Hey 7:02 :) looking forward to your review of this and the Mavic 3.
I hope I get a chance to review the Mavic 3 in the future, but I have no plans to buy one. I've got a video planned about the 3 where I talk about its issues . . . but that did open the door for me getting the Evo 2 Pro and the Evo Lite+! I can't wait to put the Lite+ and the E2P up against the Air 2S. Those will be fun videos.

@@WORTHITORNOT I should have been more clear in this video - I'm going to do a video about why I didn't get the M3 as a lead in to what I will be doing this year - reviews and tutorials on options OTHER than the M3.
You're going to have to try out the E2P when we get together again. It's a throwback to flying things like the Phantoms or the Typhoon H drones. It's like flying a Clydesdale. LOL!

I bought my Lite + premium bundle from B&H Photo a few days ago for $1649, and I had it in my hands 24 hours later. They’re a very reputable dealer and I high recommend them.
So far, I like the drone (it’s a backup for me), but Autel has some work to do regarding documentation and customer service. The only Thai really don’t like about the Lite + is the gimbal cover. It’s very difficult to get back on. I’m hoping for a good third party option…..

They have not, as far as I know. I've heard it suggested that DJI jacked up the price of the Mavic 3 in anticipation of this tariff change. I don't believe that - if that had been the case, DJI would have made it known that the huge price tag was the result of what the government did, just as Autel did with their announcement.
An interesting and important point is the Nano+ and the Lite (not +) share the same high quality RYYB camera which is in direct competition with the DJI Air 2s. The Lite+ is considered a direct competitor with the Mavic 3 although I'm sure some fanboys would disagree. On the price; it's believed the Mavic 3 is so expensive because DJI saw this coming so they opted to make the price increase from the release date rather than wait for the tariffs to kick in. Another point of interest is the Lite+ and Mavic 3 are not considered workhorse drones like the Evo 2 Pro and Phantom 4, Mavic 2 Pro, etc. They don't have the ability to fly waypoint missions for mapping at this time. That may change at some point. Cheers and thanks for another "non fanboy" review.
From what I've seen the RYYB cameras do wonderful things. I was disappointed the Lite+ didn't have the RYYB camera, opting for an older sensor and higher resolution instead. The sample footage I've seen from all four of these drones has been really impressive.
LOL that's a funny tactic by DJI . . . well, the prices will go up in a couple months, so we'll just bump it up now and pocket the difference until the tariffs kick in!
I'll tell you, the Evo 2 Pro is a beast. That thing is built for industrial use. It does make me think of the Phantom 4 Pro or the Typhoon H Plus in terms of its build. And it does do the waypoint missions, has 360 OA, shoots 6K (actually 5K) resolution . . . so yeah, it's a drone I'd be happy to use at construction sites, for sure.
I’ve only owned one Autel product and that was the original Evo, I wasn’t impressed with it so I sold it. I’m not a DJI fanboy by any means but there’s no way I’d pay almost a grand for a Mini drone regardless of the specs and camera. Thanks for your hard work and dedication 👍
