I miss XY, XY2, XYZ so much, its a feeling I can't describe, no other season had so much development, such connection with friends and rivals, the villains, everything was perfect. Its even better than diamond and pearl, the animation is also so good, ahead of its time. I can't believe they rushed journeys, the finale, with that kind of execution and quality of animation, it should've been like XY.

been watching Pokémon from the beginning over the past couple years for the first time. Not quite at XY yet, but I've heard great things about it so I look forward to it. I'm currently working my way through the DP generation, right now I'm nearing the end of Galactic Battles (Season 12). I'm also excited to see what BW holds, I've heard very mixed things about it. This cover is just brilliant though, so catchy. Edit (2022-06-16) - I'm at the end of BW now, just a few episodes left, and I've gotta say that I've really enjoyed it, obviously not as much as DP but still it wasn't bad at all. I'll be starting watching XY this weekend, so I certainly look forward to that. Just got the first introduction to some of the Kalos Pokémon and they look pretty cool!

it has been stated that years have passed (like in the Pichu and Pikachu short) but it was later confirmed he was still 10 (in the first episode of BW). It's no longer a joke, Ash being immortal is confirmed
It's because of the pilot episode. The first legendary pokemon seen in the anime is HoHo. Ash sees it at the end of the episode and wishes that he would be able to keep traveling forever ( probably until he becomes a master). Which has now happened since he is the first to win the alola league. Rumor is that he and Pikachu wont be the main protagonist in the up come Sword and Shield anime which will be the final installment of the pokemon franchise.
kids these days say the best pokemon anime is pokemon journeys but real legends know that greninja vs Charizard and Greninja vs Mega Sceptile had more hype than the hype of Naruto and Greninja and when we saw greninja do the ash evolution we had to much hype and we cried when ash fighted sitron for the last time and we were hyped when serena kissed ash at the last moment and all the songs in pokemon was legendary especially the japan version was hype when greninja was fighting Mega charizard and Mega Sceptile. it had the best action and we were hyped also when ash and the gym leaders were trying to stop the zyqard statue from going to the mega stone and ending the world. It was one of the best my favorite fight was Greninja vs Mega Sceptile

Not making any changes to Emii's DoriDori lyrics ;) I actually prefer "power of dreaming". "Dreamdream" would just sound awkward in English, imo. And trust me, my DoriDori cover will be awkward enough already, haha!
This is one of my favorite Pokemon songs, and it's cause I found it in a fanfic I like, and that's also how I discovered your channel. So, that fanfic actually kinda changed my life, in a very minor way, but it feels huge to me
*Sigh* I'm so sorry these other people were so insistent on the DoriDori, I was probably one of a few people who had the same thoughts as you as it wouldn't sound right with a male singing it, and your not Hydalin - you don't do auto tuning to sound female. Onto less sighing, I really like how the translation was put together. As the original writer of hte Song claimed, this song is sung from not just Ash's perspective like other intros, but also from Clemont's. The first verse is Ash's, and the second is Clemont's. The original translated lyrics make this obvious enough, but the way the lyrics change in your version make it a LOT more obvious. The first part uses a lot of fighting terminology, which is totally an Ash trait. Meanwhile, the second half uses technical terminology - the only thing missing is the original line about Clemont throwing off the ideal of being a wimp - but I don't think it ever came up in the anime anyway, so it's a lot truer to who he is here. It's such a perfect translation. My only, and very minor, gripe is that you're using the untranslated "Getta Ban Ban" rather than "Mad Paced Getter", but to be fair, you have to sing that REALLY fast to get it in in that time, so it's understandable. I swear, if I ever get the software, I'd totally do a cover myself using these lyrics.

Well..Now I'm wishing the opening we got in the U.S. was this song; In my opinion I like this song better, but I guess a cover of a song that's like 10 years old or more (The original Pokemon gotta catch them all one) is fine too
While I liked the song overall, I think the added words during the first chorus make that part sound a little clumsy, though I may just be too used to Daniel Alverez's version, as I think I've listened to that dozens of times. That rhyming during the second stanza though, that was on point. I know if won't affect your projects at all, but I know Megami33 is working on a cover of DoriDori too. Have you two collaborated at all?

