Correct, no noticeable delay from my experience if you're using a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle. Not saying there isn't a small delay compared to an aux cable but nothing I noticed by just listening!
I used the "normal" ATH-M50X for almost 8 years and tried to switch to the BT version 2 years ago. Delay when gaming was HORRENDOUS and I sent them back. Also had issues when using BT Headphone + Mic in Teamspeak (could only use either/or). Still using the normal M50X to this day. BUT that was on some cheap Asus BT4 dongle.
@@OMGItsDerek hmmm... maybe they upgraded it since then? Could be worth a try because without delay, this would be the PERFECT pair of headphones imho.
Hey there!… can you link or let me know which cable with mic dis you replaced the one that came with the headphones?… is it a generic one or a AT branded cable?… thnks! Great video btw!
Hiya! I actually use a separate microphone so I just use a normal 1/8" cable. I like having each of my equipment separate for better control and quality. The only time I use the built in mic is when I'm using Bluetooth and with Bluetooth the mic is actually already built in to the headphones and no need for the cable obviously.
I just bought a pair of these and I am having trouble connecting to my pc with them. I can connect the headset easily to my phone but when it comes to the pc connection it won't connect. I have tried multiple different ways such as disconnecting device from all Bluetooth devices, changing the Bluetooth settings on the device, and connecting to the device named "ath-m50xbt" instead of "ble_ath-m50xbt". I really want to not give up on these headphones but if I can't use them for the main purpose I bought them there is no point in owning them.
I know not all Bluetooth dongles are the same. Do you happen to have a different dongle you could use for your PC to check and see if it's the current dongle or built-in Bluetooth that is having issues? Just a reminder that all dongles must also be Bluetooth 5.0 in order for them to connect properly
I think the industry just matured to getting gamers use to spending a hundred or more on a gaming headset and once they did that it just made sense to start actually buying headphones worth that much
It can not, only has one device paring at a time! Would be nice to see device swapping in future iterations. That's a nice new tech that I've seen in some headphones!
@@OMGItsDerek oh yeah thanks I just got to the part in the video where you explained that lol. Also, sorry for asking another question but I see on amazon the ATH-M40x version of the headphones are on sale for $99 with an original price of $144. I recently purchased a new headset (ATH-M50xBT) and noticed that it has a p65 (Proposition 65 Cancer and Reproductive harm) warning on the back of the box. I looked at several other Audio Technica headsets and many of them seemed to carry this warning. Is anyone familiar with this warning or why it would be listed on so many of the AT products? Should I send mine back? I got it at B&H. This warning label is located in the back of the box. Also did your box come with a plastic cover for the headphone box? Mine didn’t! Just a box
i was going to get the 6xx as well ive never owned a really nice pair of headphones my best is probably my bose ear buds but when i ordered the sennheiser i had over a 1 month wait. So i canceled that right away and now im debating on getting these audio technicas ive looked at them previously
i did the mistake to purchase this headphones and now i 'm really considering to return them ... after one hour of continue use it gives you a headache and ears really hurt from the pressure it exerts over them ... i was intending to use them with computer but they become really really uncomfortable to the point you need to take them off and take a break from the pain ... i had used before the audio technica ath m50 coiled wired version which i used them for more than 8 years but i don't remember them to be so uncomfortable ! this bt2 are atrocious painful after 1 hour of continue use !
So in the description I put the ear pads I switched to and I think I mentioned in the video they did that. I will say, after just a few uses I got use to them and now can wear them as long as I want with no issues...consistently wear them for ~6 hours a time with no issues.
@@OMGItsDerek May I ask if you can do a mic test (wireless and wired)? I guess the mic will be the only deal-breaker for me. I really like the M50xBT and planning to scour the place for one.
