Nice playthrough. I agree that this game is a great deal for the money. I'm pretty sure that Black Panther's Hard Slash power doesn't allow spending multiple power points to reduce toughness. Scarlet Witch doesn't get her special power if attacked by a ranged attack coming from outside her space.

Well hopefully it wasn't too much of a game changer in my favor lol I forgot exactly what happened. I'm excited for the full Marvel Zombies to arrive, its going to be sick. I’m going to save this for my Monday drive but I had no idea this was out already! Retail came before the KS! Even though the KS will have more content, it’s weird that CMON did this. I’m not mad (although shipping was expensive) or anything but I didn’t expect this to come out first. Either way, it looks good.
I believe this edition was more from Spin Master, so maybe it was more of them pushing to get it out sooner. I'm not entirely sure but yea I'm surprised it came out before the other stuff as well. But yea man this was a lot of fun, a fresh take to the Zombicide games, at least to me. Small form factor, not expensive, zombicide experience, quick setup, and some power Marvel characters that make it so you don't have to search non stop for good weapons and door opening items. So far its been a blast.

I almost backed the big version but now that this is a thing I am really happy I did not. As you said time is premium and this is a light game, being able to set it up and get it going quickly is a must. This seems the perfect balance between cost and gameplay compared to what I would call the 'bloated' all-in. It would be nice to get one other box to get the zombie mode with 6 zombies / 4 heroes and the cards to make it cross compatible.
I think that is a great idea, and hopefully that can be the case. But I'm not sure since this is the smaller retail version. But there might be some way to get creative to incorporate them together if not. But seriously man, this is great bang for your buck, and like you said you don't have the bloat of 20 other boxes, saving you money and allowing you to get it to the table easier.

For this price and being easily available on Amazon and big box retail this will be the gateway into Zombicide and hopefully hobby board gaming
