Aparently she saved her peacocks and not her son. Her Gofund me does not mention her son it mentions her studio and that she needs money to rebuild it. Yikes.
Stayed in Malibu because she thought they'd be fine. "He was always worried about me. I think he felt guilty that I did so much for him." Her life was centered around her.
By the looks of the RUclips videos I’ve seen she looks like she stayed in Malibu to mingle with the celebs. Funny I haven’t seen Rory in any of these videos 😳
I better not say anything. It's just better that I don't. I absolutely agree with the comments before this.. Watching that was as bad...nevermind. It just made me sick to watch that.
To those who wrote the headline for this video: He was a former child actor, not a child star. There is a difference. He was in 2 episodes of something no one has ever heard of from 1998, which starred only he and his mother. That does not make a "star". Maybe someone should focus on why his mother left him behind and saved some peacocks instead. So tired of click bait titles.
I really hope this is investigated. Even if her story was somehow truth she should still be held accountable for leaving him behind and not even attempting to save him.
I just watched a video clip of Rory when he was about 10 years old, being interviewed on an Australian talk show. His mother literally referred to him as "a blind cabbage," referring to what she thought of him when he was born blind, and with cerebral palsy. He was beautiful and intelligent, and she said all that right in front of him, on live tv. That poor, poor child! Rest in peace, sweet Rory. You deserved better.
She really seems to be lapping up all the attention she's now getting, here in Australia they've been showing clips of her right after her poor son died and not a tear shed by her when she recounts the story over and over and over again. Disgusting.
Thank you. Was thinking the same thing. I can't believe this. Poor Rory he suffered a terrible/painful death . Why when it could have been prevented by his own mother? Oh I forgot she has already done enough for him.

@@asmrmysticalangel968 if you had an adult child that had mobility issues, as she claims he did, then you would always be pre-prepared for natural disasters and emergencies. You would have pre-made arrangements with neighbours or friends who could help (and I mean during the evacuation phase way before her or her son were in any serious danger). You would have a sattelite phone in case the phone lines went down. You basically would have some sort of emergency plan to keep your son safe for emergencies like this, especially when you lived in a wildfire zone. There are so many red flags in the two versions of her story she has given. The first big one is, why didn’t she and her son evacuate when they were ordered to, and if her son refused, she could have rung the police or fire department then, and had him forcibly removed. I’m sure the mother could have put up the argument that he couldn’t make sound decisions. Except I’m sure he could make sound decisions. Ran to the comments - if you have a special needs son why wouldn’t you evacuate early knowing it would take a bit longer in case of emergency? Something is off here.
Quote from an article: Las Virgenes Municipal Water (LVMWD) also responded to the claims that the water was shut off during the time of Rory’s death. A spokesperson told NBC News that “water service did remain available and uninterrupted to her property and the entire surrounding community,” adding, “Our water system remained operational and we did provide water to the firefighters throughout the emergency and without interruption,” the spokesperson said.

Don't give her a dime for her gofundme! Police need to investigate her asap. This is sickening.

Blah blah blah
Aparently she saved her peacocks and not her son. Her Gofund me does not mention her son it mentions her studio and that she needs money to rebuild it.
Yikes.
Stayed in Malibu because she thought they'd be fine. "He was always worried about me. I think he felt guilty that I did so much for him." Her life was centered around her.
Yes and she was crying but no tears
By the looks of the RUclips videos I’ve seen she looks like she stayed in Malibu to mingle with the celebs. Funny I haven’t seen Rory in any of these videos 😳
If r/EstrangedParents was a person.
I better not say anything. It's just better that I don't. I absolutely agree with the comments before this.. Watching that was as bad...nevermind.
It just made me sick to watch that.
I caught that too. WHAT A B!
There's no sugar coating it, she's responsible for his death by not evacuating in plenty of time when advised to do so. She has to live with that now.

This woman needs to be investigated
THAT is a very strange woman.
It is Hollywood...
Never heard of him
Agree 100%
he was in britain so.
He's dead does actor or star really matter?
Two episodes of which starred only he and his mother. Hmm. Could be telling
Wait, what? Something tells me this isn't the last we'll hear of this story.
Wow.
😲😲😲
But she saved the peacocks. That’s gotta count for something.
Wow.
She really seems to be lapping up all the attention she's now getting, here in Australia they've been showing clips of her right after her poor son died and not a tear shed by her when she recounts the story over and over and over again. Disgusting.
The moment SHE decided to ignore evacuation orders is when she became responsible for her son dying. PERIOD!
Thank you. Was thinking the same thing. I can't believe this. Poor Rory he suffered a terrible/painful death . Why when it could have been prevented by his own mother? Oh I forgot she has already done enough for him.
Stop judging people. It does not help anyone.

I don't know to me it seems like she's trying to convince herself that leaving him behind wasn't due to her being resentful for having to take care of him long term. I'm only making my own assumption though it could have played out the way she's describing but something does feel off about the whole thing.

You would have a sattelite phone in case the phone lines went down. You basically would have some sort of emergency plan to keep your son safe for emergencies like this, especially when you lived in a wildfire zone.
There are so many red flags in the two versions of her story she has given. Well I'm not going to say anything abt her. But "I" wouldn't be on TV talking abt it, tho! But everyone is DIFFERENT. May he rest eternally. 🕊
😢😢😢😢sad can not find his body omg.
@@toosassyshe was on Australian TV because they lived here when Rory was growing up. He was an ambassador for one of the childrens' hospitals here.
I would die before I left my beautiful child to burn to death. How this woman could pull it together so quickly (makeup, hair done) for the camera speaks volumes. Smh
A "child star" nobody has heard of because he wasn't a star.
Any parent would save their kid or die trying. She either planned this, or is extremely stupid. I tried to give her story the benefit of the doubt, she did lose someone. But watching her tell this story made my skin crawl. Somethings off
The mother should have evacuated with him when everyone started to leave rather than staying behind thinking they will be OK
Evacuate especially if you have children, seniors or special needs people! No common sense here. In the 94 Laguna Fires, I evacuated my 4 yr old son & 85 yr old Uncle when threat was fairly low for South Laguna.
Not a single tear on her face.
This is extremely sad
I would have stayed with my son 🕊️
Obey evacuation orders people!!!! She is right about one thing , "Nobody should have to go through this"! He would be alive if they had evacuated.
There is something very wrong here
Thoughts and prayers for All of the family's AND PRAYERS FOR All the firefighters and first respondents 😢
Umm 🤨🤔 she got her beloved peacocks 🦚 but not her disabled son? 😒 This doesn't take a detective to suspect criminal negligence 🧐 No tears either 😭
This sounds suspicious
Yup.
I kno where the tears at tho and she looks creepy af
