much have the same amount of difficulties in life in the Philippines, of course not exactly what you have in Russia, but we manage to not take it too seriously and get too stressed about it hahaha.😅

nice to know about how russians have many beers and wines. and how many cheese. and salads. pickles. and beef and lamb. i mean, i loved how you talked about russian food and other russian stuff. good to know russian culture. this is very rare knowledge. philippines only knows, america, japan, europe. mostly from movies. stereotypes. but not reality. its nice to know about real culture about other coutries. especially russia. filipinos really really don't know about russia. what we know about russia is only from movies. especially action movies. and funny because russians always portrayed as the bad guys. hehehe. if not, a good muscular side character good guy. who always drink vodka. hehehe. also i like you talked about your geography, climate, russian economics and infrastructure. i watched the whole video. hehehe

Filipino's loved to eat rice coz it's carbs so we need more energy for the whole day Filipino is very hard working people, specially if you work as ah blue collar job and also our tropical weather here is hot compare to Europe, the more you consume your energy for the whole day the more they eat rice, but it depends on them. specially our food is so tasty and delicious much better with rice. but there are some not to much rice it depends on them. like in Europe and western country you like more potato. but in every part of the country now since our food is already introduce in some part of the country specially if they married to a Filipino and they already taste our food. some foreigner now loved to eat rice now. We have different superstisious belief here also in every part of the Philippines in every provinces they have their own. but I don't believe in that.

Sergei... I am Filipino, but even I get annoyed with Filipino time! LOL When someone says they're going to meet me at 7 o'clock, I expect them to be there at 7 oclock ! They call that Filipino Savings Time... When they tell you that they'll show up at 7, they will show up at 8 or 9 oclock.... So if you want them to arrive at 7 , tell them to come a 5... so they will be there at 7 !
