The Mask Designer is one of the most creative tools in PowerDirector. In this masking tutorial episode I walk you through the Mask Designer tool and show you how to add masks of predefined shapes, create your own mask shapes and add motion to your masks.

This is the easiest and most comprehensive tutorial I have found so far. Thank you Jeff.

Where are custom masks stored on my computer? Is there a way to manage them in a folder structure within Windows Explorer?

Greetings, Thank you very much for your tuts.
I am struggling with the problem of revealing the curved path using the mask. Is there any possibility to move the mask along a path to gradually show the path following its shape?
I do thank you in advance.
    PS
As if one draw a letter S shape revealing it gradually from the begging to the end.

the way to follow a curve is to set lots of points. the more points you have, the closer the points are together, the more finely you can shape the path.
