This video has been fantastic for me getting back into yugioh after about 10 years, currently im playing around with my favorites of these online and figuring out which ones I want to buy. Thanks so much guys. BTW this channel is the sole reason I decided to get back into the game, love your work and the variety of content you guys come up with! Keep up the great work all of you
As someone who recently just got back into Yu-Gi-Oh and also got into duel links my first deck was six samurai. I instantly wanted to build a deck around them as I'm a sucker for anything ninja or samurai. while i still didn't know about the set yet, I've been getting more cards over time and now I've tweaked it enough to use it consistently with a good success rate from experience. Although duel links seemingly lacks specific cards from the set which may make it hard to play with full potential but playing six samurai Taught me so much about the new evolution's of Yu-Gi-Oh that changed the game while i was out of the hobby. Overall I'd recommend this deck to anyone who's new or in intermediate stages of the game, great stuff!
World Chalice is one of the only decks I can think of for under $50 that has a 1-card "Break My Board" combo that ends with a live co-linked Tri-Gate Wizard, an Archlord Kristya, and a set omni-negate counter trap (World Legacy's Sorrow), along with game damage on board (11,300). All of that, just from Venus. It has a huge drawback though, as it is a super-glass cannon deck. Veiler/Imperm on Venus severely diminishes your end board, and if you have no extenders, can straight up just end your turn. This is par for the course with combo decks like this, though, and if you enjoy combo decks and want to play a deck that has the same kind of crazy combo plays as some of the big boys of the format, World Chalice is definitely a deck I recommend. Nothing in the main deck is expensive, and the most expensive extra deck card is Union Carrier (and yes you need it because it is part of the 1-card combo). Definitely a deck that you'll have an absolute blast with if you enjoy combo decks =)
One of my personal favorites, and another one that's quite affordable is the Satellarknights. They're very simple to play, as they all gain effects on summon, regardless of the method. The thing I like about them is the fact that the deck actually makes continuous trap cards such as Fiendish Chain, Call of the Haunted and Oasis of Dragon Souls (among others) viable options, as Stellarknight Triverr bounces everything else on the field back to the hand, making the aforementioned continuous traps live again. On top of that, since they're all Level 4 Light Warrior monsters, you've got access to all sorts of Rank 4 Xyz monsters with my personal preference being the Utopia/Prime/Lightning package. The monsters can be supported by cards like Honest, and you can also use Ties of the Brethren to set yourself up for next turn.
Only disagreements I really have are mekk-knight and fire fist. Those cores are actually alot higher than 50 if your playing the best possible version.
Just being honest.. I love the list and the content that these guys bring us. Always have just putting it out there that out of 50 only 2 are over the price. And actually quite a bit over ie. Purple nightfall like 45 for a playset, same with elephant from fire fist around the same price.
Thank you someone finally said it. I was thinking of purchasing a fire fist deck but when I saw the price of elephant I decided to save that deck for a later time
As a traptrix player myself i kinda have to disagree with it being under 50, u have to put into consideration that main pieces like sera and surprisingly FLOODGATE traphole already take up like 60 dollars together. And then you have to put into consideration that almost every main deck monster has gone up a bit in price. Especially myrmelleo who even in rare copies is at least 2 dollars.
D.D Slayer sera is up to like $10 but floodgate is only at $3 unless you’re going with the speed duel version? I agree that the deck may go over 50 but sera plus floodgate definitely aren’t $60. I think fire fist is likely also over $50. Can’t blame them though, it would be very time consuming to actually go through and price out every deck on the list so they probably made educated guesses on most of the decks here and were just a little off on a few of them
D.D Slayer i see several sera’s for $11 and floodgates for 3 after shipping on TCGplayer 🤷🏻♂️ but either way, it’s semantics. Point is there are some decks on the list that are a decent bit over $50
I've found Floodgates go for $2 - $3 and Sera's around $7 - $10 on Amazon and some TCGplayer prices. You only NEED two Seras and two Floodgates, which is going to be roughly $26 or maybe $30 maximum. Saying it would be $60 for the best cards in the deck (aside from Sanctum) is a pretty good deal since the rest of the deck is dirt cheap. It's like $100 for the whole deck which, believe it or not, is in fact budget.