Hello! This review is really well made 💪🏻and almost answered to all my questions. The problem is that is quite impossible to find these headphones in Italy (I even tried to search them on other european amazon stores but nothing found) 😞.. Do you know any other good over ear bluetooth headphones? Sorry if I bother you with this detailed list of needs but I'm trying to be as more exhaustive as possible to let you understand better. I'm not an expert/audiophile/ never had expensive headphones. The most "expensive" ones that I have are the JBL T450BT (they were around 40€)... So definitely not really expensive lol.. Anyways I mentioned them just for letting you know the audio quality wich I am used to. I use them both for music (I mostly hear rock and pop music) and games (playing with ps4, I have a Taotronics bluetooth transmitter/receiver linked to the tv), even if the latency sometimes is really annoying. Sometimes I use them for talking on the phone, if I'm already wearing them. So they work. The biggest problem to me at the moment is that they are on ear and they literally crush my head after only one hour I wear them. I have a small head, but I wear glasses, and these damn headphones make me feel like the glasses are fusing with my skull lol So the one million dollar question is: is there any good over- ear bluetooth headphones for music/games/films? Possible not over 100€, but if it's worth it I could spend 150 too. Thank you in advance, even just for reading this crappy and long request and sorry for any errors but english is not my first language 🙏🏻
@@OMGItsDerek understood 😞.. guess I'll pick something from Anker, at least I won't spend much (I saw the soundcore space nc at around 50€, at least they should be more comfortable 😂).. Anyways, thank you again sir!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Would it be possible to get a dongle for these so I can game wirelessly with low latency? Also, would it be possible to have them wired to my dualsense and have them connected to my phone via Bluetooth at the same time? And one more, would they fit well on a little bit smaller of a head? I’m probably gonna get them anyway, but I’d like these questions answered if you don’t mind. Thanks!! Great vid btw!!
yes, you can use a Bluetooth ongoing connect them to your computer and as long as it is Bluetooth 5.0 it should be pretty low latency. However, Bluetooth just isn't quite there yet with a wired connection which is why I choose to use them with a wired connection during gaming sessions. You cannot have them connected via Bluetooth and wired at the same time. Also, I'm unsure on your last question but they do have quite a bit of adjustment in the band but unfortunately I do not have a small head.
@@OMGItsDerek okay thanks for the answers! I’m gonna be using them for gaming and music, so how is the sound when gaming in shooter games? Like is the 3D audio defined and crisp/clear?

Hi derek, just bought the ath-m50xbt and im not sure if the headphone have an buildin mic on bluetooth mode as you mention at 7:20 please correct me if im wrong :)

Well if it helps, still using them as of today and I still love them overall and just like any headset, as long as they are good quality, eq can pretty much dial you in where you want to be.
Hey, you mentioned you are using a different aux cable so you can connect your headphones to your PC. The cable that comes with the headphones for some reason doesnt work on my pc. Which cable did you purchase? Id like to know because some cable wont fit the headphones. Cheers :)
Uhhh I mean they fit my ears fine. I'm a pretty big dude. 6'1" 240lbs. They just weren't super comfortable.because of how tight the band is which is why I switched mine out
Great review, man. Thanks a lot. I wonder if somebody has experiences with playing on PS5 together with m50xbt? How is it in general? Noticeable lags, possibility to connect via Bluetooth with dongle? And second question is about how tight and comfortable it with standard couches?
My pleasure and yeah someone else will have to help you with those questions. Haven't owned a console in a long time outside a switch for the kids haha
Depends on the game you're playing. I've used them both way and if it's a single player non competitive game, I really don't think it's much of an issue with bluetooth 5.0
i have my m50xbt but it wont connect properly on my custom pc (built in bt adapter) but works fine with my laptop, both running windows 10, any idea how to fix this? cheers
I do not tbh, it def sounds like an issue with your custom PC's bt adapter. Have you tried making sure you have the right drivers installed? Have you connected anything else via bt to this custom pc?
@@OMGItsDerek yes it was working at 1st then when i tried to plug the m50xbt on other devices then that started the issue. and its the only wireless device on my pc that has any problems lol
Hmm that's very weird, I've not had any issues with the BT with them personally so not sure I can be much help but maybe someone else will be able to assist.
