Organizing and decluttering is a constant battle, not just makeup but the household.
There is something so cathartic about watching you "play" with your makeup! LoL! I just love it! I could watch you do this all day, seriously! 🥰
I managed to squeeze everything into one (!!!) desk drawer. My new strategy is 'don't open new shiny items if you haven't finished the other ones' - it really helps to keep track of expiry dates (and save money). That means I have 2-3 of each item in rotation (2 everyday, 1 luxury evening/special occasion look). And then I have a second drawer with new unopened items.
I've been trying to do something similar lately. It's going pretty well but man the temptation is strong! 😂

LOVE seeing that you continue to work and speak around FelicityRose when she's sleeping. A lot of parents try to keep it unnaturally quiet when an infant is sleeping, not knowing that it actually works against them. If you get them used to noise they'll sleep right through it 😊 Can totally tell this isn't your 1st rodeo! 😂😂

It makes me happy that you have that ulta everyday favs. It's quite good and I bought it before I saw you had it. I end up using my favorite sparkly shades, but I use every single one of the mattes in there! Usually I have one transition shade I like, but all of them are useable in this one.
I get the urge to do this kind of thing every single time I look at my makeup collection, LOL

I have the same container and I absolutely love it. I use it for my shop my stash and have even been able to put products for 2 projects in there as well. Plus the top is a great size up put additional products on for more storage

I thought that it was so cool that this video popped up today. I just spent an hour re-organizing my makeup so that I could find things when I need them. I have been trying a lot of your recommendations, and the new things were being piled on top of each other. I’m new to makeup, so my collection is nowhere near yours, but I feel your sense of accomplishment.

NYX Stay Matte Not Flat powder foundation has been discontinued. That and the Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil. They seem to keep discontinuing products I like!
If I were you, I’d almost do it in reverse. Instead of keeping everything at home and occasionally bringing a few things to the work space, I think I’d prefer to keep everything at the work space and then bring home a few favorites that you can switch out as you want. I’m sure the way you have it works best for you 😂 our brains are very different
