Thank for sharing. This video would be 100% effective if you also showed which PHP extensions to turn on with the appropriate PHP version. And you actually jumped two version up 7.4 to 8.1 omitting 8.0 completely. Smart practice is to do it gradually, version by version.

Thank for sharing would i ask a question that if i have create two one is 5.2 the main and other is for testing the php version is 7.2 while the extension right now , the current php version 5.6 if i change to 7.2 can change it back ?

I've just changed php version from 7.4 to 8.0 following these steps on my hosting account (tsohost), but it seems the change hasn't been propagated to wordpress website, where I still see php version is the old one. Am I missing anything? Or does it take some time to update it on wordpress too?
