You can put alcohol is a small spray bottle and spray the mealie bugs - the alcohol will kill them instantly. Or use a Q-tip dipped in alcohol and get each mealie bug with the q-tip.
You have beautiful plants but those pests…wow!! I use diluted neem oil and castille soap. Also, 70% Isopropyl alcohol directly on the mealy bugs. Hope this helps. 🪴🙋🏼♀️
Only made it to you showing the "crusty" maranta and paused to comment. My maranta was doing the same thing but in "soil". I think i determined i wasn't watering her often enough and its seemed to help. Been wanting to try semi hydro & shes definitely on my list for experimenting with. Newer sub from the usa also 🫶🏻
Thank you for joining the story 💚🌿 if it wasn’t for semi hydro I wouldn’t be able to keep marantas. I struggled before with the soil and watering. Couldn’t find a balance. My others are so happy in semi hydro it’s just this one that does this.
We had mealy bugs at work, I've tried to attac them with a wattenstaafje with alcohol and that worked really good to kill them😂 but it was so much work just for that one plant... but I gave up the second time🫣
I love the way you've styled your house with your plant collection!
Thank you 🥰 I do my best, a lot of rearranging throughout the year 😂

Nice indoor plants.
Thank you 💚
love the billie
Your plants are looking beautiful ❤
Thank you 💚
i believe with maranta that if your water is too hard it can cause crispy tips
But I use rain water… I’ll try with distilled and see if it makes a difference 🌿
Mine gets crispy too. Could never figure out why. I use treated water to get rid of chemicals.
@@melaniedeschutter979 ja I don’t know what the problem is. I’m going to start over with her.
Where did you get the white wallplanters from? I just love them!
They are from the brand ‘ecopots’ very got quality and they also come with a water reservoir and the screws + plug 👌🏼
Sucks about all the pests. Just remember winter is coming and *should* help!
I hope so 🤞🏼😁
The crusting on maranta is probobly from your water. Maranta want destilled water. Thx for sharing your collection 🥰
Thank you for commenting 😁 I use rain water and it’s the only maranta that does this. She is more thirsty than the others 💚
🌵
Love love love your corm set up!!
Thank you 💚 I want more small cabinets for them just don’t have the surface area for it.

Look up Scindapsus silver splash vs tattoo🪴✨🌿
Oo thank you! It definitely to me looks more like a silver splash 💚

Oh no! Yes it does work but takes so long 😂 Multisect from KB can also be used for mealies if it gets really bad.
