Nice !, hope you do more of these.. including some of the more crappy aka ( Challenging ) sound environments. Like some of my local reverb horror dens ! Hard walls no damping etc ….😊😅

Sure thing. I can definitely make more of these 🙂

Yup - very typical, and actually somewhat better equipped than some venues I find myself in. Analog snakes are still a thing, and the board you'll find is always an interesting mystery until day of event. Worst experience was a place with a pair of home hifi speakers and a pioneer receiver tied to a newmark DJ mixer. Luckily that was in a pre-event pre-booking walkthrough, and I dodged that one. (I did offer to rent in some appropriate equipment, but they balked at the cost. Of course.)

The venue I work at is very similar... We have an RCF & Yorkville system installed, processed by a Venue360.
We use a milk crate for all our XLR cables to make them easily portable.... We have a mic locker however typically we bring our own mic kits and also bring extra stands specially for when we have national acts come thru...

Have you had any problems using the unshielded/non ethercon connection to the stage box? I've heard nightmares of huge static bursts at inputs because of unshielded cat-5 cables, wondering if you've experienced anything like that.

I don't think I've ever used unshielded cat cable for it but I've never had any problem with non ethercon connectors.