It's an LG monitor because I also do a lot of photography and needed something that was super color accurate. Fair warning, it's an expensive monitor lol. Here's my review of it. ruclips.net/video/dXGICEQFJ20/видео.html
I do not believe so! At least I couldn't figure it.out. Bluetooth mic seems to only work for the phone. It's kinda weird as I see no reason they shouldn't but I do have a weird setup with vb cables and voicemeter banana so could just be my setup
Yes sir, at least the bluetooth mic you can. I never used the wire that came with it that had the mic built in to the headset wire so that I couldn't say.
Update to this - I can see that you mention that an aux cable you use for gaming. Not sure whether you have an Xbox or not but I do have a dac/amp (soundblasterx G6) that I have connected via a hdmi extractor which is working great so assuming the only way to use these headphones is via the aux cable? In that case as I don’t really need the Bluetooth connection as use AirPods for other uses for handheld devices and would only use these gaming do you think perhaps I should just opt for a pair of the wired m50x?
They can be used via any device that allows bluetooth. With being Bluetooth 5.0 they should have very little lag but even with the latest Bluetooth technology wired connections still introduce the least amount of latency as of right now. Basically wireless hasn't quite caught up to wired in terms of latency period so because of that I personally choose to use an aux cable when I'm game in just to make sure I'm here and everything instantly.
I just bought these headphones. I’m going to use them mainly on pc. But would they work for Xbox one? If so do you know how I would go about connecting them?
@@OMGItsDerek i decided not to use them on xbox. But i am having issues getting them to work on my pc for audio and the mic. I cant find any videos that would help
The mic on the headphones only work with bluetooth. The mic does not work if you have them plugged in via cable. The cable that came with the headphones should have a built in mic but doubt it's super good
Depends on the quality you want. For zoom probs not gonna make much of a difference. Audio-Technica has a cheaper set called the ATH-30x that would probably work just as well unless you really want Bluetooth for some reason.
I finally decide to buy this one and the sound quality is superb for gaming! I sold my old razer blackshark and hyperx cloud alpha which are advertised as “the best gaming headset” but very poor in sound quality, especially for competitive fps games right after i tried this ATH M50xBT Another thing if you need to bump the sound quality a bit you can pair this to EPOS GXS 300 it has great EQ settings for your needs. I never lookback for other gaming headset brand from today.
hello sir, I always watch your video. big fan. I just want to how is the quality of the mic of this headphone, can you give me any video or record of mic testing of this? it would be helpful many of us. hopefully you will provide me a record file to listen how is the microphone of this headphone both wirelessly and with the cable much love from Bangladesh
As mentioned in the review, I think it's great if using Bluetooth. I've not tested it using wired and I am not able to provide a record file. Have a great day!
There are no settings that can be adjusted. If you're having an issue, it's most likely with your Bluetooth adapter. Mine connect to Bluetooth and sound no different versus if they are plugged in via 3.5mm jack. If you think they sound bad both with bluetooth and 3.5mm cable then you probably don't like the eq and you could download an eq for windows and adjust them.
www.amazon.com/dp/B089Q8KX98/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PFYDFbSE7QK04 I bought that one. but the sound quality over Bluetooth went to shit, super low sound and distorted. I'm going to find an equalizer
Weird, have you tried connecting to your phone? Maybe a bluetooth issue with the actual headphones? I mean I've been doing sound most of my life and I literally can't tell a noticable difference
I don't play pubg but I've not noticed any real delay when using Bluetooth, however, with that said I still do prefer wired when I'm gaming just to make sure.
hi i just brought this headphone after watch ur review.. but why there is no surrounding 3d sound with this headphone.. that means this headphone is not good for gaming ? .. or my headphones got manufacturing problem?
Agreed and even tho they don't feature 7.1 there is no issues telling where sounds are coming from with them. In fact, I can tell more clearly with these vs the ones I replaced them with which were 7.1 surround sound.
