I started when I was 5. I didn't really get into the series until I was 8 and gen 4 dropped. I got it day 1 and was hooked. Ever since, I've been into every game. The series has its ups and down, but looking back at everything, it's amazing how big of a part of my life pokemon has been.
I was about 8 years old when I started my journey. For me it's been close to 18 years. No matter how old I get, I won't forget my first starter. When I leave this world in the end, I'm sure to have more adventures with Pokemon under my belt. I will always have a place in my heart for the Pokemon that stayed with me all these years.
The 2 characters are actually so cute I love their design! Also the Pikachu and Eevee are cartoonishly cartoons especially the eyes which is a cool stylistic choice!

I managed not to cry hearing this. Some tears were close to being shed though. This song, I think, embodies what Pokemon is to me. A fun escape to another world where you can be a hero, not because you have a special power or ability, but because you got a team of six pokemon to back you up and trust you with all they have.

If I'm being completely honest, when the LAST pokemon game is released, I would love it if pokemon decided to do one massive throw back cutscene at the end of the game, doing like the first 20 second this way to represent the early gameboy types of game, with this exact song, with a very similar animation with a slow form on like a keyboard at the end, with a quick flash of all the main trainers ever in a pokemon game, as if some sort of a memory, and the trainer having that "memory/flash" smile and tear up and just sit down with their starter outside of there pokeball and just have the trainer put their head on their starters shoulder and with the rival in the back ground turning to smile to them and sit down with them. And just like at the end of the original video mew flying around but just the faint black silhouette in a sunset. something like this would be sure to bring all pokemon fans to tears and leave them (or at the very least me) happy and satisfied.

Perfect! Absolutely perfect! You either sound a lot like the original singer or do a very good impression of him. Looking at some of the other covers I'm really glad you didn't fall into the "trap" of translating the lyrics literally or verbatim. Something is always going to be lost going from one language to another, and the lyrics never quite sound right. You put your own spin on the lyrics without losing the original meaning, and in many cases I think it's an improvement. Awesome work, and I hope you get more recognition because you certain deserve it.

My journey started with the Red and the Yellow Editions, when I was 11 years old... 22 years later I'm still traveling with my Pokémon... even now with the less good games like sword and shield. My hopes are high, with the next games everything will become better again
As of writing this, I am 24 years old, I started my journey into the world of Pokemon when I turned 10 with the DS games, Pokemon Diamond, then Platinum when it came out a bit later down the line. And throughout the years, I've been disappointed in a few of the newer games, but I still have fond memories of each game. I love just about every pokemon game I've ever played, even if some have more flaws than others. I'm still hoping that Scarlet and Violet will at least let me use the Sinnoh starters at some point, I want to use my favorite pokemon on my team again, but even if I can't.. it'll be okay, I'll continue making new memories in the new regions and continue my journey. I hope everyone continues their own journies and hope that those starting theirs' will enjoy the ride we're all on/have been on!
I remember when the original song had been released, I though "wow, I can't understand a thing about this song but I like it so much already!". Then today while I was talking abt it to a friend of mine, I searched the English version and WOW, this made me love this song even more now, it brings me back so many good memories. I was very moved to tears by the appearance of N in the lyrics. The phrase "shaken your life" is not usually used in Japanese. however, our lives are sometimes compared in Japanese to a "flaming heart like fire” . Because even if it ignites, it will eventually go out. We say "when your life is shaking," which means "when the fire is about to go out" = "when you are about to fall down, too. I love your song as much as the Japanese language, which can express so much in this short phrase! I really wanted to convey the unique expression of the Japanese language! Thanks for reading!
Began in Silver when I was 7, and after 19 years I'm still traveling with my memories of my first journey. Rom hacks to side games, I will always love this series and the characters. Yes, even the dick rivals like Gary/Blue. I only hope the journey for the young crowd first seeing these games will always enjoy their escape into the Pokèmon World, even if it is just them watching the anime or playing the card game. We will never forget our first starter, our first nuzlocke, our first trade or our first rom hack. Keep on the route ahead, for the best things are yet to come.
I remember starting my journey at age 10 with Pokemon HeartGold. I also remember playing this with my younger brother, he got Soul Silver. He doesn't play pokemon anymore but I still remember those sweet memories and trying to beat each other in battles and trading. We then introduced the game to our cousins and we soon had a bond with the game being our glue. The memories keep running through even though now we're all in college and in different states. I knew it would be since it's a BOC song. And this cover is really good. What I really love about this is that it doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult. Pokemon is for everyone of all ages. Perfect! Absolutely perfect! You either sound a lot like the original singer or do a very good impression of him. Looking at some of the other covers I'm really glad you didn't fall into the "trap" of translating the lyrics literally or verbatim. Something is always going to be lost going from one language to another, and the lyrics never quite sound right. You put your own spin on the lyrics without losing the original meaning, and in many cases I think it's an improvement. Awesome work, and I hope you get more recognition because you certain deserve it.