I'll list 3: Cubics: Fun OTK deck based on summoning one monster (Crimson Nova) and arming it with Cubic Wave or Cubic Karma, but has a lot of ways to negate monster effects with things like Cubic Mandala or Vijam. It can easily OTK if Nova is protected from backrow, but it also can brick if you draw the monsters that can't be Normal Summoned/Set. The deck is relatively cheap since the whole thing is found in the recent Movie Pack, but Duel Overload gives Cubics more inexpensive support with Cubic Dharma or Cubic Ascension. Dustons: Really trolly OTK deck based on swinging House Duston into an Attack Position monster and then filling the board with Dustons, to open up other plays with things like Goblin King or Starduston, especially Goblin King, which can get to 8000 ATK/DEF easily with House Duston's summoning method. This deck is extremely vulnerable to Link plays, but with Master Rule 5 coming up, it's a wee bit buffed. It also may get bricky if you just draw into any of the Dustons not named House Duston, since that is the main engine of the entire deck. Counter Fairy/Parshath: Trap Card heavy deck that focuses on negating basically anything via Counter Trap, and then using the Fairy's various abilities to your advantage, such as adding Spells/Traps to your hand or Special Summoning Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath. It's a bit of a slow deck reliant on your opponent activating effects, but it can be effective if the Counter Traps are played at the right time.
don't forget about cubics! the are one of the cheapest deck that can occasionally beat any deck! Also, is mekk-knight really under 50$? i feel like it's more expensive than that
You can easily turn the tables with the HERO structure using Clocktower Prison to stall without stalling with it’s effect. You can also summon a stable starting board with fusion destiny by targeting a malicious and dynatag to summon dystopia then banish malicious and use the second malicious to summon Cross Crusader to revive dystopia and then you can STILL use your normal summon with a card like drilldark to special AGAIN and summon the Xtra hero poster monster and then you get it powered up because of the monsters in grave
Dinomists are also quite budget, most of them are in the 50 cent to dollar range, adds up to qaround 40 for the engine and to around 60 if you want handtraps and access to infinity
@@Feast_ that depends on what you're using. Mekk knight Blue, Purple and Avramax are expensive. 1 Avramax is 30$... 1 Purple is 15$ and 1 Blue is about 7$. You add up the numbers based off what you'd be using.
@@joshsmith420 I'm not sure if a Mekk-Knight Orcust deck plays Avramax with how much crap's already in the ED, but I'd think 3-of for Blue and Indigo would be necessary. I believe I'd also need a Morningstar since Girsu in ETCO can basically be a 1 card Morningstar while being an Orcust Armageddon Knight
ever deck in the game is ganna cost way more then 50$ if you consider the extra deck as most extra deck cards are expensive staple cards. as a side note this video i fell is decks you could spend 50 and see some success. for mekk knights a 50$ build would be all the mekk knights, the field spell and using the world legacy mekk knight trap that negates monster effects in the same column as a mekk knight monster. if your going for a 50$ you would most certently not buy avramax and your extra deck would be composed of the mekk knight link 3 and 2 and the rest wound be common cards that you had previously or can get afterword. and you wouldn't have 3 purple and or 3 blue. 2 at max for ether of them. you could 100% get a simply mekk knight deck for under 50 and find success
me too, i see this video when i have no idea to make a new deck, the i see this video and the rest is history, the only card i need now is tenki fire formation and my lunalight deck is complete
This gives me hope, my yang zings, sylvans, and ritual beast may not be in the 50 range, but some of my cheap favorites. Noble knights are part of my collection as well
Infernity ist another nice budget deck. Can synchro spam, has negates, etc. Invoked is budget as well. If you Play it with element sabers for example, you have very Strong negates Monarchs are still quiet Strong. In the right build they can destroy many cards on the field, they can stop all extra deck plays from the oppent with cards like zaborg the mega monarch, etc
Gimmick Puppet is a pretty alright budget option. It spams generic Rank 8s and their boss monsters have interesting win conditions, Giant Grinder being spot removal, and their rank 4s further their rank 8 plays. Overall, pretty interesting deck in my opinion.
