When Frozen 2 came out, everybody was talking about "Into the Unknown", and I was so confused... Like, hmm, did you guys not hear "Show Yourself" ? I mean Into the Unknown is great, but come ooon.. Show Yourself is absolutely beautifull.
This is what baffled me too, Show yourself to me is the show stopper. It's Elsa finally finding out her purpose and discovering who she is. So much better than Into the unknown
This movie came out when I was in a DEEEEEEEP depression. And hearing "you are the one you've been waiting for" absolutely crushed me. It still makes me cry sometimes.
@@nicanproud ik this is not the same movie, but since u r talking about a specific quote, i recently watched Sonic 3, and the quote "the light shines even though the star is gone" made me fricking sob my eyes out. I haven't lost anyone, thank God, iv just been at a really low point and i think back to when i was happier and wonder why i cant be happy right now. I hope your depression has gotten better, and hope mine does soon too. (don't worry i haven't had any bad thoughts, iv just been really sad.)
100% agree. It is crazy to think that it was potentially going to be cut from the movie. I also cannot listen to The Next Right Thing after watching the making of documentary and hearing the back story of the song. I always leave the room when that part starts, although we haven't watched anything but Wicked for the last few weeks haha. My 6 year old is obsessed.
IMHO "The Next Right Thing" has no right being that good. That level of grief is so relatable when you've lost someone that close. and its true, sometimes the only thing you can do is close your eyes and try to remember to breathe. My best friend used to tell me "one heartbeat then another, one breathe then the next, one foot in front of the other, then repeat." sometimes that's all you can do... but eventually you will be able to cope again. eventually...
I love Frozen 2. Here's a fun tidbit for you. That high 4-note repeated passage that Elsa keeps hearing is actually the Dies Irae, but about 3 octaves higher than normal. The composers did that on purpose because they wanted it to feel both ethereal and dangerous, and most people know the Dies Irae even if they don't know the name and would feel that subconsciously.
Frozen 2 has always been my hands down favorite. Frozen (The first) is a great fun movie that really subverts the fairytale princess trope. Frozen 2 is musically and thematically beautiful and so much more mature.
I love how the more confident Elsa is and the more she learns about herself, the looser her hair becomes. It was in a tight bun at the beginning of Frozen, she released it into a braid after running away and finally being free to use her powers (Let It Go), it's in a ponytail at the beginning of this movie (3 years after Frozen, she's been ruling successfully and been allowed to use and better learn about her powers), and then she completely lets it down as she's about to find out about her true origins (Show Yourself). Same with her clothing, it becomes flowier. "Fun" fact: I'm fine just listening to the song, but if I'm actually watching the Show Yourself scene, I always well up when her mother joins the song
I'm pretty sure that phrase you were thinking sounded familiar in 'Some Things Never Change' was a call back to "what are we gonna do?" from 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman'. Also, that sequence of Olaf explaining the plot of the first movie led to a series of shorts on Disney+ where he summarises all sorts of topics in the same way.
Funny story. My family saw this in theatres when Frozen 2 came out. As we watched in the theatre, and Olaf says, “Samantha? Samantha? I don’t even know a Samantha!” I was like “I do!” My big sister is named Samantha. Hilariously, she raised a hand above her head, and pointed at herself. My sister even smiled. She was like “That’s me!” It was so good! 😊
Honestly watching the bts where the animator talks about animating Kristoff's 80s moment is just as fascinating and exciting to see as the actual film itself.
I cannot hear The Next Right Thing without full on sobbing. Before this movie came out I would describe grief as being in a pit or cave and trying to find my way out so the imagery with the song is just a next level gut punch.
I just arranged an a cappella version of Show Yourself for my high school a cappella group and it’s actually so cool. It’s definitely my best arrangement yet
Omg i love this movie and also your hair haven't been here in awhile but you came up your hair is so beautiful it really accentuates your feautures so good
The funny part is that you asked where is the horse bringing her. To tell you the truth the Horse was trying to kill her by drowning here which would scary the life out of me💀😭
So I started watching this video, and then paused it to watch frozen 2 cause its amazing! When I got to the lost in the woods song my partner looked at me and said "Yo they stole this song. Its so much like Chicago You're the Inspiration" and its soooo true.
"That was epic!" 😂 Love "Lost in the Woods" and Kristoff is my favourite character. For the next Disney reaction, may I suggest "Wish" movie or some "Frozen" shorts? They have songs in them.
So funny story! When I saw this movie in theaters with my dad, when “Lost In The Woods” started, I thought, 'This sounds like a Chicago song!'. Turns out, that was one of the bands that inspired that song! I think it's a silly, over-the-top song, but it reminds me so much of my favorite band I have to listen to it anytime it comes on. I think Disney said “Into The Unknown” was supposed to be the next “Let It Go”, or was it “Show Yourself”? Anyway I thought that “Into The Unknown” was better than “Show Yourself”. I fully agree that Frozen 2 was a rarity in that it was better than the first one! OUAT was such a great series, the sequel they tried to do flopped so hard, in my opinion, though.
My husband & I took our daughter to see this not long after i lost my gran who raised me as her daughter, and show yourself completely destroyed me... I had to take time out to compose myself.. didnt want my daughter seeing my grieving hard.. even now im still in pieces.. Does grief ever get easier? 💔
"Tangled" had some music issues bts, but pretty much every film since "Frozen 2" (except maybe "Encanto") has had production issues in general. It seems execs just can't let creatives...create.
I think Frozen 1 has a better and more cohesive story line while Frozen 2 has better songs and vibes to it. I kinda wish that Arendelle was destroyed by the wave at the end and Anna would tell Elsa that she (okay this isn’t a pun lol) has to let go of it and then you can see Anna’s leadership through a song reprise of “Some Things Never change” where the people help rebuild the kingdom and then Elsa gives her the crown. Idk it felt a little easy to be like “yeah Anna’s queen now!”
This movie the music is better because it just is.. these movies have always been about mental issues. I don't care what anybody says. It's just mental issues. Stress, anxiety, depression--all classic hooks for Disney movies? But hey, it appealed to everyone
Spoiler frozen 2 is not better at all,is a disaster, they destroyed plot and characters, divided the sisters, stripe Elsa of ALL what she gain in the first, she is again alone away from her sister, like get back in depression mode, anna as queen is hideous, she first betray arendelle and condamn all to death when elsa saves everyone and then anna became ruler? She never even study for be one. And than elsa just leave HER HOME? frozen 1 was gold compared to this.