Hate to be a bother but is there any chance you can upload a version of this without the extra 'coming up' part at the end? The reason being, I like to listen to these covers in a playlist and it kind of interrupts the flow of it if this stays the way it is.

been watching Pokémon from the beginning over the past couple years for the first time. Not quite at XY yet, but I've heard great things about it so I look forward to it.
I'm currently working my way through the DP generation, right now I'm nearing the end of Galactic Battles (Season 12).
I'm also excited to see what BW holds, I've heard very mixed things about it.
This cover is just brilliant though, so catchy.
Edit (2022-06-16) - I'm at the end of BW now, just a few episodes left, and I've gotta say that I've really enjoyed it, obviously not as much as DP but still it wasn't bad at all. I'll be starting watching XY this weekend, so I certainly look forward to that. Just got the first introduction to some of the Kalos Pokémon and they look pretty cool!

it has been stated that years have passed (like in the Pichu and Pikachu short) but it was later confirmed he was still 10 (in the first episode of BW). It's no longer a joke, Ash being immortal is confirmed
It's because of the pilot episode. The first legendary pokemon seen in the anime is HoHo. Ash sees it at the end of the episode and wishes that he would be able to keep traveling forever ( probably until he becomes a master). Which has now happened since he is the first to win the alola league. Rumor is that he and Pikachu wont be the main protagonist in the up come Sword and Shield anime which will be the final installment of the pokemon franchise.

kids these days say the best pokemon anime is pokemon journeys but real legends know that greninja vs Charizard and Greninja vs Mega Sceptile had more hype than the hype of Naruto and Greninja and when we saw greninja do the ash evolution we had to much hype and we cried when ash fighted sitron for the last time and we were hyped when serena kissed ash at the last moment and all the songs in pokemon was legendary especially the japan version was hype when greninja was fighting Mega charizard and Mega Sceptile. it had the best action and we were hyped also when ash and the gym leaders were trying to stop the zyqard statue from going to the mega stone and ending the world. It was one of the best

doofinc Well, the way I write my lyrics, I never drag out words when it can be avoided. To me, dragging "dream" out that way doesn't sound right. But that's just me, and not everyone will agree, and I understand that! So I pretty much give Mark free reign to adjust whatever he wants to!
Not making any changes to Emii's DoriDori lyrics ;) I actually prefer "power of dreaming". "Dreamdream" would just sound awkward in English, imo. And trust me, my DoriDori cover will be awkward enough already, haha!

This is one of my favorite Pokemon songs, and it's cause I found it in a fanfic I like, and that's also how I discovered your channel. So, that fanfic actually kinda changed my life, in a very minor way, but it feels huge to me

*Sigh* I'm so sorry these other people were so insistent on the DoriDori, I was probably one of a few people who had the same thoughts as you as it wouldn't sound right with a male singing it, and your not Hydalin - you don't do auto tuning to sound female.
Onto less sighing, I really like how the translation was put together. As the original writer of hte Song claimed, this song is sung from not just Ash's perspective like other intros, but also from Clemont's. The first verse is Ash's, and the second is Clemont's. The original translated lyrics make this obvious enough, but the way the lyrics change in your version make it a LOT more obvious. The first part uses a lot of fighting terminology, which is totally an Ash trait. Meanwhile, the second half uses technical terminology - the only thing missing is the original line about Clemont throwing off the ideal of being a wimp - but I don't think it ever came up in the anime anyway, so it's a lot truer to who he is here. It's such a perfect translation.
My only, and very minor, gripe is that you're using the untranslated "Getta Ban Ban" rather than "Mad Paced Getter", but to be fair, you have to sing that REALLY fast to get it in in that time, so it's understandable.
I swear, if I ever get the software, I'd totally do a cover myself using these lyrics.

While I liked the song overall, I think the added words during the first chorus make that part sound a little clumsy, though I may just be too used to Daniel Alverez's version, as I think I've listened to that dozens of times.
That rhyming during the second stanza though, that was on point.