Well, glad Pendulum Magicians got a mention. Just spent about $50 to get the rest I wanted, along with some stupid good Odd-Eyes extra deck monsters, so at least they come with some kind of recommendation. Also, Bujins and Counter Fairies... they’re cheap. Probably not super good, but they did get new Links in Overload, so they might be worth looking into.
Great video! I've recently built both time thieves and aromages, so it's nice to see you guys believe in their viability on a budget. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a ton. I love synchro monsters and I've been looking for a new synchro deck, but couldn't find any affordable ones, but thanks to this vid, I'll be trying out some new decks soon. Thanks again.
Goukis are so fun! Dinomist are super fun as well, I built the entire main deck for 25 bucks. Speedroids are a great cheap deck as well, especially with the new master rule
Deck Number 51: Speedroids. Ez pz Synchro deck with a ton of recoverability and the amazing bosses in the Synchro Dragons, Clear Wing Fast Dragon, and Kitedrake. They can gain advantage really fast while stopping the opponent in their tracks
My Gimmick Puppets can be very budget and they can otk out of nowhere. My favorite play is to go into Chimera Doll and use its effect to go into Strings, use Strings effect to drop some string counters. Battle phase attack with both monsters for 4500 LP, then activate Rank-Up Magic Quick Chaos to go into Dark Strings, using its effect to pop whatever monsters still have counters on them, then still in the battle phase attack with Dark Strings for game.
Another good deck are Dinomist for the fact that they're super cheap and they gain off each other like dinomist Brachion which if you're low on attack you can just summon him or dinomist ceratops which if you only control dinomists you can summon him and their spells and traps are really good and you can build your extra deck however you want with and they're relatively cheap the most expensive cards Dinomists Rex and pteran
I was hoping to see Aliens or Batterymen on here. But it’s okay loved the video! You guys should make a serious of you dueling with all these decks or going over some basic combos with them so every budget player like me gets an idea of what they can do as well.
I honestly think Tindangles work pretty well, pretty cheap and they are a flip deck. they mostly search and get big beaters on board fast with the little flip monsters, and they have some great protection cards to make a pretty unbreakable board, only issue is that they're slow as heck
I like the way "Fur Hire" cards are written backwards. So instead of the card saying; "Add 1 'Fur Hire' monster from your deck to your hand." it says "Add 1 monster 'Fur HIre' from your deck to your hand".
I tried some of these decks: Furhire, realy good Cyber Dragon:played like 3 or 5 years ago,not bad But rockett deck:still playing today, and 1 of my favourite decks of all time, beside cybers, melfy, and gizmekk.
This was a good video for me to watch. I dont play the meta but just got back into the video games after a LONG hiatus with LOTD Link evo and needed to find out what decks to run.
Duelist Kingdom vampires are soo fun with vampire domain stealing life points and fraulein letting you swinging over anything, plus only cost me around $50 australian . I just bought a lair of darkness and so keen for it to arrive from the us.
Yeah, guys Lost World Dinos are not currently 50 dollars. A play-set of Oviraptors alone is about 25 bucks, plus Aeolo which itself is almost 10. It's closer to a 70 dollar deck, which still isn't bad at all tbh.
Brand spankin new to yugioh. Long time magic player so i have a basic understanding of archetypes, strategies etc. what deck is a good one to learn the game and also be somewhat competitive with my friends that have played for a while?
I am a time thief player, I use the pure version though because I'm a budget player aswell as because they can play with their own cards no need for Lunalights even though it's less consistent it can still play and fun :)
i have a meme deskbot deck on nexus i could never imagine playing irl because of the random ass attack boosts they get out of nowhere, but i am building it if i get cards from it in packs
As a retired og veteran player who is just getting back into the game.. I can honestly say I have never heard of most of these archetypes.. which means im a new player again. Feels weird.