Yay!!!! Finally! I’ve been waiting for this since you reacted to Frozen 1!!!!
Hey Audrey, you so do we react to Cinderella versus stepsisters princess rap, battle, music video totally TV
When Frozen 2 came out, everybody was talking about "Into the Unknown", and I was so confused... Like, hmm, did you guys not hear "Show Yourself" ? I mean Into the Unknown is great, but come ooon.. Show Yourself is absolutely beautifull.
Show Yourself is right there! truly baffled me that it wasn't nominated.
This is what baffled me too, Show yourself to me is the show stopper. It's Elsa finally finding out her purpose and discovering who she is. So much better than Into the unknown
Bad enough I guess because into the unknown was promoted as the lead single. That’s what was chosen.
This movie came out when I was in a DEEEEEEEP depression. And hearing "you are the one you've been waiting for" absolutely crushed me. It still makes me cry sometimes.

I don’t care what people say, both the frozen movies are amazing and there’s a reason they are some of the highest grossing movies
Thank you so much I'm 21 and I still love these movies they're so amazing ❤
Show Yourself is by far the best Disney song ever made and it’s not even close.
I refuse to believe that it is possible to watch the Show Yourself sequence and not think it is a masterpiece. That song makes the movie, imo.
into the unknown
It´s my favorite also, so freacking good.
"You are the one you´ve been waiting for.. - all of my life" Ughhhh
100% agree. It is crazy to think that it was potentially going to be cut from the movie. So underrated. Frozen 2 is a rare situation when the sequel is BETTER than the original in every aspect.
FROZEN 2 IS ATROCIUS
100%
@raphael I definitely agree. I remember going to everyone after seeing this for the first time saying it was better than the first 😂
@@NightLunaLianah
@@NightLunaLia Okay, well first let's learn how to spell atrocious!
Show Yourself is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life.

