    Great video, thanks getting the pins out definitely the trickiest bit for me, mine was a nissan tino but all nissan models look very similar. Would have sent it away to get repaired but £180. A little excessive for 30 mins work, one tip be very careful drilling pins out

    Very quickly done ….I usually remove the damaged float and don’t put one back in and cut new blade .I have never had a recall from doing this

      Why do you need a new key in the case that you don’t put one back in?

      Does this really work without the dusk cover thing that worn out? Would be amazing. I removed one but after 6 months already worn out again..

    Hey great video!!
    Can I ask what size drill bit did you use to get the small pins out?
    And how deep did you drill in them?

    hi, what are the small pins that you drill out? I need to replace them but not sure what the part is called? Can I fill around them with some soldered metal?

    • @CliveBilby
      @CliveBilby 2 года назад +1

      You don't need to replace them, if you use a small enough drill, and pull them out, as shown, they go straight back in. You can fill the centre with any mailable metal like lead if you wish. Saves having to buy a tiny piece of metal to the width of your drill bit!

    £275 including call out fee round my ends. They rebuild the thing. Not to even replace it.😢

    Hello Sebastian.
    Thank you for this video. Together with some other video's it enabled me to fix the lock of my Nissan.
    However, around 2:30 I see that you put the new lever in upside down! How did you manage to get the steering lock working this way?
