The actor Ray Porter who provides the voice and motion capture for Darkseid plays a small character for the flashbacks during the sealing of the motherboxes.
Thanks for releasing these so quickly one after another I watched part 1 and was like no I need to see more, other channels would make you wait ages to see the next one , great video guys , loved the film and Its nice to see other DC fans react to it , as most of my friends are marvel fan boys and won't watch 😂 there missing out 😂

@Young Lander You can see the Green Lantern make a hammer to smash a Parademon with but it's a very split second scene so it's easy to miss the first time

Darkseid looked great, Steppenwolf's aim and powers were awesome in this movie.

Moreover, he didn't downright lose to a Atlantic soldier(where do even see that, hmm?), it was a coalition of their respective top-leaders/old Gods and their most powerful fighters, if you meant Darkseid - and, not Steppenwolf - to the latter one as well..😅🙄🤨🙃😉✌🌈💎
I think darkseid got his ass kicked too easy, and just one blow from ares shouldn't have incapacitated him like that.

The Age Of Heroes battle is in my opinion one of the best ancient times set battle sequences on film since the opening battle of The Fellowship Of The Ring.

The Old Gods did their duty: Artemis shot Darkseid as he was reaching for the Lantern ring, Ares drew effing blood and took him out, and Zeus separated the Mother Boxes. That was some good shit.
@Lee Brown True, but no doubt Darkseid could probably easily wield green, yellow, and red rings, though the yellow and red corps probably hadn't been created yet.
If he'd grabbed that lantern ring, it would've been all over.

The history lesson Diana gives to Bruce about the origins of the mother box and the formation of the unity was so crucial to the overall plotline. I can't believe they removed all that subplot in the 2017 film. WB are bunch of idiots. The new scenes between Silas Stone and Ryan Choi was perfect because he is eventually going to become the Atom. It was a perfect way of passing the torch and Snyder mentioned about Ryan Zheng who portrayed Ryan Choi was going to have his own spin-off Atom film which would take place in China. He really had so much planned ahead of time for the primary, secondary characters.

It took both Cyborg and Flash to seperate 3 motherboxes but just a Zeus' lightning strike. The old Gods are so powerful.

Fun fact I live close to Leavesden studios where JL was filmed. My local coffee shop Fred and Gingers was Zack Snyders go to place during filming, he loved it so much he made a mini version of the shop on set and had the staff come on set and serve coffee for Lois for those 2 Scenes.
And hey he made a cameo just like stan lee on that coffe shop scene.... Lmao he really love that coffee shop i guess

The flashback battle reminds me of Sucker Punch fight scenes
That battle with Darkseid had me speechless the first time I saw it!
Everyone laughs at the fact of the humans hiding the mother box by simply burying it. However, that mother box was the last ombre that Steppenwolf found.
Another unecessary difference Joss made: in the Josstice League, when Steppenwolf put the first MBox into the wall, he was going on an on about "mother, I know you are hungry, I know you want to feed, soon the unity will be complete". In ZSJL, Steppenwolf is being berated by Desaad (the servant of Steppenwolf's Nephew Darkseid) about how he betrayed his people, and is forced to basically kiss Darkseid's ass, something he feels he shouldn't have to do since that's HIS nephew and not the other way around. Showing him to be this tragic character. Once again, idk what Joss was thinking

I would’ve really liked to see Ryan Choi suit up as The Atom in this movie. I know he was only supposed to be a cameo and nothing more, but I really wanted that. Fingers crossed they bring him back for future projects.
If he did there would’ve been way too much going on, hopefully in the sequel or future snyderverse movies
I think people would complain tho. Like some are already complaining about MM or few other cameos. Hopefully if we get JL2 then we can see him and others suit up.

The Darkseid war history lesson is my personal favourite part of the whole film. Everything about it is just perfect from the music to the action. Unreal how good it is.

FUN FACT: ALMOST all person who were cut off in the Whedon version are people of minority/color.. The police chief during the heist.. Iris west.. The Waitress in cyborg scene.. The Amazon who tries to first touch the mother box and tell to warn the queen.. Ryan Choi.. And this just go on...
FUN FACT: Synder had most minor cast members cast as people of minority/color instead of giving them lead roles. Obviously they'll be the ones who get cut when they're not essential to the story. I doubt it was a racial thing. Even Snyder not giving many major leads to minorities isn't racial because the Justice League for its entirety has mostly been white in every other media.

I love how I started watching the first video and mid-way on the video, I got the notification that part 2 came out.
Got to love that the Amazonians guarded their box with a hundred soldiers, in a trapped chamber. The Atlantians had many guards also, and was underwater. Then there is humans who just bury it in the ground, in the woods...
I love when people can sit and discuss ideas and opinions in a non confrontational way you will always have those people but just by looking at most comment threads this is a really wholesome community gotta love it

It angers me that we'll never get to see this as a proper theatrical release. It was miles ahead of the 2017 release, and with a few tweaks--mainly trimming it down to 3½ hours, changing the aspect ratio, and putting the Knightmare scene in the credits--this would be a cinema smash hit. I want to watch it in a theater once the virus fucks off.

Humans burying the mother box may be the most funny and yet the most ironic if you think about the fact it's literally the most difficult to find for Steppenwolf, considering the fact the other two has been in the same place for THOUSANDS of years

The absolute funniest thing in this movie is the fact that Humanity just fucking buries their box in the woods somewhere, it just cracks me up 😂 And honestly, apparently it was the right call! That’s the last box that Steppenwolf finds 😂
I think it was a smarter move. The Atlanteans and the Amazonians built a shrine around it, basically, making it an easier target to find.
The Men just buried it in secret. It took thousands of years before it was found and when it was found, its original history lost among men, its dark secret safe, and was kept hidden, almost ignored and forgotten.
Looking back at this, when Steppenwolf said "no Kryptonians", does it mean that Kryptonians had been always so difficult for Darkseid to conquer? But you know they are only 'super' when on Earth, right? They wouldn't have Superman power on their own planet.
Fun fact: Artemis is the Greek name for the Goddess of the Hunt, animals wild & domestic, & the moon; Diana is the name of the Roman Goddess of the same.
Though not named, I believe she is in the flashback fight, the female Goddess (with glowing arms) bearing her trademark bow & arrows.
The old gods look so badass. Wish we could get more of them

So when dark seid says ready the armada, i just saw online that it refers to a section of Apokolyps call Armagetto where the "Hunger Dogs" a group of soldiers or prisoners who develop weapons for dark seid. They might have also rebranded the furys that Granny Goodness Brainwashes and that's what the "armada refers to"
