    Sorry if this sound rude or unappreciative - but if you use Spotlight to open the terminal, why won’t you just use Spotlight in the first place to open the desired App?
    Surely there is a more sophisticated use-case for this terminal command, but that was not subject of the video..

    Or you could just use Spotlight to search for the application and open it from there, skipping the terminal part...