I am currently using razer kraken x's and my god why did I let me being a razer fan boy get the better of me, I think ill just stick with razer mice and keyboards,I just bought these headphones today actually, although I am replacing the ear pads because I wore my nephews and didn't care for the comfort of the stock ones, so I guess ill sacrifice a little bass for comfort, keyboards, switched to using an actual mic, the Shure MV7 sounds so crisp, are you using an audiotechnica condenser mic?
Yeah, I love game in brands for game and peripherals but I one day just had to thought why am I buying audio equipment from a game in manufacturer and not an audio manufacturer LOL. The ear pads I switched to which are link in the description are phenomenal in my opinion and don't change the soundstage very much. I've been using them now for as long as I've owned the headphones and they still work great. Also, I am using an Audio-Technica condenser mic as well. I'm using the ath2035. If you go to my website omgitsderek.com/my-gear I have listed every product I use for streaming.

@@OMGItsDerek I asked for a set of the wired M50x for Christmas after watching many reviews (including yours!), and I've been loving them! Much better than my Beats! Glad I found so many great reviews of them!
I have, and with Bluetooth 5.0 there's not any noticeable delay, however, it's probably just in my head but I feel like I can tell just a slight very slight delay compared to using a wired connection and in some competitive games like certain FPS is that little split second could make a world of difference so I choose to use them wired. But honestly it's probably all in my head because if I watch a RUclips video or anything with them on Bluetooth it looks like it's perfectly in sync lol
@@OMGItsDerek also sorry i have one more question, did the microphone work over Bluetooth while gaming also?? If so I’m going to buy the Bluetooth mx50’s and send my wired ones back, so i don’t have to buy a separate mic
is there any specific type of bluetooth dongle or adapter that i should look out for to connect to the headphones to my computer? Im planning to get these headphones and use it for everything (movies, gaming, skype, mainly hip hop music)
These have the latest Bluetooth version which is 5.0 so at the least I'd recommend a 5.0 adapter. I bought this one (amzn.to/33Si8mr) and have been happy with it thus far! Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to watch like movies and videos and not have the mouths be out of sync with the actual words you're hearing lol.

Just a reminder that all dongles must also be Bluetooth 5.0 in order for them to connect properly
thanks for the review man been thinking of ditching the gaming headsets. Some say you know you have matured when you stop buying gaming headsets. :)
I think the industry just matured to getting gamers use to spending a hundred or more on a gaming headset and once they did that it just made sense to start actually buying headphones worth that much
also do you know if it can be connected to my pc and phone at the same time?
It can not, only has one device paring at a time! Would be nice to see device swapping in future iterations. That's a nice new tech that I've seen in some headphones!
@@OMGItsDerek oh yeah thanks I just got to the part in the video where you explained that lol. Also, sorry for asking another question but I see on amazon the ATH-M40x version of the headphones are on sale for $99 with an original price of $144. Do you think it'll be better to get those since they are both the same price right now?
(I got you with the sub btw u are very helpful)
I know nothing about the 40x tbh sorry
I have these headphones and they are connected to a computer, and every time I see a video and then it stops the headphones disconnect, and in order for it to play again I have to play the video again or exit it, can you please help me? Thanks. @OMG It's Derek
I can not sir, I've not had this problem or heard about it. Sorry
but where is the mic mute button?
Best review out there, thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day!
Loved the video can you share the aux cable you use for the headphone while gaming ?
A link for it is in the description!
Thanks for the review. I cannot connect these to my windows 10 PC with BT 5.0. How did you connect them?
I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to, I bought a Bluetooth adapter and mine connected with no problems!
Had the same problem. Worked after I installed new Bluetooth drivers on the PC.