Though I'm glad Marincess was mentioned since I play Marincess, it's not under $50 (sadly). A playset of Coral Anemone by itself is around $40, and the playset of Blue Tang would be around $20(believe me I just ordered my singles yesterday). BUT I definitely think that the prices will continue to go down
just a random question. im interested in playing yugioh card game, however, time to get all the cards would be challenging, what i would like to know is if you guys make decks to order? for a beginner?

Counter Fairy/Parshath: Trap Card heavy deck that focuses on negating basically anything via Counter Trap, and then using the Fairy's various abilities to your advantage, such as adding Spells/Traps to your hand or Special Summoning Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath. It's a bit of a slow deck reliant on your opponent activating effects, but it can be effective if the Counter Traps are played at the right time.
No giant soldier of stone turbo, unsubbed
don't forget about cubics! the are one of the cheapest deck that can occasionally beat any deck!
Also, is mekk-knight really under 50$? i feel like it's more expensive than that
Most definitely not anymore, a playset of Purple Nightfall and Blue Sky already is over 50
@@xenontynnos8888 especially with invoked, well I played that for a tiny bit before the sky rocketed prices
@@brandondowdy4220 Yeah, I was lucky to pull a copy of Invocation from a Shadows of Valhalla and I bought a Secret Rare for about 15 dollars
@@xenontynnos8888 yea and I had the mekk knight invoked deck, and traded it then 3 weeks later everything was bought out
@@brandondowdy4220 I won't trade mine in, but if I ever did I could make some serious cash from it.
I thought about the deck
I was about to say this, I have played dinomist since they were released
@@obadiahmartinez how is it?
Brandon Dowdy it’s good, it’s not very competitive but has potential. I run a pure dinomist
@@obadiahmartinez nice and I wont mind running it with something

HEART RATE TO 10,000 IN EXCITEMENT
Sorry guys but as a mekk knight player, they're not a 50$ deck. I wish they were lol. It cost me about 100$ and that was when they were cheap
How about a Mekk-Knight engine? (Not a full deck) is that still pricey?
My mekk-knight deck costs me about 250$. Pretty far off from your 50$
ever deck in the game is ganna cost way more then 50$ if you consider the extra deck as most extra deck cards are expensive staple cards. as a side note this video i fell is decks you could spend 50 and see some success. for mekk knights a 50$ build would be all the mekk knights, the field spell and using the world legacy mekk knight trap that negates monster effects in the same column as a mekk knight monster. if your going for a 50$ you would most certently not buy avramax and your extra deck would be composed of the mekk knight link 3 and 2 and the rest wound be common cards that you had previously or can get afterword. and you wouldn't have 3 purple and or 3 blue. 2 at max for ether of them. you could 100% get a simply mekk knight deck for under 50 and find success
it’d be cool if you put all the monsters you’re talking about on the screen, but I love these videos. Trying to find a fun deck to play ❤️❤️
me too, i see this video when i have no idea to make a new deck, the i see this video and the rest is history, the only card i need now is tenki fire formation and my lunalight deck is complete
If you Play it with element sabers for example, you have very Strong negates
Monarchs are still quiet Strong. In the right build they can destroy many cards on the field, they can stop all extra deck plays from the oppent with cards like zaborg the mega monarch, etc
3 decks made of Zombies. Zombies never got so many mentiones in a video from any youtuber.
Gimmick Puppet is a pretty alright budget option. It spams generic Rank 8s and their boss monsters have interesting win conditions, Giant Grinder being spot removal, and their rank 4s further their rank 8 plays. Overall, pretty interesting deck in my opinion.
Love this! I run a competitive cyber dragon/machine deck, and needed a budget option for more casual play.