It is the most underrated song in the whole franchise and I will die on that hill
Fun fatc, Jonathan groff did all the reindeer voices, even sven (so like 28 of them)
I did not know that! That’s so cool

Not all sorts of topics actually. He retells some of the most popular Disney movies.
@@etherealethan You're right, my mistake. I was getting it mixed up with Forky's series.
Show ur self is hands down the best song from both films
Funny story. My family saw this in theatres when Frozen 2 came out. As we watched in the theatre, and Olaf says, “Samantha? Samantha? Idk why nobody talks about The next right thing like THAT song hits home for me so hard by far my favorite in the entire movie
the lil dog memes are killing me 13:57
5:07 "That's probably how Danny's gonna be when he asks me to marry him"
For some reason, I thought you and Danny were already married - my bad 😂
Same! This is one of those rare films where the sequel is just as good-possibly even better!-than the first one! I love Frozen 2
Ryder:
Kristoff:
Audrey: 🤨🌈❓
Ive always loved this one more, and yes the songs are a huge part of this!
I loved this one more than the first.
I actually fully agree, love love love Frozen 2 and it is so much better than the first.
The Next Right Thing is probably one of my favorite songs ever and I have cried to it so many times
Show Yourself might be one of the best musical songs ever
the voice of the unknown is actually sung by AURORA!! you should definitely check her out
I love this one more than the first. It's a little dark and more complex.
This movie is SUCH a masterpiece I love it so much
I love your reactions ❤❤
Honestly watching the bts where the animator talks about animating Kristoff's 80s moment is just as fascinating and exciting to see as the actual film itself.
"She's always concerned" is so relatable helppp 😭
I love the songs in this one so much. Chrisophe's power ballard is the absolute BEST.
I cannot hear The Next Right Thing without full on sobbing. Before this movie came out I would describe grief as being in a pit or cave and trying to find my way out so the imagery with the song is just a next level gut punch.
I never thought of Kristoff being gay, but now I cannot unsee it. XD
The editing 😂😂
Into the Unknown is a great song, but since this movie came out I've always thought Show Yourself was better.
STOPPPPP CAUSE I WAS SINGING INTO THE UNKNOWN TODAY AND FEELING OLD CAUSE THIS MOVIE IS 6 YEARS OLD AND LIKE OMGGGG I MANIFESTED THIS VIDEO
15:16 you should try and watch this deleted scene from fronzen 2! This is also Kristoff wanting to propose, and I really ADORE this song! ❤❤
I just arranged an a cappella version of Show Yourself for my high school a cappella group and it’s actually so cool. It’s definitely my best arrangement yet
in my opinion show yourself is a better song than into the unknown, both good songs though:))
Frozen is based on Norse mythology from Norway. Arendall is actually a real town / city in norway
Omg i love this movie and also your hair haven't been here in awhile but you came up your hair is so beautiful it really accentuates your feautures so good
frozen 2 is really amazing. I liked the first probs a 6.5/7 out of 10 but this blows it out the water
I'm glad you liked this movie as much as I did 😊
You need to watch the Disney+ behind the scenes/making of Frozen 2 ❤❤❤

I have good news and I'm so excited guys. I been obsessed with frozen since i was 11...and Disney just revealed that FROZEN 3 will be released in 2027
I love your hair! You look fabulous!
Musically I think Frozen 2 is much more interesting. Plot wise I have mixed feelings but I still think it's a fun movie to watch.

Frozen 2 are amazing, I don't care about what people say

"Tangled" had some music issues bts, but pretty much every film since "Frozen 2" (except maybe "Encanto") has had production issues in general. It seems execs just can't let creatives...create.
Into the unknown will always be frozen 2 best song 🎵 👌 ❤️
I love both of them, but I do love this one more
Oh I miss the vibes when I watched it for very first time 😢
