Thanks....this is just one of many Twilights tracks that I want to create stereo mixes of for Terry & send to him, but I haven't got the time currently to dedicate to learning how to do it...lol. I've got tons of old mono tapes from the 70's and 80's of my old band, so I'd love to do all of them...it'll be SO much fun...most people don't even know that the EP version of this song is totally different to the single version....
@@LeonThe4th If you are interested maybe we can do a collaboration. I've been doing these mono to stereo conversions for a few years now - & the more recent ones are quite good. Check out "Elevator Driver" by The Masters Apprentices. Also "Women" by The Easybeats. If you have access to the B&W clips of both of these, they could be synched to my stereo mixes. I know John Bywaters from the Twilights personally. Also drummer Laurie Pryor's wife Stella. Tiger.
@@TigerRogers0660 Oh yeah.. but I've only just found your channel, so I'm still taking it all in... I've got a few mixing/artwork/compilation projects on right now & I'm hopelessly behind schedule😩 but I love to collaborate one day...thanks for the invite😁😁😁
Terry Britten, my guitar hero from my youth. I spent, many hours standing at the stage watching how he played and achieved the various sounds. He truly was/brilliant, I probably owe him a lot of money for guitar lessons, so sad that we lost him when he went home to England. For me, the best guitarist in Australia at the time (forget about Kevin Peak, just a fast player with no soul like Terry) Just my opinion but I was there week after week.
For some this is history, for me, I saw this band live many times in my youth, Terry Britten playing Sitar in Festival Hall in Brisbane. One of my favourites from my youth....still good after all these years.
@TheMungiman Super cool! I only discovered the band recently. i was surfing for Garage Rock etc on RUclips.I loooooove them. Got any interesting facts about them to tell me? Cheers
@debiedog1 I saw him for the first time in years in the reunion DVD. He looks like ME now! but the funny thing is I didn't look anything like him when I was young. I was bald by the time I was 23.
One of my favorite freakbeat records of all time. As good as anything the Who did. Another world class monster from Down Under
WOW!! Great clip of The Twilights! Loads of energy here! Tiger.

Garage punk from the Twilights! Hard to believe this is the same Glenn Shorrock who would later front the Little River Band.
Terry Britten along with Kevin Peek the best two lead guitarists of that era.
Wow. Great stuff. Ahead of their time. How come I never heard of them? Too good maybe.
yes!
The next issue of 'Shindig' magazine should have a piece on The Twilights according to the promo on their site.
AWESOME!!!!!
Glenn Shorrock at his hirsute best!