Sad my boys the Ancient Warriors (Senka) has been completely forgotten, just like Volcanic Support
Also sad my emergencies got reprinted as well
I'm not giving up on the ancient warriors (imo dynasty warriors)
Alien deck starts crying
I made my Skull Servants deck pretty cheap. I don't pack "optimal amounts of Wightmare" but still fun and gets big fast
Omg 2 of my favourite decks are mentioned (not that it's important or anything but seeing Romulus gives me good vibes)
Deck Number 51: Speedroids. Ez pz Synchro deck with a ton of recoverability and the amazing bosses in the Synchro Dragons, Clear Wing Fast Dragon, and Kitedrake. They can gain advantage really fast while stopping the opponent in their tracks
Love the quick explains and breakdowns perfect vid my dudes maybe effects lol
My Gimmick Puppets can be very budget and they can otk out of nowhere. My favorite play is to go into Chimera Doll and use its effect to go into Strings, use Strings effect to drop some string counters. Battle phase attack with both monsters for 4500 LP, then activate Rank-Up Magic Quick Chaos to go into Dark Strings, using its effect to pop whatever monsters still have counters on them, then still in the battle phase attack with Dark Strings for game.
F I N A L L Y the power of simorghs has been acknowledged!
"End Phase summon Barrier Statue."
Altergeist is a budget version of dark magician but has more competitive play😅
I was hoping to see Aliens or Batterymen on here. But it’s okay loved the video! You guys should make a serious of you dueling with all these decks or going over some basic combos with them so every budget player like me gets an idea of what they can do as well.
I honestly think Tindangles work pretty well, pretty cheap and they are a flip deck. they mostly search and get big beaters on board fast with the little flip monsters, and they have some great protection cards to make a pretty unbreakable board, only issue is that they're slow as heck
Good video guys, the idea is very simple but the execution made it refreshing!
I like the way "Fur Hire" cards are written backwards.
So instead of the card saying; "Add 1 'Fur Hire' monster from your deck to your hand." it says "Add 1 monster 'Fur HIre' from your deck to your hand".
This Video made me want to try Odd-Eyes
You can add Cubics, Sky Strikers and Krawlers to the list as budget decks, and they are not that bad.
Karakuri are just so enjoyable, and you can even hybrid them with geargia.
Are they even good anymore?
I tried some of these decks:
Furhire,realy good
Cyber Dragon:played like 3 or 5 years ago,not bad
But rockett deck:still playing today, and 1 of my favourite decks of all time, beside cybers, melfy, and gizmekk.
I love it how my favorite deck archetype made it. Good ole childhood memories with Gravekeepers.
There's so many cheap fun budget decks going like cubics, timelords, monarchs, yosenju,f.a's,skull servants
This was a good video for me to watch. I dont play the meta but just got back into the video games after a LONG hiatus with LOTD Link evo and needed to find out what decks to run.
Alot of people complaining to be fair buy the cheap stuff and try to trade for the expensive stuff
Absolutely loved this list! Been a fan of some of these decks for awhile I might have to build a few of these!
Mekk-Knights are easily 80+, Purple alone is 10-15, and you need 3. Along with Blue who is 5-10, you need 2-3
Yeah exactly but I literally love their lore so ye I need them AFTER I GOT CHALICE, CRUSADIA, AND ORCUST GRRR
Time thief’s we’re less then 20 bucks and are really fun to spam rank 4’s thanks for the recommendation
Cubic can otk out of nowhere and cost a literal public hair to build
I heard it's a going second
@@brandondowdy4220 It's better going second. It can do a lot of damage going first, but being able to attack will help you out.
@@mywayfernandez8704 true
any good lists i can get?
i wish there was links you could click and the deck is built and ready for you to buy.
I would love for there to be simple decklists assorted with this video. But still very well done.
Anyone have tips for easily getting my hands on cubic cards?
Dark side of dimensions box has alot of them but I went on tcgplayer and bought 3 copies of all cubic cards for less than 20 dollars
My Gladiator Beasts and my Lair of Darkness
Duelist Kingdom vampires are soo fun with vampire domain stealing life points and fraulein letting you swinging over anything, plus only cost me around $50 australian . I just bought a lair of darkness and so keen for it to arrive from the us.
What's the best ways of getting cards that you need that don't have a structure deck
Oh man you didn't forget Gem-knights! You guys are awesome
50 decks? wow y’all really out here thanks team
What about gadgets or trains?