Makes sense! Bluetooth can be finicky especially if it's an adapter that came out when 5.0 adapters first started coming out
I recently purchased a new headset (ATH-M50xBT) and noticed that it has a p65 (Proposition 65 Cancer and Reproductive harm) warning on the back of the box. Just a box
Almost all plastic has that warning for california. It's a law in california that requires them to put it as with most products that use plastic
i was going to get the 6xx as well ive never owned a really nice pair of headphones my best is probably my bose ear buds but when i ordered the sennheiser i had over a 1 month wait.
Thank you for this review. About to get one tomorrow
Awesome, let me know what you think!
@@OMGItsDerek I went home empty-handed
The clerk said gave me more options
M50xBT
M50x + Condenser Mic
Corsair Virtuoso (non-SE)
Sennheiser GSP 370
Ahh I'm sorry man. Sennheiser makes Greta headphone as well but I just love my audio technica s
@@OMGItsDerek May I ask if you can do a mic test (wireless and wired)? I guess the mic will be the only deal-breaker for me.
I really like the M50xBT and planning to scour the place for one.
The mic on these won't work on your pc as far as I know
I have a small head, but I wear glasses, and these damn headphones make me feel like the glasses are fusing with my skull lol
So the one million dollar question is: is there any good over- ear bluetooth headphones for music/games/films? Possible not over 100€, but if it's worth it I could spend 150 too. Thank you in advance, even just for reading this crappy and long request and sorry for any errors but english is not my first language 🙏🏻
The Audio-Technica ath30x are really good as well and also the sennheiser hd205 and hd559 are both great
@@OMGItsDerek Ok so there are no good bluetooth options for this price range I guess 😂 .. Anyways thank you sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻 💪🏻 have a good day 😊
Yeah, most bluetooth over ear I've tried that are less than $100usd kinda suck imo. I've not found a set I could confidently recommend.
I don't play FPS's so unfortunately that's a question I'm not going to be of much help with!
Great review man.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for checking it out!
Dude. You totally helped me pull the trigger. Went wired though. Thank you.
Of course, let me know how you like them!

@@OMGItsDerek Just got them in the mail and have been editing all day with them. OMG a dream. I am now going to see what some of the 3D audio from Returnal feels like with these bad boys
Hey, do these headphones have any perceivable delay in gaming?
I'm not an audiophile but I've not noticed any
"Already great fuckin headphones" lol
😂
is the sound comparable to the older brother m50x??? when wired??
bro i bought them but when i conect with bt in my pc it sounds like an phone call.
From my experience this is most times related to the bluetooth adapter you're using. Mine sound no different between wired or Bluetooth
@@OMGItsDerek i realized that when you use the mic of the headset it "explode". I bought a wired mic and now i can use BT
Ahh okay, yeah I don't use the mic on it unless for bluetooth phone calls. I use a separate mic. I like having everything separate so that I have full control.
@@OMGItsDerek yeep, now i'm very happy with the headset. It sounds very fine, I love them
Yeah I really enjoy them based on my last set of turtle beaches 😝
Hi derek, just bought the ath-m50xbt and im not sure if the headphone have an buildin mic on bluetooth mode as you mention at 7:20 please correct me if im wrong :)
Yep they do! I use them for calls via bluetooth on my phone with no issues!
i dont really like bass i prefere a more clear sound high pitch i guess i got the kyper x cloud 2 right now and have had the razer shar v2 pro(would not reccommend for quality) just looking at these for years and dont know iftheres any other contenders other than the Sennheiser 600 HD
Well if it helps, still using them as of today and I still love them overall and just like any headset, as long as they are good quality, eq can pretty much dial you in where you want to be.
Can you use game / party chat with these headphones?
Hey, you mentioned you are using a different aux cable so you can connect your headphones to your PC. The cable that comes with the headphones for some reason doesnt work on my pc. Which cable did you purchase? Id like to know because some cable wont fit the headphones. Cheers :)
Sure man, I use this cable - www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZC1EAW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_aJxgXbZfQIgB2 (aff link)
@@OMGItsDerek Cheers dude. I sorted my issue out now. Turns out my mix amp crashed so the cable works after all. But ordering a spare wont hurt. :)
No worries! I mainly ordered a diff one because the one that came with wasn't long enough for me haha!