My journey started with the Red and the Yellow Editions, when I was 11 years old... 22 years later I'm still traveling with my Pokémon... even now with the less good games like sword and shield. My hopes are high, with the next games everything will become better again
As of writing this, I am 24 years old, I started my journey into the world of Pokemon when I turned 10 with the DS games, Pokemon Diamond, then Platinum when it came out a bit later down the line. And throughout the years, I've been disappointed in a few of the newer games, but I still have fond memories of each game. I love just about every pokemon game I've ever played, even if some have more flaws than others. I'm still hoping that Scarlet and Violet will at least let me use the Sinnoh starters at some point, I want to use my favorite pokemon on my team again, but even if I can't.. it'll be okay, I'll continue making new memories in the new regions and continue my journey. I hope everyone continues their own journies and hope that those starting theirs' will enjoy the ride we're all on/have been on!
I remember when the original song had been released, I though "wow, I can't understand a thing about this song but I like it so much already!". Then today while I was talking abt it to a friend of mine, I searched the English version and WOW, this made me love this song even more now, it brings me back so many good memories. It's so nice how sometimes a few moments of your life find a perfect soundtrack to it.

I watched the original by BUMP OF CHICKEN and then hearing this, I was flooded with memories of when I was 6 and I got Fire Red and Leaf Green. I've been playing Pokemon since Generation 1, I got hooked after playing generation 2. by the term base and battle system and the ability to have a friendship with their Pokemon. enjoy being in exploring and protecting the world as best I can. Pokemon go has good intentions but I got sidelined but at least I got to help my parents to get into it. I plan on playing Pokemon with a long haul, I hope Pokemon does not make the same mistake blizzard it did. not everyone wants to play a video game on their phone. great job on Pokemon Masters just don't forget about being able to catch Pokemon at some point , is that seems like that is one of the things that is missing out of it.

The lyrics of the N scene in the original music video are sung in Japanese as "When your life is shaken". I was very moved to tears by the appearance of N in the lyrics.
The phrase "shaken your life" is not usually used in Japanese. however, our lives are sometimes compared in Japanese to a "flaming heart like fire” . Because even if it ignites, it will eventually go out.
We say "when your life is shaking," which means "when the fire is about to go out" = "when you are about to fall down, too. I love your song as much as the Japanese language, which can express so much in this short phrase!

Began in Silver when I was 7, and after 19 years I'm still traveling with my memories of my first journey. Rom hacks to side games, I will always love this series and the characters. Yes, even the dick rivals like Gary/Blue.
I only hope the journey for the young crowd first seeing these games will always enjoy their escape into the Pokèmon World, even if it is just them watching the anime or playing the card game. We will never forget our first starter, our first nuzlocke, our first trade or our first rom hack. Keep on the route ahead, for the best things are yet to come.

I remember starting my journey at age 10 with Pokemon HeartGold. I also remember playing this with my younger brother, he got Soul Silver. He doesn't play pokemon anymore but I still remember those sweet memories and trying to beat each other in battles and trading. We then introduced the game to our cousins and we soon had a bond with the game being our glue. The memories keep running through even though now we're all in college and in different states. I love pokemon even now and forever

The song is amazing. I knew it would be since it's a BOC song. And this cover is really good. What I really love about this is that it doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult. Pokemon is for everyone of all ages. It was my first anime. The anime that introduced me to anime in the first place, so it holds a special place in my dead cold heart. I turned 26 this year and my love for Pokemon has not changed at all from when I was a kid. Pokemon may change, but I will always love it. This cover really is something I needed. It's what we all needed.

My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Red Version! I love this. Eevee has always been a favorite of mine. I know it won't happen but I'd love to see an anime with the trainers featured here.
A fitting song for a series thats been with me for as long as I can remember, the oldest memory I can recall is getting a gameboy advance SP for my fourth birthday, Pokemon Sapphire and LeafGreen were the first games I ever played, wherever the series goes from here with Sword & Shield I don't care, it'll always be a part of my life.