Yeah, guys Lost World Dinos are not currently 50 dollars. A play-set of Oviraptors alone is about 25 bucks, plus Aeolo which itself is almost 10. It's closer to a 70 dollar deck, which still isn't bad at all tbh.
Love Crusadia’s also phantasm spiral decks are great as well.
11:48 Altergeists are sorta cheep yeah. But if you want to play them with more ease it can get pricey
what about witchcrafters?
So glad you did this I am a duel links player and I want to get into the tcg now I feel like I can
Can yall do an updated version for 2020?
Brand spankin new to yugioh. Long time magic player so i have a basic understanding of archetypes, strategies etc. what deck is a good one to learn the game and also be somewhat competitive with my friends that have played for a while?
I am a time thief player, I use the pure version though because I'm a budget player aswell as because they can play with their own cards no need for Lunalights even though it's less consistent it can still play and fun :)
Where is elementsaber at?
I love videos like these, keep up the great work!
What about Photon Galaxy? They're my personal favourite archetype and last time i looked it up they weren't that expensive.
How can I find a Lunalight decklist? I have a bunch of the cards for it and I am looking to get back into Yugioh
Where's the love for Yosenju, Blackwing, and Deskbots? 😢
DetermiNATE 21 deadass bro what about yosenju!
a bit late but my blackwing deck costs 300 if you wanna play blackwings and win you gotta drop money a playset of simoon is 36 dollars
i have a meme deskbot deck on nexus i could never imagine playing irl because of the random ass attack boosts they get out of nowhere, but i am building it if i get cards from it in packs
Thank you for this video! Lot of good ideas!
Also if they errata seraphanite to only let you get an additional normal summon of a gemknight monster i can get my brilliant fusions back
ik im late but which do you reccomend for someone looking to get back into yugioh?
Lemme see if Mermail is on this list, cause the core is less than $50
My disappointment is not immeasurable and my day isn’t ruined, because at least Marincess was on this list.
Are Spellbooks expensive? I only play Dueling Nexus and YGOPRO.
@@shireygo do mermail and marincess have similar playstyles? I was wondering because I have been looking into playing marincess
Rob E. D.
Mermail and Marincess do not have similar playstyles, but you are able to play both in the same deck. It’s weird.
@@shireygo that is weird.. which would you recommend the most?
I really want to build a nekroz deck. Hope that they don't get expensive if unicore gets semi or unlimited from the banlist
GIVE ME THE 50 DECKS PAUL! MY BODY IS READY!
Did you misspell that or you are actually talking about decks
What about destiny and elemental hero’s. Are they good?
Please tell me we’re I can get an aroma deck for 50ish dollars same thing with marincess and harpies because I sure as hell cant find them.
As a retired og veteran player who is just getting back into the game.. I can honestly say I have never heard of most of these archetypes.. which means im a new player again. Feels weird.
Thanks for making this video!!! Instant subscribe :)
This is a great vid but do y'all got any sample budget lists for some of these??
Do any of these change after the April banlist?
This was such a nice helpful guide
What is a good place online to buy most the this cards ?
“Nailed itttt”
This type of video will be amazing for this year as well :D.
Morphtronic OTK or Morphtronic shooting star quasar. Both super cheap and fun to play.
Can my 3X order of the spellcasters Endymion pendulum deck do well in 2021? Im new and trying.
How do I buy a fur hire deck I can only find single cards is there a structure deck I could buy or something?
go to ebay and search fur hire deck core
Though I'm glad Marincess was mentioned since I play Marincess, it's not under $50 (sadly). A playset of Coral Anemone by itself is around $40, and the playset of Blue Tang would be around $20(believe me I just ordered my singles yesterday). BUT I definitely think that the prices will continue to go down
When will you be doing a new one of these videos!? 😁
I didn't know what to expect but this was a solid list.
just a random question. im interested in playing yugioh card game, however, time to get all the cards would be challenging, what i would like to know is if you guys make decks to order? for a beginner?
If you are starting your best bet is to buy a good structure deck (3 of that structure you choose). And watch some deck profiles using 3 of that structure deck.
How much do superheavy samurais cost
What archetypes are good with lair of darkness?
