  • Greenwood would like to thank Chief Neil Foley, Deputy Jerome Hart, Chief Master Mechanic Ken Antonson, and the rest of the Plymouth Fire Department for choosing Greenwood to supply their new Tanker 1.
    Tanker 1 is a unique wetside tanker with a stainless-steel body built on a 2024 Freightliner M2 112 2 door chassis and powered by a Cummins L-9 450hp engine. This compact (27’ long w/178” w/b) truck carries 2000 gallons of water with a Hale AP PTO pump rated for 500gpm. The truck also features pump and roll capabilities, a 200’ booster reel recessed under the rear of the body, a double pre-connect hose tray on top of the driver side compartment, a front bumper pre-connect, a 4” rear direct tank fill, triple dumps, storage racks for 3 lengths of hard suction and a Zico hydraulic drop down portable tank rack. Other features include a heavy duty steel bumper with a 20” extension, wheel chock and SCBA bottle storage in the wheel wells, a trident air primer, on spot tire chains, a vista IV display for the V-Mux electrical system, rear and side directional cameras, and a Whelen warning and scene lighting package.