I want to use them with my LG C9 OLED as it has Bluetooth 5.0! Do you think it'll be good for movies and what about audio delay while watching movies?
I've not noticed any delay with the Bluetooth 5.0 in using them on any device that also has bluetooth 5.0 personally.
Good stuff thanks :)
No problem!
Do u think the stock earpads are big enough for ears, cause they look pretty small

@@OMGItsDerek 👌 thanks)
Please do me a favor, DONT EVER FREAKING GAME WITH BLUETOOTH EVER.
Depends on the game you're playing. I've used them both way and if it's a single player non competitive game, I really don't think it's much of an issue with bluetooth 5.0
I thought you were Kylo Ren wide for a sec 4:56 xD
💀
i have my m50xbt but it wont connect properly on my custom pc (built in bt adapter) but works fine with my laptop, both running windows 10, any idea how to fix this?
Hmm that's very weird, I've not had any issues with the BT with them personally so not sure I can be much help but maybe someone else will be able to assist.

hey was just wondering if you can speak to people with these headphones like over xbox or discord
I do not believe so! At least I couldn't figure it.out. Bluetooth mic seems to only work for the phone. It's kinda weird as I see no reason they shouldn't but I do have a weird setup with vb cables and voicemeter banana so could just be my setup
@@OMGItsDerek danggg i did order them too i hope i can figure it out , thanks man
Hi, how do you connect it to the pc?
either via a 1/8" cable or via bluetooth...not sure what you mean.
Does it come w/ a usb bluetooth adapter or does it just wirelessly connect straight to your computer?
You have to buy a usb dongle or your pc has to have bluetooth built in!
@@OMGItsDerek Alright, thank you.
My pleasure!
Does anyone know if the headphones need to be charged in order to use the wired cable?
Nope they don't! Just for bluetooth!
Can the mic use in pc for gaming?
Yes sir, at least the bluetooth mic you can. I never used the wire that came with it that had the mic built in to the headset wire so that I couldn't say.
Couldnt we just use a cable with integrated mic ?
Yeah for sure, I just already have a separate mic since I livestream professionally anyways and have a podcast and such
Big question regarding these being Bluetooth and wireless. Are they compatible with Xbox series x? Thanks
And what about the latency on game ?
Honestly nothing super noticable just to be safe I play with a wire when gaming. I guess I'm just old school and can't get it out of my head.
I just bought these headphones. I’m going to use them mainly on pc. But would they work for Xbox one? If so do you know how I would go about connecting them?
Not sure tbh. If xbox one has bluetooth then maybe, or if the Xbox one has an headphone jack.
@@OMGItsDerek i decided not to use them on xbox. But i am having issues getting them to work on my pc for audio and the mic. I cant find any videos that would help
The mic on the headphones only work with bluetooth. The mic does not work if you have them plugged in via cable. The cable that came with the headphones should have a built in mic but doubt it's super good
I'm looking for a wireless headset for Zoom meeting, do you think M50x is a good fit?
Depends on the quality you want. For zoom probs not gonna make much of a difference. Audio-Technica has a cheaper set called the ATH-30x that would probably work just as well unless you really want Bluetooth for some reason.
@@OMGItsDerek Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, the wireless is very important to me.
then I think it's the best headset you can get that has Bluetooth from audio technica and I think it'll be very happy with it
It does not show me the headphones maybe there is a driver that needs to be downloaded ??
Nope, no driver needed. Your pc or whatever must have bluetooth is all

wireless gaming ?
Im considering to get this one or the ATH G1 Gaming Headset instead?
Good luck in your choice! After I left gaming headsets I never looked back and haven't had any regrets!
I finally decide to buy this one and the sound quality is superb for gaming! I sold my old razer blackshark and hyperx cloud alpha which are advertised as “the best gaming headset” but very poor in sound quality, especially for competitive fps games right after i tried this ATH M50xBT
Another thing if you need to bump the sound quality a bit you can pair this to EPOS GXS 300 it has great EQ settings for your needs.
