Folding the BMW Side Mirrors

You may have noticed newer vehicles have mirrors that fold when the car is locked. That is a great feature to have for safety reasons and to protect you mirrors from being clipped.
The BMW comes with that option. Some models you have the option to turn it on and some it is activated by default.
The folding mirrors is explained in this video on how to activate it.

I discovered I could accidentally fold in my mirrors by holding my hand on my door handle. I knew I could lock it by doing that but i didnt know that I could fold in the mirrors and I did it and then I couldn't do it again ,it was weird.

How does the 3rd option work ? Lock and hold the door ? How do you hold a door ?

I was only able to fold them with the remote once, never been able to duplicate it again.
