it’s an APSC lens, and he shoots on the FX3, a full frame camera, so the vignette is because of the different sensor sizes

Any advantages to this over a 16-35 on full frame (besides size/weight)?

Price and OSS. This lens is like 300 while the 16-35 f2.8 is 1400.

@@geebes2112 hey! this lens on full frame can go relatively to 12-18mm on full frame. I can’t really explain to u the usage of this lens, i use it for candid-unserious projects where i know i dont need everything to be at 100%. if it misses focus a little and some parts arent focused im good with it. i also have a little 4mm reach which have a certain look i cant explain a 16-35mm f4 lens could not do and it can mount filters too.

The only AF lens in the world that can do 12mm in a FF body and still have front filter thread.

how did you get vinetting in every shoot? is the lense? or a filter? for me is a mistake for every shot, but a pictures or 2 will work and for video is just too much

I believe is because the lens was made for APS-C. To eliminate it on a full frame, 12-13mm is the lowest length you should use.

Does anyone know what this 10mm would be in a full frame camera?

it'd be a 10mm but if you can see, there's crazy vignetting at the very wide end. i think if you zoom into like 13-14mm it goes away. next widest on full frame would be the sony 12-24 f4 but you cant put filters on that... plus its crazy expensive.

You can find full frame 10-18mm lens at the same price but you loose the Auto focus.
Check the Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Zoom

its cool, but at this point the 12mm rokinon f 2.8 is the same thing auto focus as well. this one you gotta go to 12mm any way to get rid of the vitiating