I never lookback for other gaming headset brand from today.
Awesome! So glad you like them and yeah I think they are fantastic!

hello sir, I always watch your video. big fan. I just want to how is the quality of the mic of this headphone, can you give me any video or record of mic testing of this? it would be helpful many of us.
hopefully you will provide me a record file to listen how is the microphone of this headphone both wirelessly and with the cable
much love from Bangladesh
As mentioned in the review, I think it's great if using Bluetooth. I've not tested it using wired and I am not able to provide a record file. Have a great day!
I just bought them, and the sound via Bluetooth to the PC is horrible, do you have any settings or something?
Hmmm, never heard of that brand. I use this one and haven't had any issues with it at all. amzn.to/3jz7ojB
@@OMGItsDerek I bought that same one on Friday but it didn't work for me either, I think I'll keep using them wired
Weird, have you tried connecting to your phone? Maybe a bluetooth issue with the actual headphones? I mean I've been doing sound most of my life and I literally can't tell a noticable difference
Have any delay can noticable when playing pubg mobile via bluetooth?
I don't play pubg but I've not noticed any real delay when using Bluetooth, however, with that said I still do prefer wired when I'm gaming just to make sure.
@@OMGItsDerek thankyou
You're welcome!
hi i just brought this headphone after watch ur review.. but why there is no surrounding 3d sound with this headphone.. that means this headphone is not good for gaming ? .. or my headphones got manufacturing problem?
These headphones don't feature 7.1 surround sound. However, surround sound in itself is kinda gimmicky and useless in my opinion. 🙂
Agreed and even tho they don't feature 7.1 there is no issues telling where sounds are coming from with them. In fact, I can tell more clearly with these vs the ones I replaced them with which were 7.1 surround sound.
Are you still using a "gaming" headset as your main headphones for gaming?
I am currently using razer kraken x's and my god why did I let me being a razer fan boy get the better of me, I think ill just stick with razer mice and keyboards,I just bought these headphones today actually, although I am replacing the ear pads because I wore my nephews and didn't care for the comfort of the stock ones, so I guess ill sacrifice a little bass for comfort, keyboards, switched to using an actual mic, the Shure MV7 sounds so crisp, are you using an audiotechnica condenser mic?
Also, nice name lol
Yeah, I love game in brands for game and peripherals but I one day just had to thought why am I buying audio equipment from a game in manufacturer and not an audio manufacturer LOL. The ear pads I switched to which are link in the description are phenomenal in my opinion and don't change the soundstage very much. I've been using them now for as long as I've owned the headphones and they still work great. Also, I am using an Audio-Technica condenser mic as well. I'm using the ath2035. If you go to my website omgitsderek.com/my-gear I have listed every product I use for streaming.
@@OMGItsDerek funny enough those are exactly the earpads I ordered for them, did a little research online, do they make your ears hot at all? Wasnt sure how breathable everything was

will these be good for gaming Bluetooth? or will i have to play them connected?... also any delay on audio?
With bluetooth 5.0 as long as the device you are using them with is also 5.0 I don't think any delay is noticeable. At least for myself.

Have you tried these over Bluetooth for gaming yet?? If so what were your thoughts??
I have, and with Bluetooth 5.0 there's not any noticeable delay, however, it's probably just in my head but I feel like I can tell just a slight very slight delay compared to using a wired connection and in some competitive games like certain FPS is that little split second could make a world of difference so I choose to use them wired. is there any specific type of bluetooth dongle or adapter that i should look out for to connect to the headphones to my computer? Im planning to get these headphones and use it for everything (movies, gaming, skype, mainly hip hop music)
These have the latest Bluetooth version which is 5.0 so at the least I'd recommend a 5.0 adapter. I bought this one (amzn.to/33Si8mr) and have been happy with it thus far!
